  1. Anti-Virus software is notorious for affecting videogames drastically. It's far less of a bug and more a very common occurrence across many games. If you really need to do a scan, it would be best not to play a game at the same time. Anti virus scans can often heavily utilize your hard disk, which can slow down the performance of other programs, including games (loading times especially).

  2. Don't worry, sometimes the UI likes to completely lock up and you usually have to restart the game. If it ever gets totally stuck you can just press ALT+F4 which should close the game almost immediately.

  3. Nice to see that complete lies are still being spread everywhere about this. I've never seen something blown completely out of proportion this much. This is a post to dispel any rumours that PWE have now purchased DE, purchased any shares in DE, somehow own/control DE, or otherwise influence DE in regards to the future of this game. Sigh. Here we go.

PWE does NOT have any shares in Digital Extremes. Let's just clarify that right now. Will they? Maybe. Do they? NO.

But what about that "contract" that we all saw? Well, let's take a look at it again.

Follow along with me. In this OFFICIAL DOCUMENT, it is stated that there is an INTENT to buy, and an INTENT to sell, the remaining shares of Digital Extremes. This is a PROPOSED INVESTMENT and it is a NON BINDING AGREEMENT. This means that Digital Extremes OR Perfect World can say no AT ANY TIME.

Just in case that isn't clear enough, let me quote the document itself!

"As of the date hereof, the Purchasers are conducting due diligence investigations over the affairs of Digital Extremes, and the Purchasers and the Vendors have not yet entered into any legally binding definitive agreement in relation to the Proposed Investment. "

    Isn't that funny?

Now let's relate this back to what Steve has said (which honestly should have cleared up any issues anybody had, but apparently people can't read properly).

    Dear Tenno,

You may have read something about the business development side of Digital Extremes and it may have you concerned. For legal reasons, we can't disclose specifics but if you know the history of Warframe you'd know that we are intent on having Warframe's design remain in the hands of Digital Extremes. Yes, opportunities will arise for us but the game itself is and will remain a labor of love.

    -Steve

"We are intent on having Warframe's design remain in the hands of Digital Extremes."

Please, for goodness sake people. Put two and two together and stop acting like doomsday has come. Obviously anything is possible, but if you actually just look at the information that is around you and take off your tin foil hats for half a nanosecond, you will see that it is highly unlikely that the future of Warframe is in jeopardy. Especially not after this insane backlash on the whole situation from us Tenno. I think DE get the message now. The "plat boycott" is just sad and immature, and just goes to show how little people will actually ensure they have the correct information about a given subject before jumping to conclusions. If you want to do that - that's fine, but don't go spreading downright lies on a subject that, really, nobody knows anything about other than what I've already supplied.

Unless I have foolishly missed some important information about the agreement somehow already going through (which would be pretty fast and highly unlikely), in which case, ignore my entire post.

  4. Intending to keep Warframe as it is isnt clearing anything.

No matter if DE intends to run Warframe as it is now, if that isnt defined in contract between DE and PWI, then that intent doesnt mean anything. I intent to rule the world as evil overlord, but it isnt going well at the moment.

Go and actually read what was originally posted about PW and DE, the non binding agreement. "Non-binding" is a dead giveaway here. DE have more than proven themselves as a development studio that knows what they are doing. Why anybody here thinks that they would just blindly walk into some arrangement that has them completely hand over the game, allowing development to shift to making the game completely pay2play/pay2win or whatever...that really saddens me, that you have this little faith in them. This many people in the community really doubt that DE has an understanding of what they want and how to prevent the loss of what they have? This many people truly think that DE doesn't have people PAID to ensure that what you are saying DOES NOT happen?

    Seriously??

They haven't entered into anything they can't get out of just by saying "no thanks". This whole ordeal has been completely blown out of the water from the very get-go, and nobody can deny that.

Now let's stop with the stupid conspiracy theories and get back to being Tenno. Thanks.

  5. Getting really tired of all this PW crap. Steve pretty much cleared up everything in the official response. I was extremely annoyed reading the livestream chat earlier on. Hoping that the people there just don't read forums and didn't know about the post yet.

It was even mentioned in the livestream by Steve, he said to go and look at the post.

    People.

Everything is fine. DE will be okay. They know what they are doing and will not relinquish any control of Warframe. Can we please stop with the bloody "PW" stuff?

  6. Your clan and alliance being silent is just your clan and alliance.

I can find plenty of players, try port forwarding or checking that your internet hasn't got any issues.

There's still hundreds of squads spread across the game, all hours of the day.

  7. Did you ever consider that these people might actually be there for a different purpose than you? Such as to get credits, or to quickly test a weapon or something, or even just to get solar map progression??

Did you ever consider that these people might not like a certain tileset, or faction, or did you think about the fact that some people might just be playing for "a quick game" before they have to go offline?

There's a second side to every story. Just because they're not playing the game YOUR way, does not make them stupid, OR noobs.
