I don't know that we need that but I do agree that overall each level feels less weighty than it used to and thats a problem. I think the next big update needs to add a passive skill tree to the leveling of Frames/Weapons.

Half the fun of playing this game is finding the mods, why would you ruin it?I suggest buying booster pack that doesn't have Rares. That is how I got mine.
-
Preach it OP, preach it!
-
I had a boss fight where the other guy bugged out, sitting there with some slow weapon and he keep vanishing once I get his shield down. Longest freakin' boss fight ever, but I killed him good.

Always was.I don't think volt got nerfed. I know Frost did though. My volt's range is nearly twice that of my frost's avalanche.
-
I know they were talking about that, but I have the feeling they have their hands full at the moment.

This DE is why you need a how-to guide on the front page; people don't read.

Platinum:
2100 Plat = $99.99 = 21 plat per dollar
1000 Plat = $49.99 = 20 plat per dollar
570 Plat = $29.99 = 19 plat per dollar
170 Plat = $9.99 = 17 plat per dollar
75 Plat = $4.99 = 15 plat per dollar
Founder Package
Grandmaster = 8875 Plat = $249.99 = 35.5 plat per dollar
Master = 3210 Plat = $99.99 = 32.1 plat per dollar
Hunter = 1220 Plat = $49.99 = 24.4 plat per dollar
Disciple = 370 Plat = $19.99 = 18.5 plat per dollar
Thus we can see on a purely plat based basis the best plat packages for your buck are as follows:
Grandmaster = 8875 Plat = $249.99 = 35.5 plat per dollar
Master = 3210 Plat = $99.99 = 32.1 plat per dollar
Hunter = 1220 Plat = $49.99 = 24.4 plat per dollar
2100 Plat = $99.99 = 21 plat per dollar
1000 Plat = $49.99 = 20 plat per dollar
570 Plat = $29.99 = 19 plat per dollar
Disciple = 370 = $19.99 = 18.5 plat per dollar
170 Plat = $9.99 = 17 plat per dollar
75 Plat = $4.99 = 15 plat per dollar
However, it goes without saying that buying plat is more than pure theory. Reality dictates that not every price point is achievable for every gamer. By which I mean to say, by necessity or desire not every gamer is capable of paying for the best plat rate or for any plat for that matter. Also of note is the Excalibur Prime set with a value of $5-10.
As always, it’s up to each gamer to work out their own budget and to stick to it religiously. Gamers can ill afford to forget what they can or can not spend per month on gaming. Note the US economy if you wish to understand the risk of overspending.

What about those big shurikens the ones that are used as a melee weapon rather than thrown a la Yuffie from FFVII.
-
I think its a visual bug rather than lost experience.

You know theres a stealth pet right?But I hate sentinals, they look stupid and make it impossible to play stealthily.
-
More like Volt and Mag stopped being so OP. Change your strategy to fit the War.

I have 100% multishot on that new pistol. It's basically a machine gun pistol with a very small clip. Every bullet I shoot equals two out the pipe. Essentially I just doubled my damage with one mod and I still can add a damage mod on top of that for a straight damage hike

Found 2 Health mods on Mercury as well.
-
Even with a controller I can lead fairly well, it takes more practice to master, just like RL, but it can be used in all sorts of ways. Frankly while the bow has a ton of weaknesses (clip, reload, fire rate), it is an outright beastly weapon right from the start.

There are no simple questions grasshopper.
Maybe, they won't wipe on purpose but a gamecrashing bug or the like might cause them to have to wipe.

Those sentinels are like playing with a second player, they aggro mobs off you, spot mobs you didn't see, kill the rolling grenades; love me some sentinels!

Sweet trailer by the way.

Yeah unlike the boltor you dont have to arc your shot as much, its fairly good long range.no problem. i been using it and its pretty good shot for far to very far range shots.

You can actually get a group going for non ? alerts now aha.
Thats the beauty of it, Mercury has returned as the best 'starter pack' of mod gathering. Hang around there get a few decent mods and make some credits. The rank them up and move on to the next group of levels.Tolstoj mission:
1200 credits
cronus blueprint worth 2500 credits
way more mods
one guarranteed mod from the boss
weak-&#! enemies
Alert mission:
variable amounts of credits
less mods
none guarranteed
can happen anywhere, including high level boss fights
happen more frequently but not constantly
So what's the point of alert missions again?

It just feels more refreshing.
It's something like this. Rather than going from being powerful, down to at the same power level as starting players [lvl1 = lvl30 without mods now...] it feels better to restart at level one, as apposed to your level 30 being the same as level one.
I'm fine with the new mod system, and balancing difficulty. No issues there, but the way the transition was executed is what bothers me. It could have been a bit more graceful imo.
Sure if they had a bigger team, weren't working on a PAX demo, and working on a Steam release. I think there's a bit of a sticker shock, but it should wear off with time. Get a shield or health mod, a few damage mods and you'll feel right as rain.
There's no real solution to running through content over and over again. The Devs have given us randomization to a point but it can't totally disguise old levels. STO has the foundry and maybe the Dev's will pull together something like that in the distant future, but its a lot of work for a small team. I'm not making excuses but I think your expectations have to be realistic.I haven't said, personally, that it's too hard. Just feels like, aside from credits that there really has been a reset. It would have been nice to feel like grinding before did some good, because at the moment that's not the case. The game didn't need to be more flashy, it's already one of the best looking games on the market. Running through things we already ran through countless times is a poor salve for the very fresh wound.
Some people had nearly 10 Million credits, an insane amount to most of us who had a few hundred thousand but that is what it is. No use being bitter that they played the game better than us. Frankly you don't really need to Max rank every mod, even a few ranks can mean a world of difference. There are a few good guides but the rule of thumb seems to be one or two rare mods, and then as many uncommons until the bump up stops being worth the price.I'll amuse you, troll. How big a pile of credits were you floating on? The 280 fusion mods I got would not have 'decked' out a single shield cap mod [halfway progress to get the final rank] and cost 840k.

Exactly, most of the people whining about Update 7 are the old hats, who were whining about it being too easy before. Are there real problems with the update, probably? But 'sucks', not a chance.

I think people are ignoring important facts. One, this game has a smaller overhead and thus needs less paying customers to survive. Two, one of the best selling games on Steam is APB and there are many similarities between that game and this one. Three, this game reminds alot of people of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer which is still popular a year after release. Four, FPS or TPS are popular on the PC. And lastly, this game doesn't have to be mainstream to survive, the people who will love this game are shooter fans and we all know how rabid shooter fans can get.

They said they had use, they do. They also said they'd be worth less, though I'm not sure if that was only the Design Council who heard that. Either way, if you have sold your mods then you'd be irritated that you had all that money but no mods.
Blueprints Have No Counter For Amount (They Do Now!)

No but once you've made an item from the blueprint there is no value in keeping BP's any further. As long as you have the item the BP makes you can just keep selling them.
