  1. I read through all these posts, and I've just come up with a great solution that would let volt keep his Sonic Infringement speed while still letting people use/opt out of it.

Listen to this: When you backflip out of Volt's Speed, You can no longer get buffed by it for the rest of the mission. I feel like this would be an amazing solution, sure it's still a little awkward for people who want to opt out, but they would only ever have to deal with the annoyance once. People who like it can keep going fast, people who hate it only have to worry about it once.

Vamp skin for Inaros? sandstorm turned into a swarm of bats? Sign me in. That would also be the first skin that alters abilities.

Doesn't the palatine skin alter the look of iron skin? that aside, I would definitely buy a vampire inaros skin, it would be so sick.

  3. The description for the Mars cephalon fragment has a spelling error.

Currently it reads: "These aging and severely eroded habitations miraculously remain intact, regardless of how much Grineer machinery has be fastened into it."

It should be: "These aging and severely eroded habitations miraculously remain intact, regardless of how much Grineer machinery has been fastened into it."

  4. I'd say they're good for new players who have very few mods as there are some good rare mods that drop pretty frequently in my experience. Once you get a decent collection however, their usefulness really falls off.

I wish they expanded these void "trial runs" to be more interesting, but that's another topic for another time.

  5. I mostly love the new starchart, but there are some flaws.

You really need to be able to select the normal mission type. Alerts/syndicates/invasions overwriting them is annoying and unhelpful.

On that note, I really think more attention should be drawn to nodes which have things going on at them. right now, all you get is a really dull grey/white icon. Maybe make a flashing boarder around a node which has stuff going on? (Yellow flashing for an alert, white flashing for a void fissure, grey flashing for invasions and flashing for syndicate missions could be the same color as their logo).

I haven't had a problem with the icon size in terms of clicking it, but I think special nodes like bosses and dark sectors could be bigger then other nodes, it would add more character.

Lastly, while I love idea of the junctions and they can be great for new players, some of the requirements to do them seem very off. One of the earth junctions for example, requires you to kill 3 eximus units on earth. Eximus units never spawn on normal earth missions, and this doesn't really teach new players. I recommend instead it being "Destroy 5 kubrow dens" This will let new players know that they can be destroyed and when they get the Howl of the Kubrow quest, they'll go "Oh, Kubrow dens? Those are on earth!"

All-in-All though, I love it because now it has a real sense of direction, which is great.

Edit: Also, I think the resources that drop on a planet should be displayed when you're looking at that planet. Having to mouse over the circle is very obscure.

  6. I would say getting all the mods is a must, especially the damage increasing weapon mods and the power R/S/D/E mods. As for modding, you can be pretty liberal with it, as there aren't many mods at all (The Archwings themselves only has 10, unless you count the primed one). Arch-gun and Arch-melee have 13 and 11, respectively with both having an event-exclusive mod. I would recommend for all archwings: Efficient transferal, Energy amplifier, Morphic transformer (The primed version), System reroute, Auxiliary Power, Enhanced Durability and Hyperion Thrusters.

You can just mod the arch-weapons the same way you mod normal weapons, damage increase, elementals and the like.

Edit: As for potatoes, you can install them if you have spares, but I recommend you use them for warframes and weapons you enjoy using first and foremost.

Yes I know for 700 plat

But why is that relevant? They are cosmetics, there is only 1 weapon between those two packs and it can be obtained in-game. There is no benefit to having cosmetics aside from the fact you have them. They're bragging rights. They're makeup. They're costumes. The only cosmetics that offer bonuses are the syndicate sigils, which can be only be obtained in-game and actually cannot be bought with platinum or traded.

Ok I'll elaborate on designs aren't available in game. Here are a few and don't hate me for this but you asked. Misa prime, never available in game only outside of game if you pair 130.00 dollars. The lack was overpriced to begin with. Second the hunhows bundle that's not available and so many players love that gear. Third old gear from Loki prime pack I believe it was called hulta gear. That all was never available unless you bought it. Even today there are things you have to purchase from the steam store

Those are all cosmetics, they don't affect the gameplay in any way. Also, the hunhows gift bundle and loki deluxe pack are still available in the market FYI.

I know my friends have gone broke on this game and they have regreted some of it. When you buy something in warframe it becomes obsolete and then you have to buy more. We are buying things like slots, and extra designs and packs that aren't available in gameplay.

I don't wanna be rude, but if someone, anyone bought themselves into poverty by spending money on ANY game, you simply cannot blame the game for that, it's their fault they have terrible spending habits.

Also, what do you mean by "Packs that aren't available in gameplay"? I can't seem to recall any non-cosmetic items in packs that are exclusive to buying those packs. Every weapon and frame in a pack can be earned in-game.

I do partially agree with you on slots. They really should be brought to the attention of new players in a tutorial or something. I don't think the prices need to be cheaper. I normally hate using the argument "Oh but you can obtain the premium currency through trading" but in warframe making 20p is so trivial that it's hard not to say it.

  10. DE has already said no to this many times.

As someone who is a collector/100%er/completionist in games and doesn't have it, I'm not really all that upset about it. They supported the game and are pretty much the reason it exists today, they deserve some skins and I call them that because that is basically what they are. Excalibur prime doesn't have any stat differences and the weapons are so bad that the buffs they have, while still a little strange, aren't problematic in any sense of the word.

That said, I wouldn't even say they are 100% exclusive to founders, As impractical a method this is, I'm serious when I say something like Make-a-Wish foundation could get DE to cough up those items to a non-founder.

    Can someone grammar check this?

  12. Are you talking about the napalms or the scorches? The scorches are fine where they are, their range is extremely limited to compensate for their insane damage.
Napalms would be fine, but the AOE of the fire they lay down is MUCH larger then the effect it creates. I wouldn't even mind the insane range on their AOE if the effect just properly showed it.
