"Not too sure on that one. Localized void storm, perchance?", the Volt said as he resumed his drink.

The Frost dashes to look out the window. "Damn..." He says as he watches a massive wave of void energy rippling way from the relay. "Replace "storm" with "Hurricane" and I'd say that's accurate."

-A Vauban walks into a bar, completely and utterly oblivious to the events for all of ten seconds.  When he finally notices, he steps back, a Lex Prime faintly making it's presence known on his hip-  "...Don't exactly suppose I walked in at a good time?"

"Yeah, things have gotten a bit chaotic here, but you shouldn't have to worry. Most of the madness has been self contained, for the most part." The Frost said calmly.

Silent as always, Fancy-Pants watches the strange way the Tenno interact with each other. He was fairly curious as to why they were acting like this; from what he remembered (as little as he did), Tenno were far less... dramatic. More camaraderie was involved - less quarreling with themselves.

Only now did he realized he had ignored a Tenno who was offering names to him. "Ah, apologies, I wasn't paying attention. I need a bit of time to see if I'll recall my name. If I don't, I'd rather have one of my own choosing anyways. Thank you for the suggestions, nonetheless."

Fancy-Pants turns to the Frost he had been conversing with, asking incredulously, "Is this a common thing amongst the Tenno now? Arguing with each other over little electronics?" He paused for a second, and then asked, "What is this 'pin-ball' anyways?"

"I'll be honest, I've never seen Tenno getting this bent out of shape over a Pin-ball machine. But hey, everyone's different. As for what Pin-ball is, you're just launching a ball-bearing across a glass and polymer case using two spring loaded paddles to earn points. Personally, I don't really play Pin-ball all that much."

Excalibur had been silently watching the exchange about super weaponry, mild amusement evident in his body language.

Excalibur looked over to the Frost, taking his attention off of the other Tenno. "A week back. He said that I've got a worse case of 'cryo-sleep blues' than usual. Atleast, that's what he called it." Excalibur moved a little uncomfortably, "I'm believing he was right."

Excalibur then watched in pure silence as a man in a "Limbo" Warframe "banished" the Frost he was conversing with. Excalibur's hand immediately moved towards his Skana, readying himself for a fight. In his mind, he was unsure of how to take this. I'd have expected an overreaction to involve a bit of yelling. Instead, he uses his own power on another Tenno, right in the middle of a place filled with Tenno. This guy is... strange, to say the least.

Although he heard the sound of the entrance to the bar open, he kept his attention focused entirely on Ma'iin -- that was, until the newcomer - another Limbo -- shouted him down. He picked up on his voice immediately - confusion was pretty much scribbled all over fancy-pants. He shot glances between both Limbos, and then watched as the Frost-voiced one left, only to re-emerge in the Frost Warframe.

He slowly moved his hand away from his Skana, before he quizzically asked, "What just happened?"

"That is how random some Tenno get." The Frost replied. "Don't worry. Stuff like this typically doesn't escalate beyond an inconvenience here on the Relay." He said coolly with a cheeky smile. "So, Excalibur, Fancy-Pants, Sensei. You've gotten a few names thrown at you today. Any one of them your real one?"

hmmm. i see. a most interesting response. i was, of course, just testing you to obtain additional data about tenno behavior. i'll un-banish your snowflake now. (un-banishes the frost)

Being unoccupied, the un-banished warframe crumples to the ground. the Green trimmed Limbo glares at Ma'iin for a moment, drags the empty suit to the restroom, and reemerges two minutes later, now wearing the Frost frame. He walks back to where he had been standing before.

"Well, whatever you to plan on making, if it involves a heavy amount of Omega Isotopes and Oxium, please keep it beyond the outer terminus. I don't want to be caught in the blast radius."

  6. Immediately, another Limbo, this time black with green trim, storms through the bar doors. "Really?" He shout's,"You couldn't even wait for an explanation?" His voice, it's the same as the recently banished Frost.

"I get the impression that he likes to help those who have recently been woken from their cryo-sleep. He'd probably never admit it, though."

The Frost gives the Excalibur Prime a friendly nudge."We'll, It should be interesting to see how these two and their super-weapon plans pan out." He says with a smirk on his face and a mild chuckle."But yeah, your friend, people like him, we definitely need more of 'em"  He shifts his stance. "So, Just how long ago did your buddy pull you out of Cryo?"

  8. 32 minutes ago, MrEvilMexican said:

"Excuse me sir, but that was rather rude don't you think? But this is true. Excalibur Prime is the rarest yet. I've only seen 7"

The Frost raised his hands in concession. "Fair enough."

  9. 3 hours ago, MrEvilMexican said:

"Ah sensei, I am pointing at the first primes. An Excalibur Prime is a very rare sight. Other than that, no. The Tenno still thrive in their thousands. Our ranks grow with every passing hour. I assume your memories have eroded away with the endless flow of time?"

"Who here hasn't lost a bit of themselves during cryo-sleep?" The Frost interjected. He turned back to the Excalibur. "He is right, though. The Excalibur Prime is an exceptionally rare frame. I've only seen one or two since I came out of stasis."

Excalibur looked at the Frost as he approached, and responded after he asked his question with some curiosity, "Um, yes. I was actually wondering why there were Corpus here. My friend said that they're one of our main enemies."

The Vauban sitting across from him seemed to not be paying much attention, instead taking great relief in gulping down his ice-cold water.

"They are. Which means one of two things: either a Perin sequence member just lost their cool, or we've got a breach in Relay security." The frost eyes the door before turning back to the Excalibur. "Hopefully, if they cause any more issues, someone will escort them off the relay."

  11. "Hey." The Frost Prime called to the Vauban and Excalibur Prime, walking up to their table. "Did either of you two see a girl and her Crewman entourage walk out of here?"

  12. A Frost Prime marches through the door. He's using the standard helmet, with the frame adorned with White and green. He takes a moment to order some grilled skate, and finds a booth near the back of the room, beginning to spread his equipment around the table.

  13. With the announcement that multishot mods will be re-balanced, and the heat that the "don't nerf" and "nerf" camps are throwing at each other, I thought I'd put in my two cents.

Being a relative newcomer to Warframe, the Split Chamber mod is something that gave me a bit of a foothold in the game at large; even with a weapon from the lower mastery ranks, I was still able to hold my own with the more veteran players, and not have to be revived every 45 seconds.

The main issue I'm seeing in re-balancing these mods isn't simply a pining for the easy path, but rather a fear of punishment; I have no issue with the devs trying to add more diversity to their game. What I do have an issue with is the potential for the devs to try and force this diversity onto us by dropping a sledge hammer on our heads. I understand the logic behinds adding increased ammo consumption to a mod that puts an extra bullet in the barrel, but if the cost of that extra bullet is 5o% of my ammo reserves, then the mod is punishing rather than balanced, especially if the weapon has a low ammo reserve.

If DE wants to go ahead with re-balancing multishot, then they need to be careful of not straying to far into punishing territory.

If were lucky, we'll see our mods be given a solid 15% to 25% reduction in reserve ammo.

If we're really lucky, we'll get mods with a 10% to 15% decrease in multishot chance, and have some corrupted mods that would boost the multishot chance, and add that level of ammo consumption that would get players to stop and think about their weapon balance.

And if we're unlucky, we'll get mods that have a 50% to 60% reduction in reserve ammo, or mods that will subtract the extra bullet(s) from the mag or reserve when fired. Personally, I don't know which one of those is worse.

That's just what I see happening. What about you guys?

Note: Just watched Mogamu's video on the subject, and he brings up some really good points. If you haven't already, go check it out.

  14. To Cephalon Cordylon:

Has there been any plan for Tenno utilization of the Zanuka Project or it's byproducts?

While the actions of Alad V have been abominable, there is no double that the use and manufacturing of these machines would make for an invaluable addition to our arsenal. Give our current capacity to manufacture Warframes, weapons, and sentinels, we could create these proxies without the need to sacrifice any of our own operatives.

  15. That would make it, in a sense, worse for those that can handle the speed.

A better idea would be that 1/2/3/4 of the hacking segments (wether Grineer or Corpus) are already solved when you start the hacking, which cannot be unhacked either (the hacking segments would have a different colour to clarify which ones). That way, on very easy puzzles (those with 4 segments or less), it would be a free cipher. On tough puzzles it would just be making the hacks closer to being done.

Why not set the Grineer puzzles to a lower level when someone with the mod equipped uses it? having the extra nodes just adds clutter to the screen.

  16. I mean having a queue for specific items that we need to build a lot of, like formae or fieldron. Set a few to build, maybe 5 or so, then they all build one after the other. There is no downside to adding this into the game.

People like to argue that it keeps people logging in, but if people are logging in just to set something else to build then logging out again, what's the point?

    Yes! Let there be batch-crafting!
