One thing to try next time this crops up is to verify your download cache.  On the launcherclick on the small gear icon in the top right corner.  Under the Download Cache heading click on "Verify".  If there is something that is corrupt in your cache, this will help to fix it.

Yes, it is a completely new language that we devised.  There are some similarities with English such as: "Hut's kle Tenno, aattaaff!" = "It's the Tenno, attack!" and "Faan out!" = "Fan out!".  Obviously their accent will differentiate it from traditional English.

 

The word for Attack! in Grineer is Aattaaff! which sounds close to English so that is probably what you guys are hearing.

[Grineer = Klingon]

Attack! = Aattaaff!

Destroy all Tenno! = Rentroy aass Tenno!

No activity to report = No aakkthuvhuty to greggort

Warframe spotted! = Rraarfraame spotter!
