Seriously.. we got a gazillion posts complaining, whining, begging, critiqueing and then the one post who looks at some positive sides you have to post this.. this... tripe in...

    What. Is. Wrong. With. You.

"Oh No, they say nice things... the white-knight-circle-jerkers!!! A positive post... can't have that!!! Ever!!! Nope!!!"

Incredible... yu guys really are some piece of work... SMH..

To OP: I raise my glass to you in salute!! (ME that bad?)

I like the part where you ignore the rest of my post where I went in depth talking about the things I think are done well.

RNG should stop gating the balance and power of this game. I feel Rivens were added to slip in a cash flow into the War Within because of gambling stimulating people with bad habits. I dislike rivens, and if frame rivens happen, I will most likely stop playing.

Are they really gating the balance of power though, considering that you can go and buy whichever you like from someone else?

  3. I tend to think criticism and focusing on the negative aspects of a game are more productive than circle-jerking over the good. Nothing will change if developers think everything is perfect. That being said Warframe does a lot of things right, so credit where credit is due.

Endo and Rivens were good additions in my eyes. One resource for ranking your mods eliminates confusion among new players on how fusion works, and simplifies the process. I see no real downside to it. Rivens added some crazy variety to the weapons I use. If you're buying Rivens for the best weapons in the game to eek out that little bit of extra damage, I think you're doing it wrong. By all means if that's how you prefer to play continue to do so, but my arsenal has expanded considerably since I started using non-endgame weapons with interesting Rivens, and I find that very enjoyable. I use a Miter now, and to great success. Enough said.

  4. I went into the Simulacrum today to test out a new Titania build. I equipped my Boar Prime with a Riven that gives it 151.8% fire rate. When I go into Razorwing, the Dex Pixia doesn't take this fire rate into account as it should. It seems to only work with mods that specifically increase fire rate like shotgun spazz or speed trigger for rifles. Is there a reason why Rivens don't seem to effect Warframe powers that take primary mods into account, or is this a bug?

  5. Try to get your hands on Primed Ravage and slap that on there with a crit build. If I recall correctly, the regular Hek will perform better on a pure damage build because of the multishot from the syndicate mod, but the Vaykor Hek edges it out slightly when built for crit in addition to having some quality of life improvements.

    C. The basic Bolter should not be as strong as it's counterparts, and neither should it's Riven's. If that becomes the case, why strive for a better version?

This exactly. There are weapons in this game that are direct upgrades of others. There is no reason to use the Boltor ever again once you have the Boltor Prime. The only disadvantage you have with the Boltor Prime is the fact that it doesn't have slash damage at all (but let's be honest if you're building the Boltor for slash you're doing it wrong). To allow inferior versions of weapons to perform as the superior version negates any reason to use the improved one aside from aesthetics.

  7. I think that after a full A,B,C rotation, there should be an additional reward for continuing. It could be endo, or an increased chance of something rare; whatever. Aside from personal glory there isn't a reason to go past that. As far as enemies go I think scaling credits and/or endo would be a good idea. +1% per level would be reasonable.

  8. First things first that text background is appallingly bad on the eyes. I almost didn't read all of your post because of it.

I like these ideas, but they ignore his pirate theme. The problem with tempest barrage is that the animations are too slow so it rarely hits things, and when it does the damage is lackluster. They could keep it the same, or make it toggleable as a pure CC weaker version of Ember's World on Fire, that serves to stagger nearby enemies. Tidal Surge would be nice if it synergized with his other powers, such as, being hit by Tidal Surge makes it so tentacles latch onto that target and thrash around quicker. Undertow is basically useless. The damage is pointless and the fact that Eximus powers still effect anybody standing nearby makes it a relative hindrance. I do think Tentacle Swarm should stay as it is, with reliability adjustments. As things are now it's his most useful ability with it's farming potential.

  9. I noticed this during the sortie today, and it was particularly annoying because I had my Scarab Swarm armor up as Inaros. I got knocked into the pit and lost it. If Ruk can be instantly defeated by forcing him into the pit then the pit should be fixed, and not just with an out of bounds zone.

Is it possible for the awesome programmers @ DE to add greater FOV options to WF? I mean something on par with ESO? I mean GTA 5 is STILL selling and it has 1st and 3rd person perspective options. I don't see why anyone would object. No one would be forced to use 1st person if it's optional.

Also conclave would be WAY more fun if hits to kill were low. Like 2 or 3 tags. Snowday was fun b/c of it, imo. Maybe there should be a Hardcore Conclave mode?

I'm always in favor of more options in games, but keep in mind Warframe isn't Call of Duty. A first person option would be cool, but ultimately in a game like this where cosmetics are such a big factor, people want to be able to see them. I wouldn't necessarily object to any of your suggestion, but I don't know if it fits Warframe.

This is because they don't have PBR, not because it was a choice. But it would certainly be cool to be able to choose tints. I think they've expressed interest in it, but I haven't heard of plans to implement it.

Maybe once all the frames have PBR, we'll get more options.

I had a feeling it had something to do with that, but I'll admit I don't know all of the details behind PBR, only that frames using it look excellent. I suppose this is a suggestion for the future then, and something I sincerely hope they implement.
