  1. I like it as a whole... but I think they really need to fix the helmet placement to make it compatible for those who want to use the original models/tennogen, it looks really bad as it is (some people may like it, but it still looks like no thought was put into the transitions)

The slightly higher shoulders make him taller, but equipping an alternate helmet just buries half the "face" into his neck in a very crude way, clipping through it and making him look like a scared turtle, or the cartoony result of getting crushed by a boulder.

And using the helmet skin on the default model is... just off. The way the entire head protrudes from inside his jacket is hilarious and makes him almost unrecognizable.

It'd be nice to see some adjustments, but I don't know if they would consider changes now that it's been released.

  2. The ingame FOV is certainly not helping with the size comparison of torso and legs, but it looks pretty decent. I think the head and shoulder relation looks a little off.

It could be improved with some slight posture changes tbh, the neck and head of the game model look way more aggresive because he's kind of bending forward unlike the concept ilustration. Also the arms look way thicker because of the Frost armor attachments, they are removable afaik.

There is a diference in proportions, but DE seems to use the frames default skeleton for deluxe skins, and the artist concept is more stylized than what the game "allows" so I can see it needing to be "squished"

That being said the actual model is really high quality, definitely some skilled work there. I'll wait to see it finished, but personally the idea of equiping a hammer and going all Robert Baratheon on enemy mobs sounds very enticing.

  3. I'm pretty certain there's a bug regarding host in terms of spawn numbers, nekros/hydriod/atlas chance to drop additional loot and armor degradation.

I just played a game hosting the smaller map where enemies were flooding every hallway nonstop, there were at least 7 or 8 unsued resources around everyone at all times and I was the only one that had to use the med station at the center. I played a fast nova, rest of the team was inaros, equinox and nekros.

Then I jumped into an already started game in the same map where everyone was running around looking for stuff to kill, like really, 1 enemy every 3 to 4 seconds, all points in red, the host was constantly dropping on the floor because there was nowhere to take cover while the rest of the team was at 100% armor at all times. This was with rhino, nekros and two novas.

    It's obvious there's something wrong.

  4. So, instead of reworking underperforming weapons or designing a set of purposefully created mods (like Sobek, Twin Basolk or even syndicate mods) we're given a new "system" (a random mishmash of stats and numbers) Then, if I'm getting this right, it turns out this puts stress on your databases, so you create a way to make us pay to solve this issue you introduced because you refused to work on the power disparity in the first place.

  5. Next patch notes

"We've heard the feedback, we removed exilus blueprints seeing as they can already be obtained through other means. We observed that recently active players have an average of only 9 Oberon Systems Blueprints in their inventories, starting next hotfix Oberon parts will enter the sorties rewards"

    :clem:

  6. Hm, I have a question about this (and possibly a bug report)

After scanning a kavat my scanner generally stops making them glow green, but during the first few days (before the increased chance hotfix) whenever I got a genetic code scan they'd glow a pale green-blue before going invisible again... I've just ran 3 ODE and got several pale green-blue glowing scans but no genetic codes from them, could this be a bug where we're supposed to get them but the game isn't registering it?
