people are going to find a way to hit the cap every day regardless. Thats why they put the cap on it in the first place.
The stealth nerf to stealth is very shocking. especially considering that people (even though cheesing) were actually starting to give more attention to that style of gameplay.
Thank clem I'm on console! i get to enjoy stealth+Ivara for hopefully a month or so.

as much as i love the idea, i'd probably never buy plat again.
The trade tab is so much of a deterrent, that I GLADLY buy plat from DE
From a player perspective, great. From DE's perspective.....quite risky.
The only way it makes sense to me is if they only allow purchased plat (and tradeable items/mods) to be used in the auction house. This place would overflow with P2W rage.

Frames I've bought: Mesa, Equinox, Vauban, Wukong, Ivara (soon), Nezha (soon)
If I could have done a test run, I would have never bothered with any except Vauban (and hopefully Ivara/Nezha).
So while it's a good idea IMO, they would lose too much money from people like me who dont want to grind TOO much for something they may not even like.

From the looks of it, it was kind of broken. Even though you have Trinity and Chroma doing the self-damage thing, theirs is duration-based.
Speaking of Chroma, I'm trying to figure out if you can still get energy from Rage while Vex Armor or Effigy is up. If not, that's a huge nerf

The grind was perfect before. But they've thoroughly increased it, while adding even more time-walls.
They had a good balance going, and now, I fear that they are going to lose a good amount of people due to burnout
Some people can grind for days for a part. Some do 10 runs and turn the game off (me). Just depends on your patience/tolerance I guess.
The grind was good enough before to where I could at least grind if I wanted to, now I pretty much have to buy plat, because I'm not patient enough to farm one node/mission type all day....or go through daily RNG rolls.

So you basically want your 5-forma Supra to function exactly like the Soma Prime, but you don't want it to be as good because you fear being labeled a Try-Hard.
But you're also mad at the fact that the Soma is better and that it's easier to obtain....I'm so confused by your salt

You know at it's core, this still IS a FREE TO PLAY game, right? These are tactics they use. However this is by far the best FTP game I've played that doesn't force you to keep playing.
Yes, it's a fantastic game. I've never spent as much time or money on any other game....this is a fact.
A perfect (good enough) balance of grind and RNG.
But the introduction of these timewall/grind tactics used by other F2P games feels cheap. And I, personally, am not a fan of it.
You're exactly right. No one is holding a gun to my head and forcing me to play Warframe.
I'm just sharing my opinion on how I currently feel about the game in a general discussion forum.

Chroma (grind wall, not too bad)
Mesa (the worst grind/RNG/time wall so far)
Equinox (too many parts, not THAT bad)
Atlas (quest/RNG for parts to build a part to finish the quest to have more RNG on drops/time wall)
Wukong (the dreaded nitain introduction)
Ivara (seems to be second worst behind Mesa so far....plus nitain)
Nezha (huge RNG/huge time wall)
I've spent hundreds on this game....I was going to buy the plat regardless because I HATE the trade chat. So that shouldn't even bother me.
But the direction things are going.....I don't know if I want to continue to support it. I don't want to feel like I HAVE to pay to enjoy the game, but having to play 40 sorties to get the parts to craft a frame that takes 3 days to craft? Meh.
Yeah, people are hoarding plat and money needs to be made. But whatever. It's free to play, so that's no excuse. I'll definitely buy one more round of plat once the big update drops on console, but I'm not sure how much longer I'll be playing. The grind has gotten pretty bad. And cheap at that.

Poor Mag. She has one ability worth using now. Although, it is great. She's the Corpus Saryn. I wonder how DE is going to "fix" her.
Speaking of which, reading the patch notes....was Chroma nerfed?
At the very least, Rage will still give you energy when Vex Armor/Effigy are up, correct?

Bombard rocket chased me through what had to be 3 rooms and two stories.
Bullet jumped into a nullifier spawn, turned around and got rekt.
Didn't log in for a week.

The entire concept of Nitain Extract - just a terrible idea all around. Also the fact that it has basically replaced other rare resources that used to be required to build frames/weapons....and of course - it is un-farmable.
If you log in to get just two nitain, but miss the alert - you might as well turn the game off - makes absolutely no sense, and is a detriment to all stakeholders.
But those prices in the stores, they can go F*** themselves for that..... I've paid less money for Freemium currencies in other free games as well and they offer waaaay more than what DE offers....
Yeah, they are pretty ridiculous on console.

Ash: used him a lot when i first started. still use him every now and then.
Atlas: meh, hype wore off
Banshee : mastery fodder
Chroma: main. i use him for just about anything because he's unkillable. vex armor/e-ward may be the best ability combo in the game
Ember : i use her on occasion. Exterminate/survival/Def/MD
Equinox : dont use at all
Excalibur : good with blind. I'm really enjoying bows now, so its good to practice. Plus i gave him a stalker look, so thats awesome
Frost : what else woiuld i be using him for? (Ice wave build is nice actually)
Hydroid : no
Limbo: hell no
Loki : when i want to be stealthy/explore/find caches
Mag corpus slaughter
Mesa: she's cool, just stopped using
Mirage: synoid simulor cheese
Nekros : farming.
Nova : interception queen
Nyx : i usually just use nova, but in super high level content, she's good for anything
Oberon : mastery
Rhino : he's fun. i use him every now and then. waiting for the re-work to drop on console
Saryn : got bored of the nuke. waiting for the rework to drop. I may use her a lot more often
Trinity : when i feel like making the team unstoppable
Valkyr : when i feel like making ME unstoppable
Vauban : infested
Volt : speed runs (mostly just use a speed-loki build now, though
Zephyr : tonkor cheese
