    Worth It To Go Back To Mr0?

    Well i started playing Warframe on PC. Got to MR2 at 50 hours played (being a newb that has no clue what to do in this game is part awesome part hell) then switched to PS4 because some of my friends played it on PS4 and i wanted to join them.

     

    But since then all of my friends moved on from Warframe while i was (and am) still hooked. I was debating with myself for a while if i should leave my MR12 PS4 account with loads and loads of stuff behind or if i stick to the in my opinion inferior version.

     

    So after prolonged fighting with myself i switched back to PC last week. Incidentially the day i switched i rolled a 50% plat discount and the weekend after all the premium skins became permanent (welcome back my beloved gersemi valkyr and nemesis nyx) and we got a double affinity weekend. So i just said "screw you real life i need to get my stuff back".

     

    Well i went from MR2 to MR9 (almost 10) by now, got all my premium skins back (and picked up the other ones) and got a decent selection of mods (getting back all those corrupted mods and leveling them up is gonna be a royal pain tho)

     

    The gameplay on PC is just so much better than on console so it was definitely worth the extra effort. Even tho i'm still leagues away from were i was on PS4.

    Interesting. I feel like I'm in the same place. All of my buddies have stopped playing due to the lack of consistent content.

    I guess I could try starting up a PC account and leveling when things are slow on console. Hopefully I'll land a plat discount in the meantime so I can land some of my mods back.

    I would have loved to play the second dream when it dropped. Waiting around for 5 weeks isn't fun at all. In fact, I've barely played now that I know how much better the game is now on another system. Guess I'll give it a shot

    So, I've put quite a bit of time into Warframe on console (MR16 nearly 17, most rare mods, all frames, several maxed primed mods).

    I've also spent HUNDREDS of dollars on plat (obviously).

    But my biggest flaw has reared its ugly head. My impatience.

    Watching the feedback/spoilers for U18 probably took it over the top (and use of the new app that just dropped for iOS). Hell, I don't even think we have the Chesa fix yet for console....so far behind in such a content driven game, two months since the last batch? I four-forma'd my Ignis 5 weeks ago in preparation.

    Now, that's not a complaint....as I said, I'm just ridiculously impatient. I'm aware that DE was/is focused on getting U18 out for us ASAP and we'll have a megaton of backlogged content.

    Anyway, for the PC folks - would you say it'd be worth the grind (and inevitable $) to make a PC account, join the master race, and dive back into those newb-infested waters just to level up all over again?

    And for the console folks - what do you think? Is it something you've ever considered to keep up?

    Atlas Frame, As A Concept

    He needs a defensive ability (something like chroma/rhino/Mesa/zephyr/etc). Yea, he has high armor, but he has no real way to use it so it scales.

    They should replace his 2 with something that's boosts his health or armor and can scale.

    Why does a brute need to hide behind cover?

    Then he'd be perfect.

    I'm good with it. We'll get a stable version without having to wait multiple weeks for fixes due to cert.

    I still don't understand the console wars thing. Both devices are capable of playing THIS game just fine. PC gets first dibs on content to test for the community, then the stable build is made, and it goes to console. The cycle works

    That being said, I plan on reading every single spoiler for this update because 4-6 weeks is just too long for me to hold steady with our current content.

    The guys that bring under 30 frames into T4 and hide in the secret room under the waterfall.

    When you forget to switch to solo for a spy mission, then someone comes in, sets off the alarm, and quits the mission

    As far as the newbs go, I don't mind. It's pretty fun helping them out. Chaotic instead of typical meta spam

    Honestly, Saryn needed the rework.

    If toxic lash gave innate damage reduction, it sounds like she'd be perfect.

    The worst nerf I've heard of was....well basically all of Mag's. At least shield polarize is still good.

    Line of sight on greedy pull? I don't even know why that needed to be done

    valkyr is obviously next. I hope they just make hysteria a damage reduction skill, since it has built in life steal
