I don't think this would be a good idea. They already have a mod for this. Having them being able to respawn up to 5 times would be overpowered.

A mod that only regenerates hp once in a game where missions can be endless is quite useless.

I suggested they be revived an unlimited amount of times, but with each death the respawn timer scales up.

So, at max, you'd wait around 5 entire minutes for your sentinel to respawn.

This would not be overpowered by any means, as it punishes you for being wreckless with your sentinel. Late game you'd be waiting a whole 5 mins to get back a companion that only serves as a utility.

It also adds a better contrast between sentinels and kubrows. If a kubrow's hp drops to zero it can be revived like any other living being in game, whilst if a sentinel dies it can be simply made again because it is a machine.

Its a farming game^^ You dont expect things to be easy, do you?

Thats why it feels good when you finally get that drop man.

I have no doubt it feels good when you finally get it, but I also know the intense frustration every other step of the way.

I'd be okay if Stalker was reliably farmable on a node or some type of event, but the fact you're blowing 200 ducats per attempt means you are losing something every single time with nothing to show for it.

With those facts considered, balancing out the drop rates of his original arsenal sounds pretty reasonable, doesnt it?

    Drop rates  are  fine.
If you cant farm it then buy whole set from Warframe marketplace.
I have personally got all drops from Stalker, it took me 1 month time to get it all and i was playing only void and collecting other prime sets.

Your personal experience does not apply to everyone. Ive heard tales of players not getting despair for a year or longer.

Buying the set isn't always an option either, considering most can't afford it.

So you're effectively stuck sinking ducats and time into a bunch of dreads (if the bp drops), or sinking hundreds of platinum that could've gone into the player market.

Personally, I think kubrows are stupid and don't fit in with the rest of the game, but since they aren't going anywhere, DE may as well make them relevant.

Kubrows are useless because of their bad AI, weak mods, melee only, bigger target than sentinels, meh damage, AND they don't have seperate mod slots for damage mods.

If reviving is the only reason you own a kubrow, lose the kubrow and get a sentinel.

I don't use them because of the upkeep. With stats that degrade if they are active I prefer to just keep them in stasis.

But hey, to each their own.

    Actually it does.

Kubro only benefit as of now is that it can be revived. Sentinel with it would make Kubro even more useless as it is.

Again, the respawn I proposed would scale up. At probably around 4 deaths, it would hit its cap of 5 minutes. Kubrows on the other hand could simply be revived when they go down with revival almost being a guarentee since they are always close to their master.

The changes you request for Obbys 3 are ridiculous, in all honesty. The revive is essentially what one of the Focus abilities is, and it already increases people's down timers.

Unairu's ability IIRC is essentially Atlas's petrify. And the increased timer is useless when it takes so much time to get to them, an increase in speed doesnt sound too ridiculous to me

  7. What if Hallowed ground worked like Nezha's fire walker? Stunning all enemies caught in the fire and dealing damage overtime.

What if Reckoning worked like shield polarize? imploding enemy armor dealing damage based on armor value

What if Renewal cleared all status effects, moved 3x faster, and instantly revived allies at 50% of their health and shields (with a small window of invulnerability so you wont be stuck in a death loop)

    Discuss.

  8.  After looking at the war within trailer, I noticed a distinct age difference between the "twin queens", despite the fact they are twins of the same face according to Kuria.

This has led me to believe that originally, one of them, or perhaps both of them, are clones. Not just a clone, but the clone of a tenno.

What leads me to believe this? Well, remember according to Kuria the orokin hated their "sameness", and since twins being born is a completely natural occurrence, the hate must be with the fact they are cloned, just like the grineer slaves.

Why do I think they are tenno? In sands of Inaros it is revealed Orokin "skymen" harvested children from a phobos colony, possibly to create more tenno by recreating the circumstances of the Zariman. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to believe that in their goal to create as much tenno as possible, one sought to instead clone a tenno, with all of their lowers intact.

Years after becoming queens, I believe the cloned queen died due to the shortened lifespan of the cloning process. Leaving one to recreate her sister, and raise them as the new queen. This would explain why there is such an age difference. But also since the recreation happens so rarely, the genetic degrading of the cloning process would happen a lot slower.

Did any of this make sense? xD

  9. I want to start off by saying I appreciate DE's efforts to make farming stalker and other assasins easier with the introduction of beacons at a reasonable 200 ducats.

However, shadow stalker's beacons at this current time are simply a hole to throw ducats in. With a majority of results ranging from dread, heavy impact, and argon crystals, it's very repetitive and unrewarding.

    I propose two options :

    1. Make blueprints drop 100% of the time, keep the drop chances for war, broken war, and schimitar engines, and divide the rest equally between stalker's original arsenal. This would give players variety in their results, continue making schimitar engines and war challenging to get, and allow players who have been plagued by RNG to reliably aquire his other two original weapons

    2. Keep the blueprint drop chance at 50%, but give all of his drops an equal chance of dropping. This option I wouldn't recommend, its just something i've been thinking about

Making the your efforts rewarding is a significant part of this game, so I implore you to consider these ideas.

  10. I simply dont get it. Early PC players had access to a founders program because it helped the developers get the money neccesary to develop the game and thats all well and good. China had a founders program to get players interested in the game and thats good too.

But what about consoles? I see no reason as to why there wasnt a founders program setup for those early console players.

When China's founders program was announced many thought it was fair because they had one too when the game started up. But consoles never got that chance, and it felt like console tenno were being neglected once again.

I think if the shurikens are markers, then they shouldn't do scaling damage, it's besides their purpose. Just because it's a special weapon, doesn't make it a must to scale if it's focus is marking. The main issue with this is that it rrestricts ash to line of sight, effectively nullifying a lot of his use. Another huge issue unaddressed here is the kill stealing. Ash players that spam bladestorm are hated because it makes it so no one else can hurt the targets. You've offered no solution for this huge issue which is one of the main culprits behind the need for a rework in the first place.

If they didnt do scaling damage you'd be a sitting duck doing no dmg if all clones are occupied. Restricting the assinations to 4 targets would nullify the kill stealing issue wouldnt it?

  12. Here is my idea to rework bladestorm, this idea is intended to be an actual rework (like excalibur) instead of a series of tweaks (like saryn)

First off when Bladestorm is activated you are equipped with exalted shuriken (placeholder name) and surrounded by 4 shadow clones very similarly to mirage.

The exalted shuriken use secondary mods but their primary purpose is to mark targets. Each shuriken thrown will cost a small bit of energy

When a target is marked a shadow clone is immediately dispatched to assasinate them (triggering the regular bladestorm animations) and will continue attacking until the target is dead. You can only have 4 targets being attacked at once, one per clone, and your shurikens will not mark a new target until a clone is available.

I believe this would make the ability much more hands on than it is now. However, im not entirely sure how good such a change like this would be. So what do you guys think?

Yeah, let all the newbies stick with mk-1 weapons till MR 12 and then refuse to play with them as they are too weak. Pride of veterans 10/10

    you must be joking xD

I believe if two players put the same amount of effort to get an item, they should be able to use it, regardless of MR.

The problem for me isn't MR limitation, but the simple fact that it is way better than anything x)

I love the Penta Secura, but I have to play it with Wukong if I want some safe gameplay. But the Tonkor is still better, and it's not normal imo

They really need to remove the self damage aspect of explosives, its the primary reason I used tonkor as much as I did.

who knows I might've used secura penta at this point if it didnt kill me every 3 seconds

Let's be honest here. How many weapons in the game are just Masteryfodder and cobsidered useless by everyone? Pretty many.

How many weapons are actually used by the majority?  Very few.

Is it bot better to make weapons serve a purpose other than MR-points?

you'd still just be mastering them to progress to a much better weapon. only difference is that it would restrict you in what weapons you need to master to obtain it

Aren't the resource-gathering roadblocks enough? I think Mastery should be Rank among the Tenno indtead and give bonuses and MR only rewards.

I much rather have weapon-progression where you need to Max a certain weapon to unlock a new one above it.

Say I use and master Penta. Then I can get the Tonkor, like a tree for weapons.

This would encourage using weapons of a certain family, like bows, if that's ny thing.

its already like that in a way, instead it doesn't restrict the weapons you can use. Just master enough items and you can progress to the ones locked behind a rank
