["I am Rhino." - Another short fiction.]

I am Rhino.

I stand, the thrum of motors and maglifts pushing the elevator ever upwards. My eyes remain focused on the door, perhaps past it as I think of my task ahead. Hundreds of our enemy rest in this floating citadel to the old machine gods. The growl and hiss of Corpus soldiers mix with the metallic stomping of their Moa weapons platforms. None of it shakes my resolve. I can hear the thundering of adrenaline in my stomach and the rise and fall of my shoulders as I breathe in excitement. The Gorgon in my hands feels ready as well.

She never lets me down.

The elevator comes to a stop and my companions move a step back, raising their weapons as I move in an opposite motion and come to the front of the line. My Gorgon raised; its barrel still warm from the usage earlier, but still thirsty for the synthetic blood of our targets.

A hiss. A pop of seals breaking and the door opens. Beyond the edge of the elevator lay more of the synthetic-worshipping idolaters of blind faith. They did not expect to see us and without pity or remorse, I activate the damage reduction skin of my Warframe and lift my instrument of destruction. The glowing layer of energy covers me in a hide of comforting warmth, cooing softly to my flesh. Their weapons bounce off my skin like stones against a great aegis; the contact provoking a spike in my adrenaline, almost making me smile - were it not for the grave nature of our mission.

I am a rock and they break upon me like waves.

When my Gorgon opens fire, I am greeted with my destiny; I am the destroyer, the song of the end – The march of inevitability.

I will probably do a couple more for some other 'Frames. I kind of like the idea of the Tenno being dedicated, monk-like warriors who take every stride in battle as a war in an of itself. Always acting with purpose, never with abandon. The warrior-monk thought patterns seem to go with the setting as well as the imagry of the 'Frame sitting in seiza during the title screens etc.

I am Ash.

I breathe. The feeling of life fills my lungs as I take it in and focus; how the air diffuses and separates, entering my body to power my muscles and control my grip. To my side, I hear the thunderous roar of my companions Gorgon. The sound moves through the air and drums on my ears via the auditory relays in my helm. As I exhale, the blade in my hand arcs out with my arm and at the final, climatic loosing of air, I see the shimmering, silver flash carve deeply through the thin slits in my enemy’s armor. His pale, augmented flesh parts like silk.

He falls; two chunks of meat leaving each other like a dance of crimson and blurred metal as my blade finishes its arc and returns to my side, purging itself of the liquid ruby so it may strike again.

His death gurgle leaves a tingling... perhaps, a just sense of satisfaction behind.

To my side, my compatriots silently consider the next course of action. We are a quiet people; the Tenno, We consider and judge and evaluate. I can almost feel the thoughts of the Rhino, eager to break his foes against the crucible that is his body. The Trinity waits; passionately dedicated to her cause and her team - our foundation in times of trial. It is the Excalibur that finally takes the lead, moving us on towards our objective, guided by the Lotus.

I consider nothing.

When the enemy comes to us again, I will know what I must do.

That could also be indicitive of a problem with your HD or Memory rather than the game. If your memory fried out then you would not be able to boot and it would - of course - crash anything running. You may want to try downloading a version of Puppy Linux on a disk and use it's diagnostic tools to see if your memory and hard drive are working correctly. Easiest and cheapest way to diagnose an issue, as long as you can get someone to download and burn the image for you.

[Ash 'Fisheye' bug when using Bladestorm [Screenies Inc.]]

Hey guys,

So I was doing a solo extermination and got to a big juicy set of Infected to use bladestorm on. When I was using it, the power suddenly stopped, but the Fisheye effect lens was still going. After running about, I discovered I could return the camera to normal when zooming, but when zoomed out, it would return to fisheye lens again.

During this bug, I was unable to use either my Melee or Powers, but could still fire weapons just fine. Managed to complete the mission with some navigational difficulty (try spriting with that lens on!) and it's stopped. Here are some screenshots for you guys!

Note: on the first one, you will see the error 'Power in Use' at the top.

Occasionally, the Gorgon will show the right color in game for me, but the people in my clan who play with me still see it as green. Occasionally it will also appear green for me, even though it appear correct in the arsenal screen.
