  1. Most sentinel weapons have terrible spread despite the stats card stating 100 accuracy.

Stinger, burst laser, laser rifle all stated with 100 accuracy while in reality their accuracy is more akin to the Supra's.

The accuracy stat has meaning. It can be clearly seen when you slot heavy caliber on your weapon. The accuracy goes down and the spread goes up. The problem is 100 accuracy on 1 weapon is not the same as 100 accuracy on another. Each weapon seems to have a hidden spread modifier.

Many people argue the 50 accuracy on the boltor p is meaningless and that the telos boltor is just as accurate with its accuracy stat being 25, well that myth has been thoroughly busted in several threads including vids and pics but still people cling to it. In the case of the telos boltor vs the boltor p there is a clear correlation between the accuracy stats. BUT as I said before each weapon family seems to have their own hidden spread modifier (example Miter). As to why that is, only DE knows, it sure as hell is not helpful to keep it the way it is.

  2. Terrible precedence, extremely terrible precedence that is created here, while the current selection of conclave mods might be more gimmick orientated, other mods might receive the same treatment and future mods might become mandatory. Content that can be used must be obtainable in the same game mode. Imagine if pvp mods could be obtained in pve, what would you people say then? No Teshin advancement necessary, just grind draco or something and you will get them anyways? I think you people would be quite pissed.

The only guys who are in favor are those who smell new ways of making plat which actually puts a whole portion of the WF community at a disadvantage, namely the ones who do not want to pvp and then are forced to spend plat (if the meta changes and I am pretty sure the meta will change). For now it does not seem like a problem but this can change pretty quickly just like DE does another 180.

It is also a terrible precedence in terms of DE going back on their word completely to keep pve and pvp completely separated. That is a betrayal of trust, plain and simple!

They can easily introduce new mods that are based on the pvp ones with slight variations and inject them into pve while removing some completely obsolete ones. This is just a very cheap way to handle the mod diversity problem.

Redo the old and useless mods! Replace them with others inspired from those pvp mods but not just copy paste them. Keep pve and pvp separated as you have once promised.

Start going back on things like that and people will lose (even more) trust.

  3.

    Changes:

    • The following Conclave Mods can now be used in PvE:
      • Reflex Draw / Twitch / Soft Hands (Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun) - Increased Holster/Draw speed.
      • Spry Sights / Agile Aim / Snap Shot (Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun) - Increased movement speed when aiming down sights.
      • Air Recon / Overview / Broad Eye (Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun) - increased FoV when Aim Gliding
      • Eject Magazine / Tactical Reload / Lock and Load (Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun) - weapons reload while holstered.
      • Gun Glide / Double-Barrel Drift / Strafing Slide (Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun) - Increased accuracy and reduced recoil while sliding.
      • Spring Loaded Broadhead (Daikyu) - Increased damage after the projectile has traveled 20m.

    And so it begins......

  4. Seems more like a troll then to actually do that act.

But who knows in this day in age.

Google it and you will find several sites selling plat at half the rates DE is asking for it  Gold/plat sellers should be instantly banned.

Now you people also know why some guys fight the idea of an auction house tooth and nail, since it would lower their profit margin.

Do you really need a list of "end game" viable weapons? Spontaneously I can think of plenty, Dread, Paris P, (Vaykor) Hek/Marelok, Sancti Tigris, Tonbo, Tonkor, D Nikana, Jat Kittag, etc etc   Maybe it would help if you would try some sometimes. Some of them are pretty recent additions.

  6. He is ignoring you, it is done based on the persons decision, why does it bother you and why does it have to be regulated. It is also no abuse, since it is a sanction done by someone upon themselves so you can hardly call it abuse. If it would affect you directly you could argue but other than that if someone CHOOSES to ignore you it is their god damn right, he can invalidate that ignore any time.

Toxic isolation? No it enables players to get rid of people they do not want to talk to or do not want to be bothered by, as it is their god given right. Who is the toxic/fascist guy here I have to ask?

Sadly the forums do not have an ignore function or a down vote function.....

  7. Terrible idea since it leads to even more elitism, forced mainstream builds and less diversity and fun. If you want to play squad hitler you are free to do so with your friends and clan mates and force them to submit their builds beforehand. As a general game feature I absolutely reject your proposal.

Have you seen recruitment chat lately, no matter what its EV Trinity, Nova, Frost, Mesa. It is as if people were unaware how to play ANY game content without at least 3 of those 4. I guess that is the seed of draco. Any measures that lead to more elitism and dung flinging in chat need to get avoided.

  8. Just talk for yourself. I like the mechanic.

Or maybe you are not smart enough to understand this. If you want to use the Twin Basolk, you can do so as soon as you are Mr3. You just have to buy them with platinum.

If you want to build them, you have to wait until Mr4 because of the Atomos.

It's not that hard to understand...

The only point that is kinda right.

But then again there are a S#&$ ton of weapons that are just garbage.

  9. A flame thrower should set stuff on fire, that is its purpose if it fails to do so it is no flame thrower, period!

DE could have given the Ignis the same treatment as the Sonicor, 100% guaranteed ignite proc. The Ignis is still no flame thrower but rather a heat wave projector.

  10. 2.5X the shots needed to do the same damage as the marelok's base, also it does not fully benefit from rof increasing mods due to the hard cap of 10 r/s of semi-auto weapons, while having heavy recoil and low accuracy. So, despite the similar dps capable that is where the similarities stop.

They are at best good, but from the change of the akvasto's low recoil high accuracy 50 damage per shot, 12 round mag and 1.8 second reload to the high recoil low accuracy, 60 damage, 24 mag and 2.4 second reload is pretty devastating.

Also the akjagara is still the most expensive weapon in the game to make at 210k credits and a minimum 48 hour build time compared to the 36 of the basolk.

However, most of the problems I have with the akjagara stem from the recoil, if they toned it down to the akvasto levels or slightly higher, I would put them on a much higher pedestal.

Then again my current side arm is the kulstar with no hornet strike, but has pistol ammo mutation at rank 2. The thing is a status chance monster that is a never ending cascade of corrosion and blast procs. It is my favorite CC weapon for a secondary right now.

Why would you use a Kulstar or ANY secondary  WITHOUT Hornet strike and with a rank 2 ammo mutation??

  11. Sigh.

Primary and secondary weapons simply do not have enough mod capacity to use all eight mod slots without a Forma anyways unless you are deliberately using severely under-leveled mods. As such, there is no harm in leaving the D-polarity mod slot blank because you are going to end up with at least one blank mod slot anyways.

When you finally get around to using Formas on your equipment, there is no difference between applying the first Forma to an unpolarized slot and applying the first Forma to a D-polarity slot. In both cases, you are giving a use to a previously unused mod slot. It doesn't matter what the slot used to be because you weren't previously using it.

It doesn't hurt you at all for the D-polarity slot to exist. It didn't cost you anything to put it there; it doesn't cost you to anything to leave it there; it won't cost you anything extra to trade it out for something that you will use.

  12. Hind is badass, it wipes out mobs once you get used to sweeping it, and annihilates single targets.

I play this game casually and find all sorts of neat uses for weapons, i dont know whats wrong with everyone else.

Radio: " Attention please, there is a wrong way driver on the M1, be advised and exercise caution!"

A certain tenno: "A wrong way driver, not one, hundreds!!!"

  13. Akjagaras and Ripkas are freaking sweet. This whole thread is invalid.

Aren´t you the dude that thinks the Hind is pretty bad ! as well?

Pretty brazen to assume a thread to be invalid purely based on your personal opinion.

  14. It tends to zig-zag. Before the Twin Basolk, we had the Spira and Ninkondi, which were pretty cheap. Before those two, we had the Ripkas, which were pretty "expensive" (required Ankyros and Dual Cleavers, plus Forma)

And now striding in style the twin ballsacks are just as meh as the Ripkas probably even worse due to the dual stances being pretty blant....

IF something requires considerably more resources it should have something amazing to show for, so far all the "expensive" weapons lack that feat, they are mediocre for the most part but not even a straight upgrade to the parts they were using. The only exception is probably the Tipido.

There is little logic behind the weapons consumed to build the new ones.
