I just met someone who insisted that we trade over at Maroo's Bazaar instead of my dojo.

...I think I haven't been there for 10 months or so, until I did so today.

The place was super crowed and confusing, I hope I never have to go back there again...

You have to go there to get the ayatan treasures though, free endo, man.

So, the idea is that while the Tenno are extremely strong they are severely outnumbered, hence why we can kill hundreds of them in a single mission without denting their overall numbers. This is why they operate in small cells using hit and run tactics. A direct confrontation would likely result in the Tenno being overwhelmed and losing a war of attrition

idk man, Limbo + Tigris and he'll survive forever in the rift while killing anyone he banishes. So take a small group of Limbos and they'll eradicate everyone.

  3. From what I understand is that we want to preserve "balance" in the system, but that seems like a stupid and naive thing for the Lotus to preach. If the Corpus and Grineer are so bad, just eradicate them all and let the syndicates run the solar system, or the tenno for that matter. There's literally no point in keeping balance with power consuming warlords.

They'll just move it back to this thread, maybe temporarily lock this thread again. You won't get warning points or anything, they'll just keep ignoring you and anyone who agrees with you. DE are not interested in talking about this. They're done.

When I contacted a mod about why the thread I made specifically for the feedback section was merged back into this "megathread", they said that it'd be hard for DE not to notice the 100+ page forum thread. And that because this was the "original" thread and posted in GD they are all merging it here instead of to feedback.

Additional arguments - to be added, your help would be greatly appreciated, even probably necesary since I am really out of it at the moment

Q: Why can't people simply bypass the grinding by buying Hema with platinum? If you don't want to buy platinum with real money from DE, you could simply trade for it with other players.

A: Whether platinum was bought with real money or obtained by trading with other players, purchasing Hema would still be a purchase made with platinum. The platinum has to be bought with real money by someone, even if it's not you. If it seems that people are making more purchases with platinum to bypass the grinding for Hema, D.E may be encouraged to continue introducing other weapons with unreasonable research requirements in the future. If such research requirements become the norm, clan research would become obsolete to many players, simply because it would be much more practical to buy or trade for platinum to obtain the items rather than actually researching for the items.

Maybe also explicitly add to this point that when it becomes the norm to trade/buy plat for new weapons with unreasonably high costs/grind, Warframe becomes P2W not F2P

Which makes me think, I am getting tired with these tight and tubular map designs in general even without using Zephyr (my favorite Warframe atm) Would be nice to have more wide and open maps.

Doubt there's enough momentum here to enact change, but oh well

Warframe is 100% free to play only if your time has no value. If your time does have value, then you need to ask yourself why you're turning a leisure activity into a chore. Play what's fun. If you want Nidus, buy or trade for him. Do the things that are actually enjoyable.

It's a bit different when you have literally 99% of all items and warframes...

Equinox parts are a guaranteed drop even if it's the wrong part, the mission can be done fairly quickly, and I could happily listen to Tyl Regor's voicelines for hours on end.

Salvage on the other hand is a good 20 minutes or so of utter tedium for just a chance at a part.

Best part is, it's not even a prime warframe! I've honestly farmed full prime sets faster than I have Nidus

You know that when you lose at a slot machine you get absolutely nothing, right? Not even 80 endo.

Yeah but the psychology about slot machines are that you are always sitting in a position to see someone else win which makes you feel like you might be next. The point being is that it doesn't make you feel like sh*t like these fodder C rewards do.

50% of the Warframe population will get Nidus in 18 rotation C's.

I personally got mine in 23, which around 63% of people will get him by then.

Is that bad? Sort of, when this is theoretically supposed to be equivalent to buying the frame outright it actually seems fair, but pushing the boundaries.

18 rotation C's is still SUPER draining and leaves the player feeling dead inside.

  11. While RNG may be RNG, why frustrate your player base by diluting the drop tables of a NORMAL frame. And to add make it diluted with absolute fodder C rewards that make you feel like you're going nowhere. One of the key things about F2P games is that it's just like the lottery when it comes to grinding, how many people would play the slot machines in Vegas if every time they didn't get the jackpot the machine told them "Haha you lose! Sucks to be you! I just took your time and money! LOL!". Psychologically to keep people playing you need to have that "I think I'm gonna get it! I feel super close!" not "I just spent over 20 minutes and all I got was 80 endo? Why am I even playing this game?"

  12. I've done infested salvage so much, I think I'm actually dying. I've gotten 13 metal auger mods, and 7 Nidus systems, then a bunch of other crap like 80 endo, but no other Nidus parts. This mission is so draining and it feels like I'm making no progress at all. I get depressed whenever I find out that I got some useless "stretch" mod or 80 endo from a C reward. I could have gone to Heiracon and on rotation A got 400 endo.

In all honesty, farming for Equinox and Ash were more bearable than this. And I refuse to use plat to pay for a nonprime warframe!

Send.... Help.... Will to live and play this game... Fading *dies on keyboard*

  13. One trend I've noticed recently is the ceiling cap continuously being lowered in many tile sets. The cap being that when you get too high you get the black screen and are teleported back to the ground. This makes it nearly impossible for Zephyr to actually do anything (or any other frames that enjoy exploring like myself). It's really much of a bandaid fix rather than making sure there are no holes in, let's say, the Corpus ship maps. And even then finding holes is always a fun task for me that keeps me distracted from the grind and playing longer.

tl;dr: My suggestion is to remove those auto teleport roof caps and just let people explore and use Zephyr.
