Also the new thread we made in the feedback section (because that one was mysteriously moved to GD) got vacuumed into that same GD thread before it got locked. So the entire discussion got shut down. Whatever mod moved the thread does NOT want us in the feedback section, which is super sketchy imo.

I messaged 2 mods about trying to move it back as it was inappropriately merged, but one flat out ignored me and the other has yet to read my message. A+ fam

  2. Warrior if there was an appropriate endgame that required super endgame gear and mods to complete. Raids were kind of a step in the right direction except that cheese tactics are the only efficient way to do them, so not really.

I believe there is an annoying, but functional workaround to these ridiculous requirements.

    1. Drop your clan tier to Ghost, keeping only your most active players.
    2. Pay the research costs
    3. Once research is complete (or maybe just in progress) rebuild the barracks, upgrade back to your original size
    4. Reinvite all the members you had to kick out.

The cost of each barracks is Credits, Alloy Plate, Ferrite, Rubedo, and a Forma.  Quite cheap.

The members have to rebuild their clan key, which takes 12 hours, and each barracks takes ? 24 ? hours ...

The whole process could be done in a few days (certainly less than a week), and most of the inactive players would just need to rebuild their key.

This is much much cheaper platinum-wise than buying Hema, and while mutagen samples require everyone to pay the time cost, this method only requires the clan to be 'under reconstruction' for a few days and most of the clan doesn't need to worry about 12 hours grinding mutagen samples.

But we shouldn't have to "cheese" the system like this to make the research attainable

If they do not wish the cost lowered, I suggest the Hema be moved (with high costs and all) to be a market only item instead of a clan dojo research, at least like that we got a clear option to buy it with platinum.

Right now, even if ,(from my perspective) I bought it with platinum, I would still have to grind needlessly to help my fellow clan mates (those that are active and the future to come).

And that way the production costs should be based off of what an individual can acquire, and not some assumed group of active people which don't exist.

  5. I guess to sum all the 90+ pages up, the general consensus is that this imposed resource sink is based off of flawed ideas. Ideas being that all clans are 100% active and participating. There's also a lot of frustration and anger because DE stated a while ago that they did not want to continue pulling these types of resource stunts, which makes everyone feel lied to. And last thing to come to me mind (other than this ludicrous amount of mutagen samples, which will be nearly impossible for moon clans to do, let alone ghost clans), is that it seems like a major cash grabbing scheme. Doesn't seem like DE is really in the Christmas giving spirit, eh?  Did I miss anything?

...I don't think whoever decided this amount of resource for a weapon could possibly have good intentions towards the community, but i understand DE is running on minimum staff for the holidays, so maybe some evil-doer might have taken this opportunity to sneak into DE headquarters and did their best to make as many players ragequit and burn out as they could at once.

Given this possibility, i'm ready to give DE the benefit of the doubt as long as they reinforce their security and fix the ridiculous research pricing down to an acceptable amount. Like 5000 -> 50 at most. It already takes hours to gather this amount of resources and the only way to do so is by killing low level infested, which gets boring after about 1,49 seconds on average.

By the way, (because i can't really just post without bringing new information to the table), i'm a solo player who created a 1-man clan because i wanted to get all the gear knowing i wouldn't be consistently active enough to be in a bigger clan. I take pride in gathering more resources than i should to get my gear, but i feel like i shouldn't explain how farming for YEARS (as some have made the math before) for a single weapon is ridiculous.

Nope, DE even confirmed that this was intentional.

digital extreme/DE is not a nonprofit organization (NPO), in addition of saying what you don't like in this game, say what you would like to see in this game and perhaps pay for.

it's a mistake to even make riven mods tradeable in the first place, stop buying/selling riven if you want riven mods to become what it's supposed to be: a rebalance to outdated weaponry

How is DE an NPO? I've spent more money on this game (prime access) than I would an entire year for a World of Warcraft subscription.

  8. Yeah, I'll retry once I've calmed down a bit, I'm just sick of losing all my credits for stupid reasons (half a million so far). Especially the last time because Nef Anyo had to of cheated since nothing there should be able to kill a full health Inaros in one hit.

    Want to win? Easy.
    1) Pick Rhino
    2)Start Mission (solo)
3)Grab energy orb and use stone skin
4)Kill enemies and gain up to 9 points
    5)Defend till time expires
    6)Repeat.
    You can do this right?

I was doing that with Inaros which is the same thing, but the game cheats

  10. Does anyone enjoy losing half a million credits for a quest? Because I'm getting really sick of the Index at this point, and I just need to vent.

I'm at the part in the quest where I need to win the Index by "a narrow margin", and every time I go to play, this quest fucks me over and out of my credits. I've played this portion of the quest 3 times and lost all those times for sheer stupidity of this quest and its mechanics. One of those times it was because with 20 seconds left on the clock of round 3 my random squad mate decided to turn in 20 index points when we were already 9 points ahead! So we lost that match of course, and even after technically "winning" the game, still lost all my damn credits. The other time, I decided to go at it solo because I didn't want anyone else messing up this game for me, but oh wait, Nef Anyo is a cheater, what fun. Again, with around 20 seconds on the clock and 5 points ahead, my full health Inaros instantly dies for no apparent reason and Nef Anyo's team scores @(*()$ 15 points in the 4 seconds that I'm dead. So I go frantically trying to get all the points I can in the 20 seconds and come up 1 index point short.

I've played a total of 18 god damn rounds of this @(*()$ Index, not including all the times I did it before when it was an event. Screw this quest, I'm sick of losing credits by playing the same damn game mode mission after mission after mission, who thought this would be @(*()$ fun??

The thing is when we start adding mods to improve health and whatnot it defeats the purpose of having a warframe. In a game called Warframe.

IMO the operators are not meant to see combat and should only be used to perform the smaller tasks like we currently have. In my opinion atleast.

I'm not saying they should be on level with the warframes, I'm just saying I think they should get small and cool upgrades to make it a bit more fun (speed, the ability to crouch, small health boosts, nothing game breaking)

  12. I really like playing as my tenno during missions, I like to go to Earth and do the whole thing as just my tenno, which got me thinking. I think it'd be really fun to add tenno upgrades such as: upgrade to move speed, upgrade to health, increase total energy pool of tenno, damage, and other things. That way playing as your tenno would be doable and a partially viable option to use during missions. And you could upgrade your stats by using things such as focus points, or something like that.

My other idea is to have the focus tree that we have selected impact the abilities our tenno can use, while in the tenno form. So if you have Vazarin equipped your beam attack could also heal allies, or Zenurik and give allies energy.
