  1. This thread comes across as elitist (and a touch arrogant). This is primarily a PVE focused game, so lets ignore the PVP elements for now. It is a game (not a contest or competition), people play for fun. If someone's idea of fun is running around blowing things up with a tonkor, that doesn't hurt you (and you don't have the right to deny them that fun). Use it or do not - each person can decide for themselves. I love the variety of weapons in this game.

P.S. I love the variety of weapons in this game.

  3. Thanks, I didn't know the order of mod placement made any difference.

I like the original post idea, having a clear defined role for each kubrow type - attach or fetch (resupply).

Perhaps some of the kubrow mods could be updated so that they could be placed on more than one type of kubrow (to a limited extent): e.g. Dig on a Chesa or Sahasa.

  4. Thanks for the reply. But the next planet is Uranus which is level 21-37. Sedna itself is level 16-32. The last arenas you mentioned are at a much higher level. I doubt someone new (like myself) who has just got to Sedna will last long in the later arenas. That leaves the first one giving you 1 point. Yes is a grind.

  5. I'm fairly new, made my way to Sedna, and can handle the content at that level. But now with the requirement for Judgement points to unlock the next planet, my progress has come to a grinding halt. I don't want any of the Rathuum rewards, just want to get to the next planet. As I don't have any interest in grinding the 100 points required, I don't see much point in continuing this game. Is there another way to progress through the star chart? Any advice?

Welcome!  I hope you continue to have fun.  :)

    1. Putting previous Prime equipment in the vault removes it from the drop tables, meaning that there's less crowding on them.  If you were trying to get a single item, and no Prime had ever been vaulted, your chances of getting that single item would be considerably lower than they are now (in theory; it's still fairly low, though).

    2. An exchange or auction house is very much desired by a fair number of players, if the forums are to be believed.  Personally, I'd like to see one as well.  While you wait and hope for the next patch to add this functionality, your next best bet is most likely http://warframe.market - while not a Digital Extremes site, it's fairly commonly used and should give you a fair idea of what to expect, pricing-wise.  You might even be able to message someone and set up a trade that way, instead of dealing with the text scroll in Trading chat.  I've used it myself to pick up a few Prisma and Prime items, though I didn't register with the site - I merely looked at the information.

Again, welcome to the community!  Here's hoping you enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the tip, made my first purchase via warframe.market.

  7. I'm a new player, and haven't had this much fun in a game for while. There are two issues that I have:

    1. Regarding prime gear, I don't understand the rationale behind the rotating or time gated availability? As a new player, lots of cool stuff seems out of reach. Why not just make the gear available for sale all the time? I'm prepared to spend money! (I'm aware that prime blueprints etc. can be traded, which brings me to my second wish.)

    2. Any chance we will get an exchange? My understanding of the trading system is that if there is something I want to buy, it relies on someone being at the same place and at the same time as me, selling what I want, and I have to notice it amongst al the trade spam. Way too inconvenient!

  8. Admittedly I'm only a casual player, but I have yet to finish any solo mission with a bursa. (I haven't come across one in a group yet.) I'm basically giving up on Corpus missions for now. Have plenty of other games vying for my attention! I used to have fun playing Warframe, but due to bursas, I cannot complete any more of the maps.
