Its lvl 85, is supposed to be a challenge, if you can't do it just play the lower levels of rathum. There are players that can win it, not easily but at the end it is possible to do it.

Getting stun locked by something unavoidable isn't challenge

This sort of bullS#&$ is not challenge, it's frustration

    ^ Also this

I'm not saying it should be changed, there's plenty of more annoying things out there and Rathuum feels about as aggervating as it needs to be at level 85

    In order of importance:

Since the last time you mentioned addressing “mandatory” mods like +damage and multishot, you’ve added Primed Point Blank and Riven mods to the game, which simply contribute to the issue. Have you officially gone back on plans to address these mods?

Have you been able to spare that programmer for Shield Gating yet? When can we expect it?

Any progress on the Limbo rework?

In the Reddit AMA, you were asked if you'd considered adding an extra color tint option for metals on the PBR Prime items (including the frames post-Nova Prime)... and Sheldon missed the point when he answered. Would someone else care to revise?

I'm pretty sure that once damage 3.0 rolls out and the damage mods are removed / changed, riven mods will be the only way to get + damage, which I'm okay with as it makes rivens more valuable and would allow unused weapons to catch up to the meta ones for the most part.

  3. Clear an interception solo with hobbled key isn't hard, it's literally undoable unless you just use soundquake

Capturing the first point triggers spawns, but if you leave one half neut before that and try to cap another, the point you left neut goes back to red and while your capping that they start getting points meaning by the time you have 2 points the enemy is in the lead meaning you have to hold your 2 points while capping a third without any plausable way of reaching and or covering those two points because they're too far away to roll into and protect, because by the time you do they're already red.

I'm about to try again on Ivara with simulor since I don't have banshee. Tried a max range Mag and Nezha already, couldn't even get the first two points capped so I'm not sure exactly how to go about doing this. even without the key, this seems awkward, not difficult.

This is feedback forum yeah? My feedback is to get rid of this unless it's doable with other frames because at least the other ones that are crazy hard can be done in a variety of ways.

Edit: I could try Vauban too I guess

    Nevermind I did it

I know what you are thinking, but letting us pick the rewards is troublesome from many points of view.

One of them would be, if they were to present us equally appealing rewards to choose from, then Rivens or Legendary Cores have no place among those, I should think. Rarity needs to be preserved, otherwise a lot of those items will suddenly become, cheap, unimportant and irrelevant, right?

Rivens aren't rare, and they definitely shouldn't be given the fact you can roll something utterly worthless. A rollercoaster of excitement and disappointment is extremely unhealthy. So, putting Rivens and Legendary cores on the same shelf is kinda silly. One of those can instantly 10-rank something for free ( which costs like, what, 2m credits and 40,000 endo) while the other has a chance at ending up as endo itself. The chance of rolling a good riven is really low, even rolling a desirable weapon is only half the battle.

You Token system guys know you're trying to fix the result of a problem and not the problem itself, right?

Sorties don't need a Token system. They need good rewards, Period.

A Token system is just a way of avoiding the fact there's too much trash on the loot table. Adding a token system isn't going to change that nor is it going to improve your avg gains over time.

The thing is, they less desirable awards for veteran players are actually useful to other players who've been playing a few months and got that far. They should be able to get those while I should be able to get the stuff I need.

STOP THE PRESS and call the president, Sorties took slightly longer and were slightly harder for one day.

I'm whining because of the forma. Everything was okay until until I got my """reward"""

The difficulty was lack of preparation in this case. Restart if it looks like your team equipment isn't suited for the mission; if you needed Mesa, recruit one in chat. Or replace with an Ash, Saryn, Speedva, RQ Banshee. What I only mind in a sortie are frequent bugs (Uranus ext. I'm looking at you).

It would be great to see a token system for these. Personally I rank Nitain higher than Forma, though I have piles of both, but would rather neither be on the rewards table. We can control how we tackle missions; I would like some control over our rewards.

The difficulty wasn't the problem, I only mentioned it for context but I should have been more specific that I'm crying about getting junk for my effort

In my opinion there are a lot of the sortie rewards currently that are totally utterly useless really.

In order of uselessness (imo) with the worst ones first:

    - Focus lens

    - Greater Focus lens

    - Orokin reactor / catalyst blueprints

    - Exilus blueprint

    - Forma

    - Nitain

I think these should all be removed from sortie rewards list as they feel like a VERY VERY VERY bad consolation price. Especially since there are much easier ways to get these things in game than spending a looong time on three sortie missions.... It does not feel like a just reward in any way shape or form to put it bluntly.

This is end game content, so please stop giving us "rewards" that are more or less only useful getting to the point where you are ready for that level, not after you already got there....

Increase the chance for riven mods and higher Endo rewards / Legendery core etc instead maybe? I would think this would also much better build up to what DE is trying to do with the riven mods as well?

Or at least give those of us, who normally just buys a forma or a reactor etc from the market with platt anyhow if we need one, a possibility to choose NOT to have them in the reward list would be much appreciated. (Maybe a switch choice that says yes or no to resources in the list so you can set your choice if you want them / Find them useful or not?) I do understand that a lot of players might find some of these items helpful if they are not willing to buy & spend much platt but for those of us who don't mind that, it makes no sense at all to have them there.

Yeah, as I said I think in another post, I don't think they should be removed ( which goes against what I USED to think ) We should just be able to pick what we want.

like via a token system, even if it takes a few days to get the good stuff

Lets be honest here, the simulor is ANYTHING but a cc weapon.

I don't mind the limitations set on sorties, they're there to challenge players hence the reason they go up to level 100 enemies..... if you don't like the pistol challenge then theres nothing saying you have to do it....it's not like a new challenge doesn't come the day after.   While just using a pistol might be annoying at least everyone gets a chance to shoot at the enemy....unlike  when a player is spamming the mouse button on the simulor meaning others are literally just running from start to finish....it can't be fun for the person using the weapon and it sure isn't fun for other people in the team.

    It's a cc weapon

    it controls crowds

It's not good in capture missions, it's not good against lone bombards, it's not good in "hard" stuff, it's not good against bosses either. In all those listed points, it's easily outclassed by other weapons.

and the whole "hue hue if you don't like it don't do it" argument is extremely weak and seems like a meme for everyone unable to debate a point. Crapping out a few high DPS trap dots to make farming items take less doesn't make the simulor OP. The same could be said about more than a few things in the game, including warframe powers. The only problem I have with the simulor is that Mirrages make it disgustingly more strong than it is at it's core, which is a problem with mirage, not the weapon.

Other gross uses of mirage include nuking a room with tonkor, creating tornado of death with the telos boltace, turning into a lightning deity with the atterax and hotboxing a whole tile with a heavy cal multishot torid. That's the stuff that isn't fun.

Honestly and I'll likely get some hate for this... it needs a fire rate nerf or something to stop it being spammed in levels.  They seem to nerf warframes with a press 4 to win mentality but the simulors get left alone and imo are a lot more annoying than warframe abilities....

becauase all of them except the ones with effort put into them don't clear the hardest content with the same ease as they do in earlier content. They're supposed to be a cc weapon, therefore it needs to actually do cc. the only "nerf" that'd fit well with the weapons concept would be to change it so it does more damage based on how many enemies it's touching, but that could potentially be a buff too.

Remember that pistols only defense sortie? Is that how you want the whole game to be?

Betcha had a slow nova, right?  They are nice, but often they'll spam MP right at the beginning of each wave and it takes forever to hunt everything down and kill it.

I don't know what kinda build they had, but the damage bonus wasn't really noticeable and I spent most of the mission spamming my 4 anyway to halt the enemies, take away their armor ( we had 2 corrosive projections ) and thanks to Icy Augment, keep everbunny from dying so I couldn't tell how slowly they were moving anyway.

  10. Probably best to stop the gaming trend where you get a lotta points to make it look cooler and just give 1 point a day after beating the 3rd sortie and just adjust your drop chart accordingly.

Also LOL at all the people saying "That will never happen" even DE says on devstreams that they don't really say "never" so i dunno why everyone's like "haha that's never going to come" Yeah, and if it doesn't it's because people don't want it. It's as simple as that. If enough people chatter about getting a sortie token system, i'm positive it'll be implemented in some way shape or form, for better or worse.

in this case, people seem pretty unhappy with the sortie changes and DE knows about it. Only thing we can do is talk about it and hope for the best. <3

I think there are only a few rewards right now that I'm not disappointed with.  I like 4k Endo (2k is too low), Riven Mods, catalyst BP's, and legendary cores.  The Exilus adapter blueprint is a bad joke.  Lenses are worthless at this point because I already have all the passives in Naramon, the energy regen passive from Zenurik, and enough lenses to max the other schools if it ever becomes worth the time.  I get enough reactors for the rate at which new frames are released.  At the moment, I need Nitain but that need won't last long if I keep doing alerts.  Forma BP is a common reward from several Lith keys.  It has to be built but it takes something like 5 minutes to get the materials to build one assuming that vets who are capable of doing sorties don't already have a stockpile of resources.

I would love a token system but at this point I have very little faith that it would be implemented correctly.  We'd probably get something like 3 tokens a day but Riven mods and up would cost 20+ tokens.

I'd be fine with 5 tokens a day rewarded after beating the 3rd sortie and riven being 20

Or just like, more straightforward numbers. like 1 token after all 3, rivens being 3 or 4, and legend cores being 30 oe 50. Big number because I've done them daily since release and never gotten one. They should require a bit a patience to maintain value imo, but not be a disgusting game of pointsitting to get. like, 100 would be wayy too high.

Even with weak weapons, there are several buffing abilities, namely novas 2x multiplier, rhino 2.x multiplier and the elemental buffers like oberon.

You can use specters as they can use primaries, you can summon enemies with shadows of the death, you can summon a specter that deal more damage with equinox duality and you have a large arsenal of secondaries and abilities to choose from.

Unpreparation is the number one reason for any difficulty, going in and expecting others to the work for you was a mistake, now don't forget to do the same thing again. (sarcasm here)

There isn't much i can do to help you, each player prepares the way they want for the missions, this is not a design fault, your choices made this happen, either you improve or you don't.

I just don't want another forma I don't need help, the mission took forever because the party wasn't so great. I ended up on frost, our Trin had the worst range i'd ever seen and our nova wasn't even boosting the damage a whole lot. I wanted to be mesa but noone else wanted guard duty, and the ragtag group I'd curated were pretty much the remnants of the team I'd run the first one with + a random picked up on mission 2

People say they're easy but the thing is they're not, just a lotta players have invested time + effort into their frames or weapons via modding formas and ect then tote around like king cool saying how easy the endgame is. I didn't mind how long it took until I'd realized my reward a forma. Formas are useful to some people, that much was obvious with how undeveloped my squad was. I'm not asking them to be removed, I'm just asking for me to choose the reward I need most, even if it means running 3 days worth to get that thing I need.

Preparation is key? Basically if everybunny who's a l337 tenno  brings their penultimate cheese kit, where does that leave the not-so amazing players who've gotten that far? Their options are suffer, leech, or have one really good thing. Some people have one really good thing, which is why I'm usually last to pick my frame because not everyone's invested so broadly as I have. I had little choice outside ditching them and finding a god squad, which would have been a bit rude, wouldn't it?

The gap between player skill/strength is very noticeable, and some players need formas. Others, like me, want stuff like endo, legendary cores and riven mods, because that is virtually the only way I can get any stronger through the completion of sorties. and if becoming stronger or benefiting somehow isn't a result, what's the point in even doing them to begin with?

The only way to really reward people with a guarantee of progress from these Sorties is through the Token System.

Pistols only defense took a pretty long time since we didn't have a mesa

Like, almost an hour kinda long. Someone left at 7 waves left and by then we'd been there 15 mins. It was clear not everyone had very good secondaries, or the relentlessly powerful hoards of armour-clad meat people proved too much for my fellow Tenno's trusted sidearms.

Forma was quite literally the only thing I didn't want. I'd bought some today, and i'm sure many "Endgame" players are drowning in enough blueprints or plat to make them worse than a consolation prize. It's like going to a birthday rave and getting a bag of dog crap as a party favor after getting elbowed several times for straying too close to the mosh pit.

Can we please have that sortie token system that was mentioned? I'm not crazy right? It was mentioned? It was literally the best way to handle an endgame activity instead of covering the sweet stuff with layers upon layers of RNG. RNG isn't bad exactly, but the only rewarding endgame activity (and I daily one at that) really shouldn't be a slot machine. Hard work should be rewarded, and that's what happen with a sortie token system. Work Hard. Play Hard. Gurentee some totally awesome whosernanny or doohicky as a reward.

    Reward. REWARD.

and what happens when someone already has exilus adapters in all their frames? You can't even trade them so at that point getting one'd be literally nothing lol. Same could be said about reactors and blueprints. I hate lenses too but at least they can be traded.

Anyway, point being. Please do the sortie token system. Please. I woulda preferred the 2k endo to a forma at this point.

Also, I'm not complaining about how long it took. I'm whining that I got a forma for it.

  14. All Nezha needs to be survivable is an augment that lets his 2's heal affect feed armor to his halo.

You know what woulda been great? Giving his 4 the augment Rhino's 4 got ( The one he really didn't need seeing as how his ironskin augment turns him into a living shotgun with one of the strongest burst AOE abilities in the game. )

  15. About half the ones I've gotten have been for sentinel weapons too, along with a few of my friends.

At this point it's far too common to be "Unlucky" because you don't hear about anyone getting several high-profile rivens in a row either, and there are more desired weapons than sentinal weapons at the moment.

    -Simulor

    -Daikyu

    -Cernos

    -Dread

    -Tonkor

    -Siberis

    -Stradvar

    -Zarr

    -Gorgon

    -Ignis

I've rolled only one of those myself (cernos), but I've rolled 3 sentinal weapons so far. There's a LOT of other rifles too, so it's pretty aggravating that sentinal wep ones are so frequent

and I've only owned 5 Rivens so far.
