  1. Indeed, my own example:

Why on earth is the shimmer on the frame such a bright, glaring yellow when I'm using a vivid darker orange with a red background. Works well on the spores themselves, but the sheen is terrible. If I use the red as the first colour, it comes out as a bright pink.

For my own tastes it would also be nice if the spores themselves used the Primary colour for their "skin". Also to actually maybe leave a trail of growths as we move, like the icy step or the plant one.

Great ephemera, but yeah, a few issues.

Edit: Another pic to highlight how it looks in a game space:

  2. If they make is so it doesn't take a huge amount of organising, is intuitive to work through and will have more than 2% of the playerbase play it this time, then sure.

Honestly, I think Squad Link is an intriguing and promising way in which they could makeit work as they develop it further.

If what you're asking for is more akin to a WoW or Wildstar, which is exactly the opposite of those things, then hell no.

  3. Wisp actually makes a very competant melee frame. The passive allows you to close the distance unseen, or there's Will-O-Wisp teleport that can also get you a brief window of invulnerability. Her suite of buffs make her fast, durable and disruptive. Surge can prime people in melee for more damage and disruption.

  4. Some kind of visual novel.

Which Warframe will you choose to be the Operator for?

"Y-you think I'm c-c-c..." You can't help but smile as she turns her sightless visage this way and that, obviously flustered. You're sure that beneath her expressionless mask, what flesh she possesses is flushed and writhing.

"Even though I have... that I'm so..." Nova-chan hugs herself tightly and you notice her small hands subconsciously trying to cover the pitted scars in her porcelain armor, carved here and there by matter-antimatter annihilation. For such a powerful frame, she looks so fragile, like a china doll. You resist the urge to step in and hug her, given that the energies now sparking from the aforementioned pockmarks would no doubt cause some form of enormous explosion on contact.

  5. As far as weapons go, yes, I'd look in the Marketplace and pick up all the base, non-mk1 weapons (Paris, Braton, Bo, Etc.), get those slotted up as advised above.

However, for your own sanity, my advice for first important mods to level and slot are some of your defensive mods for you Warframe. Steel Fibre, Redirection and Vitality. That'll save you some stress early on. Also do not throw away Damaged mods. They can be good space filler for some builds later on.

  6. Wait, people look at the drops beyond the rarity level or whether it's a Forma? News to me and my whole clan and affiliates.

The UI change so fare has been an improvement for all those I play with for the most part, and the chages they made with the last patch improved the readability, which was nice.

  7. I'm actually kind of jonesing for the new Nightwave now. I know its infested themed (big fan) and I want to see where they go with it. I also want to see how the improvements they've decided to make play out. I actually found Wolf of Saturn Six very engaging, despite the mis-steps with some of the objectives, plus it sounds like that may be incorporating some aspects of the scrapped Kingpin system in this upcoming one, if what I gleaned from the Dev Streams is correct.

I swear though, DE. You better not give us a Kerrigan (or any kind of humanised being) with The Emmisary. I like sexy monsters and all, but I want my Infested weird, inhuman, yet strangely relatable.

  8. As someone who can decimate the Wolf handily, I'll say that yes he's a massive step back in their boss design.

No invulnerability phases thankfully, but the massive health pool and various power/status invulnerabilities are pretty bad.

However, they had to do this because, frankly the way our powers work, the scaling of some frames (Hello Chroma, Saryn, etc.) and how damage and armour are calculated . These things needs a huge overhaul. Thankfully they've said they're hoping to this year and I look forward to it as an end to them having to design encounters like the Wolf if nothing else.

No, Oberon and Hildryn filed for divorce 2 weeks after marriage because Hildryn kept Oberon from proccing Hunter Adrenaline.

True story. I had to run away several rooms from a Hildryn on a sortie Void survival just to get energy.

My friend, that's when Hildryn gracefully takes flight, more regal and graceful than any plebian Titania and showers you with Energy.

  10. People complain when no approximate timeline is announced though. That's why they put up the roadmap, because of all the complaints about no estimates. You can bet that if they miss even one of those, then there'll be complaints from those saying that they shouldn't have given any estimates at all. It's a no win with two different camps.
