It's a deluxe skin...either buy it or avoid it. It's to personal taste.
I personally might use it over her normal skin. I really dislike her appearance. This actually looks cool. I immediately fed Yarelli to Helminth because I dislike her appearance.
Now I might actually refarm her for use.

It's an exilus mod and they're adding melee arcanes. Which does bring them to parity with Primary and Secondaries now. I'm fine with it.
Are melee better? Sure. But are they better then Primary and Secondaries?
Remains to be seen. It does appear though that hybrid builds will be good again at least.

55 PLUS the Primes. So your looking at 23 Primes(24 if your a founder) and Umbra Excalibur.
That's 80+ Warframes x 5 Shards each.
400+ Shards. And now we're combining Shards?
Yeah, a chance at 3 a week is abysmal.

He also said you can get Archon Shards in Whispers, which is needed. We need more then 2 opportunities a week given you already want 5 per warframe as it is even before they add in a merging mechanic.
That's also not including Tau Forged Shards, which the merge mechanics should include for parity with all other Shards.

Let em get it right.
Personally it changes nothing for me. The Tennogen info was enough for me to stay on Xbox.
But I'd rather they avoid nuking everyone's accounts in the process of getting Cross Save working.

I'm not doing Kahl missions to get more shards..that just sounds like an absolute chore.
Yeah they need to add more ways to get these items. The number you need is kinda ridiculous even before these new shards were added.
Edit: They did say they were adding shards to the new vaults, which is nice but hopefully the limit is more then just 1 shard.

It's considered to be a "founders" type pack, it wouldn't be discounted.
They added more platinum to it and future packs will see improvement.

I'd like to see some weapons get added to Sisters, Liches along with new Incarnons.
Kuva: Sobek, Grakata, Argonak, Duel Kohmaks, Vastilok, Buzlok, Ripkas, Quatz, Machete
Tenent: Opticor, Ambassador, Battacor, Lanka, Stahlta, Exergis, Stropha, Amprex, Cyanex

That's probably coming with Whispers since they are using a new Lighting System for the entire game.

They did mention hints at more activity on Fortuna (Reb pointed out the Narmer drone observing the third Orb) so I don't think it's forgotten. Personally, I think Nef is still waiting for his opportunity to exact revenge on Solaris and Narmer, so maybe Fortuna is gearing up to be the next huge chapter. We shall see.
Rebbs stated before that they have the next 5 years of the narrative planned out.
We know we have Whipsers and WF1999 planned as the "big updates" but in The AMA done last year they also have indicated that they also have Infested Liches and a "Stalker Update" in the works as well (Megan also said this at Tennocon).
I don't think they've forgotten about Narmer, Pazuul/Erra or Nef, but they want to focus on Dr. Entarti/TMITW before that it seems.
I believe the "Stalker Update" will involve the Archons in some way considering that was a plot point for his inclusion in The New War so that also could be a drive to include Hunhow in the narrative post New War as well.
I hope that if that's the case, we see Hunhow interact with Natah/Lotus/Margulis differently to cement that choice.
Going back to the topic at hand; we're not going back to the older tilesets for Plains/Fortuna. It dosent fit the narrative they are moving forward with.

I'm not going on thematics at all. Xaku only came with the Quassus, so Xaku has a free weapon slot available.
So it would be a good time for Daikyu to get primed.

There's a few warframes coming up that also only 1 weapon:
- Protea, Xaku, Sevagoth, Lavos(only Primary)
I might be a bit to optimistic here bit I see 3 warframes that can get a Daikyu Prime next year.
I feel like it could be Xaku.

It's fine in SP. Circuit or non Circuit. It's not amazing but it's not as bad as people claim it is either. Nothing wrong with it being where it is along with using Hildryns augments. Outside say 9999 runs but at that point your only using Revenant.

So, here's the problem with Scarlet Spear; it was a test into the system 'Squad Link', which you probably knew. There is, however, an essential problem with Squad Link and the way DE's underlying systems work.
That problem is that the netcode for Warframe relies on Peer to Peer connections for the instanced matches, which makes it incredibly resource-light on the main servers for DE, but also means that you can't actually connect two instanced sessions without creating a very resource-intensive bridge to allow for it. Scarlet Spear was the level-best attempt they had for trying to solve this.
The concept was that you would have a monitored server (the Relay), that was a middle-man between the different instances that were playing. This special Relay server would then be able to monitor multiple instances and feed limited data from each instance to the other instances. For example the data that a new Condrix had been defeated, allowing there to be progress on the space mission.
It was, loosely, a way to simulate Dedicated Servers, without the massively intensive work and cost necessary to re-code Warframe onto actual Dedicated Servers.
The reason they haven't brought it back? Because the experiment was, largely, not successful.
While it was possible for the limited time, it required so many, many little quirks and rules. Like having participation rewards for players trigger when each Relay finished its cycle (which players exploited by joining them at the last second to get boosted rewards), and having to incentivise the two different mission types to appeal to players that were only after incentives. All the way up to making one of the mission types just be... incredibly easy as long as you had the scaling damage, because it was only a mobile defense.
So I don't think we'll see another Scarlet Spear, certainly not one in the form it was in before.
What we'll likely see is something that tries to simulate the Dedicated Server link again, so that Squad Link can be fully realised, but not in the same event, not in the same format, and definitely not with the same mission types.
Oh trust me I understand this completely. I had a conversation with one of the developers at Tennocon and they gave me quite a good breakdown on the this situation.
Squad-Link was just waaay to ambitious. But that event had arguable the best rewards. My hope is Operation: Gargoyles Cry is the replacement for Scarlet Spear.

There has to be a way around this ...This is an Xbone/PS4/Switch issue.
PS5/Xbox X and S don't drop the spawn rate. DE needs to decide to stop supporting last gen hardware.
But the tricky part is now Mobile, it might also have this issue. So it's likely even if they cease support of older consoles your still stick with Mobile creating this issue.
That is unless Mobile users can't host.

I don't get the hate on Balefire. It's better then some secondaries in the game.
It actually shows its value in The Circuit, if you get a bad roll of secondary weapons and you get a Hildryn: It's actually a viable answer.
Now is it always ideal: No. But I wouldn't call it abysmal either.

As a veteran player I'm actually really excited for the new clan event. And I hope this is something they continue to do more of.
These community events really make the game feel like it has a real "community" as we enter into year 2 of Rebb at the helm, I hope she draws from feedback and gets these events rolling again.
Having Plague Star Return also before the new event: It's a good move.
Hopefully they find an event to also replace Scarlet Spear as they're still quite gun shy from pulling the trigger on that, and it's likely a reason why it's taken this long to get a new event back into the game.

Well considering the new Clan Event can also be basically achieved with a Ghost/Solo Clan, I think it's safe to say they are catering to everyone.
As a player that really enjoys playing with my friends (Were a ghost clan) This is something at least every type of clan/player can experience and enjoy. I wouldn't discount having some new events, it's something that the game has lacked in for years. And when they did do Operations/Events, it make the game feel more alive. (I really miss Shadow Dept personally)

They won't. It's literally why players continue to play.
We're going to see more warframes because DE is also drawing more and more ideas from the community.
So they still have more ideas for new warframes then they know what to do with.
Not to mention that we still have yet to recieve a second Umbra Warframe. And it's something that the community also wants. I've had conversations relating to this with new and veteran players discussing this.
Now this is a personal experience I'm drawing from but players still want more.
So I wouldn't be surprised we see a third variation of warframes come out at some point (more umbras).
Either way: We're getting more warframes. It's literally the lifeblood of the game.

I'd rather another deluxe skin. Maybe one that doubles down on the Grim Reaper look, have it come along with a Hespar skin.
Voidshell would be nice but it's just another skin for the non-prime model ultimately.
