the problem with big maps like Cerberus is the share exp range.
also if the developers admit that it was a mistake, why not revert the frame changes and just make viver unavilable for the time being. That way people that enjoy using excal/trinity/mag can keep on enjoying till a real fix is found.

I guess the "people" he meant, are the people at DE.
I am tired of people saying just make your argument in a professional manner. Screw that crap, like any feedback actually mean anything. Yes I am calling out DE's integrity on this. Every dev stream they spit out, your feedback is very important keep them coming. I call bs on that.
There have been literally hundreds of threads giving feedback on this issue. And none of them were about nerfing the frames but it was either 1) fixing the syndicate reputation system 2) changing the viver map to something else. Yet they went with what they had plan disregarding any feedback from the players. Its not just this issue, it has been like this throughout the months with various things.
Bottom line is, feedback was given and DE just buried their head in the sand.

To the Community about their reaction to Viver/Nerfs that came out:
I do agree that the Nerfs were a bit out of hand when it came down to it but most players reactions are not going to help to have any chance of them being reverted. If most players keep on reacting the way they do towards this we may never see change to the Syndicate system. Rather than being furious at DE for making the changes based on Viver, Disagree and list the many reasons why it was considered a negative change to you. This is one of the best developer teams I have ever seen for the simple fact that they listen to their community when considering changes. Take your approach with a calm mind and come up with some very strong points to your argument of why you did not like the changes.
I guess you didn't see all the different feedback in the past couple days then. There were many threads on possible fixes and nerfing frames were not one of them. Bottom line is, feedback were given and it was wasn't worth anything. Tell me if they didn't listen to any of what was said, what is the point?

Like I said, we'll find out friday.
Luckily, I'll be at work.
I'll pray for you guys.
Going to play some Street Fighter.
From what I have seen of the dev stream, they tend to not answer questions in a serious manner. A lot of times they just skimp over it.
also is our feedback worth anything? Throughout the major changes with DE asking for feedback, players have given great options. I remember the Frost feedback thread where players were discussing different changes and look at what happened? Nothing, they just went with the road that they created. And now Viver, there were many different threads on what could be done, but in the end none of that really matters too. For a dev who keep on saying our feedback is important, then why wasn't we were heard?
the only feedback worth anything is bug related.

I took 2 week to get from 0-5000 reputation just by doing normal missions. The I see High level guys from Viver get like 20,000 reputation just in 1 run.
and that is whats wrong with the syndicate reputation system. at your rate it will take 2 months to get 20k points to rank up to 2. then another 4 months to reach rank 3. then another 8 months to reach rank 4....

Ah ok thanks. It's weird because I did not have to craft the bo prime handle or glaive prime blade to make the sacrifice. I guess helmets need crafting.
the glaive blade and handle are, I believed, consider as parts not blueprints. The frame items are consider blueprints.

looks like the +20 is added AFTER all of the other +status% mods.
Kinda diasppointed. was hoping the +20 added to the base and the other mods calculated on the new base number
-
I just want to say, I appreciate all these hardcore grinders. Get new stuff out for people to test/use so people like me who gets like 30k points in 15 days don't have to waste all their points on a mod that is not useful.

Rebecca locked both petitions about whether or not to nerf Viver, stating that it was "under review."
oh wow.............
-
Due to fact it is under review this may be useless by wensday
under review whats going on?

Each ammo scavanger aura increases ammo recovered per drop.
If you equip a rifle ammo scavanger (maxed) then it will increase it by 150%. 20 ammo becomes 50 ammo.
My suggestion includes adding 2 to the max level, so 200% increase in all ammo categories (for example, rifle would give 60 per drop)
oh really cause I always thought it was increase drop rate from way way back in the day when I first started and after that never bother with it. My mistake.

I shot a full clip on the ground and nothing happened, so I figured it might only trigger on shooting an enemy. Then I unloaded about 5 full clips on Vor and still nothing. And yes, I had 180% multishot and maxed entropy spike.
The problem is, no one has an idea what the "0.2" actually is, for all we know it could be 0.2% or 0.2 out of 1, so 20%. If it's really 20% then this is clearly bugged.
think you might have that wrong. where did you get the 1 from? it has always been out of 100%. From looking back at the U15 patch notes, it just list 0.1% for the explosion to happen. But ya 0.2% out of 100% is kinda LULZ

i did the same thing with a stomp build rhino and a clanmate with trinity, i only got 1800 rep points...and my buddy 2200...
what im doing wrong?
not killing fast enough. You really need a mag or excal with near max out range to one hit kill everything.
1) capture two points
2) let mobs capture two points
3) get ahead but 1-2%
4) spam abilities to kill everything in 1 hit. Don't go near the spawns
is that pretty much to this whole thing?
-
how would this actually work though. the only reason to use a specific scavenger mod was to increase the drop rate of said specific ammo. If everything have an equal chance to drop then the net gain is 0.
all this combine rainbow scavenger mod will do is just increase the drop rate of ammo. you might as well just use an ammo mutation mod for your weapons. That will take any ammo instead of hoping the mob will drop the correct one for you.
-
wow this is disappointing to hear. Looks like I will be sticking to med restores for a very long time.
For the cost of these things, they better like restore your health/shield/energy/ammo to max with every tick.
-
why cant we have something like this.
I don't mind giving up the secondary slot to use it
heres a better video
-
slots and more slots. having slots allows you to keep almost every weapon you like. no more worrying deciding if you want to keep said weapon or not.
once you feel like you have enough slots, spend some on catalysts and reactors. 5-10 each will pretty much last you a long time if you just supercharge the things you enjoy.
last thing, spend it on colors packs first then spend rest on whatever else you like.

i would to see..
freeze- change it ice wave. does what ice wave does now but it freezes everything.
ice wave- get rid of it and come up with a new ability.
ice globe- get rid of the timer.
avalanche- does damage and freezes everything else that don't die
but more importantly, just give him a speed buff already. he is too slow to use on any mission other than defense. Max rank rush don't really help all that much.
-
i have 24 catalyst, 13 reactors and 54 formas at the moment. I started a few months after open beta and I have only brought maybe a total of less than 10 potatoes and formas. I only supercharge the items that I really enjoy.
If you really enjoy the game, just spend like $10 on some platinum. if not, then get yourself a blind rage or narrowminded mod, dump everything into it to max it. then sell it for around 300 platinum.
-
be pretty cool if aviator mod work on archwing missions.
-
my problem is with the archwing gunplay. For this type of gameplay, there really needs a lockon feature. Aiming is tough for the player but seems like the mobs have auto aim on you.
-
its ok if we do it to them, but when the same tactic is used against us, its cheap and unfair.
but hey atleast we can pick up our weapons back (once bugs are fixed) unlike the things we fight. Also if you are fighting grineers and decided not to bring a melee weapon, well thats on you.

The real formula is: Total affinity / 450 = standing. Round fractions up.
It's not based on frame exp. Just confirmed this in my own testing. ALL affinity across weapons and warframe contributes to the standing gain. The total seems to be divided by 450. Has taken my total exp gains to within a fraction of a point within standing gain every time.
It's not based on the number of weapons either. With just a warframe and a single weapon, or a warframe and all three weapons, affinity / 450 = standing was accurate every time.
I have not tested with a sentinel equipped, I was using boosters, and did this testing entirely solo.
When testing this stuff out, it helps to make sure EVERYTHING reports its exp income. Nearly all the reported "testing" done has the same major flaw - no exact exp gains have been reported. Everyone's comparing standing gains and trying to figure out why in a group Tenno X is getting more standing than Tenno Y using maxed items, which is a mistake.
oh ok thanks. so bottom line is kill more stuff and faster?
-
if it is based of frame xp, have anyone tried out by just killing everything with just frame powers?

this will never happen.
that leader unit with the walking snowglobe shows otherwise............
