  1. I play on a 144hz monitor and cap Warframe at 120fps. In the Orbiter, it's relatively stable.

After doing an hour and a half run in Duviri, my framerate was dropping as low as 24 fps. That whole time, it was only using 4GB of RAM, and Task Manager was displaying 0% GPU usage throughout. CPU rarely if ever went above 25%.

I've tried switching to Classic graphics, but have seen no discernable change. I was not experiencing frame drops this significant prior to the uipdate.

  2. I'm done with these investigations.

3/5 on the last one, gone over the map half a dozen times. Finally realized there's an infested ramp up to the upper layer.

It's blocked off by an invisible wall. F off.

EDIT: I'm going to elaborate for the sake of being specific. There is a very simple, fundamental rule of game design. If you put something in a level that implies 'you can go here', blocking it off right before accessing that 'new' area is nothing short of incompetence/deliberately yanking the chain of the people who would otherwise want to continue supporting the game financially...

  3. Chakkurr I liked before the explosive changes. Something about it feels a little off now. Kuva Hind and Nukor are my new go-to's right now though. The only other burst rifles I've actually enjoyed using are the Dex Sybaris and the Battacor. Kuva Hind has really solidified itself as a cozy crit-status hybrid.

  4. I don't like the heavy attack system. In close to 5 years I also never bothered with melee combos. Now I'm apparently stuck with nothing left for melee weapons because right now, all of them default to heavy attacks. Tried a number of them, quick melee just doesn't exist right now. And I'm not okay with this in the slightest.

  5. Yeah, everything that isn't the boosters should be improved greatly. I'm at nearly 1500 logins, and I'm still only getting 14 Mutagen Samples when they appear. And that's the only one of its kind that is remotely useful by that point, because crappy Hema/100x Health research costs.

Getting weapon slots is actually still nice to see, and like I said, 40+ hour boosters for free are actually quite generous. Endo and other resources though, they're still so far away from 'replacing the grind' that I don't think improving their login count is going to hurt anyway.

  6. I get the feeling that it's a bit tricky with the fact that MOAs already have an existing 'customization' pattern with the pair of mods each base comes with. There's already six different ability tweaks for them, so adding arcanes in as an entirely new set of tweaks to them could be quite fiddly.

I'm thinking mostly of how the Plague Star Exodia arcanes can radically alter how Zaws are used compared to the normal Exodias, because doing plain copies of Warframe arcanes but for MOAs seems like it'd be rather underwhelming. The same for adapting the Pax arcanes.

I think, to at least contribute one idea, I would like to see a MOA arcane that does a better job of what the Hacking Precept mod has been kinda iffy about doing. Something that allows the MOA to reprogram an enemy MOA/Roller-turned-Roller Turret/Infested MOA (work out the lore) as a permanent minion of its own. Preferably one that is superior to the hacked Shockwave MOA, since for one it wouldn't be limited to a few specific tilesets, and for another in that they can regenerate shields/health as needed.

  7. I wouldn't mind this, and affinity range getting an improvement in open world. And I mean as a baseline. In over 1500 hours, who knows how much of that was after PoE, I haven't seen ANYONE use a flare.

Sure, the only frames that would really need it are Trinity and Harrow, but even when I still ran Eidolons no-one ever used them. Flat improvement to both types of range and adjust flares accordingly in my opinion.

  8. I can already foresee the flood of complaints about Impact procs and headshots.

As someone who is typically coming out with the highest headshot count/percentage in a lot of games, not just Warframe, I've never really noticed that much of a problem when ragdolling is involved. It's more down to weird placement for the head itself (Crawlers in Killing Floor 2, Chargers in Warframe, Grineer in general from the back).

I personally love ragdolling effects. Using the Kuva Seer to launch enemies away is silly, but it's also very fun. And when there was a particular bug that meant Orb Vallis assassination targets were completely invulnerable, Void Dashing them into the centre lake almost became a minigame in its own right. (At one point I managed to score a near kilometre long launch)

When it happened, it was more enjoyable than annoying, I wouldn't mind seeing a return of it in some form.

you can deal normal Damage to first Phase them. i'd say maybe Host/Client issue or Et Cetera.

Probably. Every time I've run a Murex raid, I've only been able to damage the Vomvalysts with void. Most of the time they just die outright anyway, rather than going to exposed stage.

  10. The Sentients have weird hitboxes in general. Aerolyst won't be targeted at all so long as the canisters remain. When Battalysts ball up to do their spinning lasers attack, the hitbox is below where their actual model is. Vomvalysts are only ever vulnerable to void damage, it's not like the Plains version where you have to pop the outer layer with gunfire and then use void damage.

I forget the names of some of the other types, but the scuttlers in particular have such funky collision points that they're a nightmare to single out. It's much easier to just hop out and back into Peacemaker quickly.

Not in the slightest. It only leaves me confused as to what exactly needs to be reworked about her.

To date, Trinity Prime has been my most played. Probably because she was the PA when I began, and carried through a lot of content at the time

These days, even Energy Vampire feels lacking in some regards. Her kit is fundamentally flawed in that so many of her abilities have opposing strengths. Link relies on duration and range, EV relies on strength, range and negative duration. Bless relies on strength and duration with no regard for range because that's what Vazarin is for. And there's simply no reason to ever use Well of Life.

Stacked up against tanky healers like Garuda, shield tanks like Hildryn, energy givers like Harrow, who also has a better affinity-wide ability for that matter, and she's just a mess.

What is even her 'trinity' anymore? She's got two for health, armour is only for herself, and energy doubles as shield thanks to her augment, so it's not even a proper 'three' theme, because there's four aspects to her.

On top of all that, the Prime model is just really bad compared to so many others. You can see bits of her base model armour sticking out under the Prime armour pieces for crying out loud. Her abilities are wonky, her theme is just not there, and her model is somehow worse than Primes that came before. I'd like to go back to playing her when it's not with the expectation of 'spam 3, cast 4 occasionally' as being the entirety of her gameplay.
