I got a lot of reasons to find it a waste of time.
First of all, simply the fact that the game spawns literally several dropships at once even when your alert level is at 0. DE, for the love of god, PLEASE make the spawnrate of random enemies MINIMUM when they don't even know you're in the orb vallis. It's just too annoying for another dropship to appear right after you dealt with the last patrol.
Second, using Ivara is simply too OP for this. Animals like Bolarolas are extremely hard to tranq when you don't have a frame that can put enemies to sleep AND be invisible. Make the vulnerable hitbox larger or make the animal walk faster, cause I can prepare tea, have a shower and completely drink that cup of tea before that mutated tortoise will get anywhere close to the call point.
Last but not least, noticing both the tracks and the animals is too hard for me, and I feel like it might be impossible for people with color blindness. It took me a few minutes to even know where a Sawgaw is, and I still couldn't tranq it cause it was always either flying away immediately or too far away.

It gets even more frustrating when Nightwave requires 10 perfect tranqs...

pro tip OP, get Ivara and stop suffering, sleep arrow works on all of the animals and you just need 1 arrow to put them to sleep.

the spawn rate on valis is madness I give you that, every freaking time I go there three drop ships pawn where i am, Im not even doing anything and the alert level scalate to the roof, it's just a miserable experience.

  2. How can you give a solution to a problem that doesn't exist?

DE is just drunk nerfing again, Rahetalius already made a video about this as well as Triburos, but DE its just not listening again, the ideas are coming in mass but they just dont care, you are yelling to a brick wall at this point.

if their "solution" to everything it's just nerfing i'm very worry about the future of this game.

  3. oh yeah, my favorite boss was that big guy with the six shields, that you have to cut strategically to get rid of them to blow his advantage and force him to go full melee,  oh wait that was from metal gear revengeance a game with good boss fights!

boss fights in this game are either boring or have long invincibility periods, they are not interesting to fight at all, im been playing this game for 4 years and not a singles boss is fun, they are either bullet sponges or die in 1 hit, the closes thing a "boss" having "good" mechanics was exploiter, and she is an event :I

  4. I mean I just did a 20 round defense and only 4 drones spawn, 4 on 20 runs? with, maybe this was a bug because I was very sure I pick one of those things but they never get register, is anyone else experience something like this, I was the host btw.

That is a sentence where context really, really matters.

im pretty sure some kinky stuff is going on here, hmmmmmm

but anyway, I dont see my self using her new augment or any of her arguments to be real, builds are already very tight with her and adding more gimmicky stuff is just not worth for me.

Very rarely has DE rolled back a frame rework or nerf

So rarely that I can't count it

Ember rework is likely to stay for all eternity

And so is the fact that

    She's mastery fodder now

let me tell you that Saryn has gotten no less than 4 reworks already, so yeah, also steve mention plans to rework her and vauban as well.

  7. As far I have seen, sentient behave exactly like Mordremoth an ancient dragon on GW2, to make the story short, he was basically a jungle, and the only way of killing him was destroying his mind, because his body was so vast that was physically impossible to do,  sentians are the same, completely indestructible bodys with with a mind controlling everything, minions and such.

so my guess is, the only way of truly kill a sentiant is destroying his mind, as someone mentioned before, that's why the Void is toxic to them, because the energies there draw people insane, I will love to have a battle with a massive sentian, like wearing down his physical body with railjack and then use transference to kill his mind to finish it off, I think that will do a pretty cool and badass way of killing them.

  8. The problems with rivens is the disposition itself, if all the weapons had the same chance at getting stats people wont be paying ludacris amounts of money just because this X weapon have 5 disposition but this other cost less because X weapon have only 2.

here is the problem, RNG to get certain riven for X weapon, RNG to get desire stats, RNG to get specific desire stats, its just terrible, if we had the option to "LOCK" stats while we roll for new attributes it will mitigate the excruciating RNG and Kuva farming.

The riven is not a bad idea, but DE dig themselves in a hole by doing it so poorly.

Take a look at most of the animations in this game. Take an honest look at most of the content of this game. It's not about what is hard for them to do. It's about what they're willing or not willing to do. Everything about Nightwave is rather low-effort. Compare it to Destiny 2's Forsaken DLC (the thing that very clearly inspires Nightwave's Saturn Six). The sort of thing Bungie did with that DLC (in particular, its Prison of Elders map) is what we should have gotten with this, imo. Instead, we got dioramas of the Wolf and his undressed fugitives at random locations. We couldn't even get proper cinematics. If they were unwilling to animate their so-called episodic cutscenes, what makes you think they would've put much more work into silly emotes? Remember, Nightwave is merely meant to be an Alerts replacement. It's not DE's big content. So they're going to put as little work as possible into it while they're prioritizing their main work, which is Railjack, Jupiter rework, and The New War. Because make no mistake, that's the priority. So they're going to prioritize what they spend the most effort on.

If you want DE to get to a place where they can do their best work on all of their content, ask them to stop spending money on useless Times Square billboards and unnecessary scavenger hunts, and to instead use their money to grow their dev team. Also, don't just blindly accept anything DE puts out, but be constructively critical of their work. That goes for everyone in the community. Don't accept anything just because the game is free. That's the only way we're going to see more quality content (and not just quantity). We have to show DE that we value quality over quantity. That means not complaining when there are content droughts. Instead, push for DE to put out quality, and to grow their team so that they can increase the quantity as well. And, imo, no area of the dev team needs this more than the animation team.

I couldn't say it better, the animation deparment on DE really need a boost up, is a huge disappointment that the only TWO animations in nightwave feel unfinished at best, nightwave is a nice idea but just because is essentially a free battle pass doesn't mean they can just give us subpar quality stuff, we are investing our time in the game doing the task and we deserve better, I just hope DE can step up their game a notch.

also on a side note speaking of animations, now that the prove us that costume running animations are possible, I hope they expand on it to every frame, and not just make it for wisp and forget about it, like its tradition with DE just implementing something and leave it without touch for years.
