During a couple of missions last night I would spawn into a group to start a mission on the plains and could not switch to my Tenno, could not open my inventory window and could not use my primary or switch to my secondary or melee weapons at all. I could melee, but couldn't select anything at all i.e. energy pads. Ran the entire bounty with only a melee. On a separate note, what is with allowing people to spawn in so late into bounties? I have joined groups as late as them completing the second stage of the bounty! I would prefer not joining so late as missing two stage rewards is not a desirable situation. 

  2. Starting yesterday after the hotfix, Either starting the mission, or returning from it the door to the plains, or to Cetus will not render. You see a red sky and nothing else. If you go through what should be the door you fall, sometimes endlessly like a death loop, and sometimes you fall for 10 seconds and land outside of Cetus at the normal arrival spawn point. In the case where you fall endlessly, you have to quit the game to stop falling. In the case where it spawns you back at the original landing spawn point, if you enter Cetus, the door will still not have rendered. 

  3. Ok so I've been playing a long time and have done every event and some of them multiple times. The Razorback and Formorian Armada events are not much fun and the reward drops are pitiful.

    During this current Razorback Event I have run the mission 43 times in total. From that I have received the following, outside of the Orokin Catalyst and 200,000 credits.

    10 Gorgon Wraith Blueprints

    8 Barrels

    10 Receivers

    15 Stocks

    4 Breach Loader Mods

    0 Bore Mods

    0 Auger Strike Mods

    These Events, (like all of the others) isn't enough fun and the rewards aren't nearly good enough to justify the amount of time and effort it takes to run them.  I ran both solo and in groups. Solo mostly as people didn't join which is another testament to the lack of interest there is in doing these. If the event was a load of fun, and or rewarding it would be fine, but to me, it's neither. So if nothing changes in these, I will only run the event enough times to get the Catalyst. Im not sure how you make events more fun, but rerunning these over and over is not the answer. I normally like to have at least some suggestion as to how to make things better, but in these cases I just don't have any great ideas. Maybe others will have some terrific ideas to make them fun to do? I know DE want us to enjoy events, so maybe they'll take your suggestions into consideration for future Events?

    And that is the problem! No incentives to rerun the missions for veterans and too expensive for newer players. It needs to be fixed. 

  5. Ok DE, So lets have a chat about these resource requirements for Formorian and Razorback events. If your intent is to only have veteran players participate, then we can end the discussion now. Since I'm fairly certain that isn't your desired intent, then we need to talk about the resource requirements for newer, to mid teens MR players. To build Razorback Ciphers costs 1500 Polymer and 3 Gallium and for the Fomorian, 3500 Nano Spores, 300 Cryotic plus of course the credits of 1250 each. 

    I have tried to help people to participate in the event, and have spent a lot of time having to help them farm those resources as well of course the gathering of Omega Isotopes and Cryptographic Alu. To expect these players to have the amount of materials you are charging to build these keys is flat out exclusionary. They simply don't have enough and what they do have, they want to keep for building other things. So if you want EVERYONE to be a part of these events, then make the cost SIGNIFICANTLY Cheaper! I'm MR 24 so it's not a huge deal to me personally, but for the majority of other players who aren't hundreds, or thousands of hours into the game, you have by these very costs, excluded them from participating, or participating more than the bare minimum in order to receive the base rewards. 

    This has had another side effect which appears to be that since they know they can't participate, you get a bunch of them sitting in chat wishing the relays would blow up. It's toxic and sews seeds of discontent. Running these events back to back is also not helpful and to have them constantly cycling through is another issue. Once you have all of the drops, why bother to do them at all? I mean how many copies of a bad primary weapon, or an underused Archwing weapon do you need or can you sell? How many sets of Puncture mods do we all need? At least they are saleable.  

    Time for a rethink to these events in my opinion!  

  6. Ok so I filled out the survey but I struggled to have it actually match my feelings about the PoE expansion. There are things I enjoy and things I do not, mostly because they have other factors influencing them. Do I enjoy fishing. Well, I kind of did until the Event came along at which point it was so bloody frustrating that I just gave up. If I have to fish, (and I do in order to get my standing daily) I find I get frustrated by a few things. I hate that I'm just trying to fish and constantly (usually right after, finding a "Hot Spot" using a dye pack and throwing out a bait) get attacked by the Grineer or even worse, the ever spawning Infested. I tried fishing as Ivara, but of course the enemy all know where I am anyway and get in the bloody way! I hate how during the night cycle that hot spots may not appear at all at the double lake or other similar areas, or if they do, they disappear shortly after I find them. I don't like throwing out 9 bait for Murkrays and only getting two fish to spawn and one despawns as soon as I catch the other. I don't like that the majority of the fish I need to catch all spawn at night and then I have to choose to go after the Teralyst or go fishing. Oh and PLEASE, give me a way to know which spear I'm using so I don't think I need to switch to the already equipped version and end up shooting my shotgun at the damn fish! lol. 

    I don't enjoy trying to draw patterns that disappear while trying to not have my controller suddenly jerk significantly one way or another because of the placement or angle of the minerals I can see them from covers faces of more than one rock. I'm sure it, like many other mechanics are much easier with keyboard and mouse. I also don't like that even with the advanced cutter, the drop rate for the rarer rocks is so low. I gave up even trying to get resources for arcanes. I don't and have never done the raid so have no arcanes and guess I won't have any here either. 

    I do love the scenery. I think the Plains are a visual treat and believe you guys did an amazing job on them. I wish the map was smaller so I could see the whole thing, that there was a North indicator so directing people to areas was easier, and that Cetus had an indicator on the mini map and main map! It gets challenging trying to find your way back for people who are directionally challenged and that is apparently a lot of people.

    The NPC's need to shut the heck up! They loop the same dialogue over and over and over until I was once again forced to just turn it all off. I want Lotus to not tell me the same things in all missions and want a switch to just shut her off for all things in all tilesets, not just the Plains! I'm not picking on Space Mom, but how many times does anyone need to be told im nearing the area and if I set off an alarm yadda yadda, yadda.... or I need to collect reactant etc... maybe after a few times she should just never say it again! Maybe NPC's can have a one time or an occasional dialogue and the rest of the time, if they need to speak, maybe just a Hi Tenno, and a Thank You Tenno. I think when dialogue is done for games, the Devs don't think about just how often you have to hear it and just how much of annoyance it is. I turned off Ordis a long time ago and would like to do the same with all repeating dialogue  same with the Event in POE  I don't want to listen to the same long winded dialogue every time I take the bounty for Plague Star.  Oh and Plague Star was just plain tedious.. I got so many copies of the mods and then there was no other reason to do it after I'd filed my gold statue in the Dojo.. maybe dropping Gara parts would have been a good idea!

    Entering and exiting from Cetus on console is just painful. It takes soooooooooooo long and while I understand that consoles have issues for you guys, well I'd rather just go back to my ship. Go to Cetus only if I have to and it would make it easier. Trying to fight Teralysts multiple times in a night cycle is stressful because of the minutes lost having to go back to Cetus and then back out and of course, getting kicked.... OFTEN! It's actually been better with the Plague Star event because you had to lower the number of players in each instance, better, but still sooooo slow...

    I get totally lost in Cetus. I just fast travel to whoever I want to go to and then leave. It's probably because of the insanely low frame rate and glitching while everything renders on consoles, but I find the whole layout confusing as hell. 

    Do I want more open areas? Yep. Do I want them to be better or more involving... you bet. Do I do bounties... not much anymore. Even with the higher quantity of rewards from the recent change, which is MUCH of an improvement, I still haven't gotten a full set of Gara, I have never gotten any of the Eidolon lenses and have enough of one mod to wallpaper my Lisset, (inside and out) while having gotten none of the rarer mods from bounties. I hate certain of the bounties and while I get that it's a huge open area, I don't want to have to go 600 meters this way and then 900 another and then 1200 another and on and on. It's not fun. I always thought that huge distances were involved on a tileset for no reason other than you could, but this is so much worse. I want to do a bounty and be done. I don't know what the bounty will require and so don't know what frame to bring. I don't enjoy being bombarded from the air by a gun ship. The Warframes don't look over their heads easily. I freaking hate those alarm drones. They take too long for me to locate , and get their flares off before I can find them about 75%. of the time. I also hate, really hate using my arch wing on the Plains. Give me level flight with a roll button if I have to roll from incoming projectiles, although on Amesha I just hit my decoy and fly on. I love Titania on the plains and I get that she shouldn't be as fast on her arcwhing, but sheesh, she's so slow! She isn't on normal missions but the scale of distance makes her painful, but I still use her because her archwinf is so much better to fly than the full on archwing is.

    Sorry I wasnt planning on writing a novel, but I guess I needed to vent.

    i dont get what is wrong with lures taking damage. its just a part of the boss fight isnt it? and are we sure the explosion even 1 hits lures?

    Yes they can one hit lures. We don't run a Trinity as there are only two of us in our group and the other player doesn't own a Trinity or any other healing WF as he's fairly new and suffers from "No Plat syndrome" so we have fewer options. As it is we have to take a bounty to get lures to spawn at a high enough level to give them a chance of surviving his attacks. Before you say it, no we don't want to run with randoms and no I don't want to be there demanding someone who wants to join "Must have Trinity" as there is already quite enough of that going on in the game. Lures have stupid A.I. and regularly get stuck on terrain or tents. The hit box to tell them to stay/follow is another issue at least on consoles. I've seen and heard players trying for a ridiculous amount of time to find the right angle to get the option box to appear for them. Why they can't teleport to the person they are following or apparently can't fly OVER WATER and need a land bridge, or keep getting stuck, already make them a huge pain. Having had to wait for minutes to have someone get to another camp, then charge the lure then get it to arrive back at the fight is tedious and losing lures in the final stage to one attack and having to go through the whole process again is just silly, and you want to make them more vulnerable???? I sure hope DE DON'T Listen to this idea!

    Umm it's fairly easy to solo him. I use my Chroma and Arca Plasmor built for crit with a ton of radiation. For the amp for your Tenno, well the level one brace, level 2 Shwaak prism and the level 2 scaffold. Makes it pretty quick to take down his shields, but once down the Arca Plasmor destroys his limbs with just a couple of shots or so. Depends on which limb though as his arms quite often make it more difficult to hit those. The whole fight took about 15 min or so. I'm on console so we've had the update for a week?

    I'm not sure what you're talking about here.

    Tell this to the people who continually self res. apparently it's a huge problem for them as I've seen it happen so often that it's obviously a conditioned reflex to reload and that causes the self res. 

    I don't recall doing this myself, but 3 times between 2 other people in one mission today says it's a problem. 

  10. So QOL discussions seem to be a consistent topic in Dev Streams, but some changes that have been made aren't great and others are still needed in my opinion.

    First off is the Self Revive function which is ok as an idea I guess, but it's the same button (On Xbone) as the reload button. Can't tell you how many times teammates have resurrected themselves while trying to reload their weapon while laying on the ground. Please DE, this needs to be on another button!

    Please let me turn off the majority of Lotus' comments without having to turn off all communications! I don't need to hear her tell me I'm approaching a console and if I set off an alarm they're going to wipe the data EVERYTIME I do a spy mission and in all three of the vaults I'm hacking. The same thing for doing void fissures. I really don't need to hear the same dialogue over and over and over and over and ...... telling me to finish collecting reactant or to see what the relic contains after the mission. I get it, we all get it! Maybe this is useful for new players, but maybe after a couple of dozen runs, it can just turn off?

    The endlessly repetitive dialogue while turning in fish is ridiculous and unessecary. Can't the Lady just say something simple like, Thank you! This is true for any dialogue that you know is going to repeated often. Please think about having to hear it over and over while trying to calculate what fish I need to turn in (without going over) to fill my daily standing. This process is kind of reminiscent of the old days levelling mods and trying to figure out how many Bronze, Silver or gold Fusion Cores you needed to use to go up a level or two.

    Speaking of fishing, I know a lot of effort went into making the sounds and musical effects for catching a large fish, but seriously becomes irritating when you HAVE TO FISH daily and for extended periods of time. Please, let me turn this off. Same for sitting in the Navigation screen, I like the musical sustain, but can it please go away after a few Seconds?

    Can you PLEASE, move our warframes head over to the left or remove the Warframe characters completely from the Mod screen in the Arsenal? It blocks the stats screen and you have to scroll back to the  beginning of your mods to see what effect a change has made. Or alternatively, move the text box for the stats to the right which would let us see them.

    I was really excited about PoE but I'll be honest, I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be. I don't mind grinding, but the amps and Zaws blueprints not being reusable is just a kick in the butt. It takes a lot of grinding to get the standing to buy the parts to build a new weapon, but these were promoted as being interchangeable parts so you could create a unique weapon. They are not really interchangeable at all in the sense that I own all of these parts and can now try different combos. They are interchangeable once you re-buy all of the blueprints over and over. I wouldn't even mind if there was a small charge to have Onko take a weapon apart so I could try different combos of parts, but I'm not, and apparently a lot of the community are not happy with this current arrangement.

    The list could be longer and maybe it's just me (I know it's not) who would be pleased to see these changes made. I thank you for your time.

    I am tired of people telling everyone to just get a bunch of random people to join their clan/dojo. I've done it and all of them after an initial surge, stop playing because some "New AAA game comes out. I wait a couple of months and then remove them. I've invited so many over the past couple of years and they either move on to other games or lose interest in the grind and only sporadically show up. The friend who I started this with logged on once about 300 days ago and before that it was over 250 days, since his previous log in. He doesn't even own an Xbox anymore, but because he actually was the one to hit the start a clan button and became a warlord, I can't even remove him as the other warlord. The last Clan Event, The Pacifism Defect, I had 6 members and not one of them showed up to do even one run! I do all the research and always have, with the exception of the Hema which will remain undone forever, not because I couldn't do it, but as a silent protest and a middle Finger to DE for the stupid costs! I built the Dojo, researched everything by myself. I did so because I am not a joiner, I don't want to be in a clan, but do want the weapons and warframes so I built my own. I have less than Zero interest in being in an organized (however loosely) clan and don't want DE to force me to continually bring in random people because THEY want to force Clan based play.  I play with friends and they had built their Dojo's so they won't leave them and I'm not leaving mine. DE can try all they want to make people play as a group, or they can figure a way to make it so being a solo clan can also work. Either way, I'm not going to go the rando route again.

  12. As long as you kill the Corpus head first on both levels of the fight, you should have no problems. Done this maybe 15 times and it works each time. Just a pain in the butt, but at least it is doable.

If people are getting mad about affinity on lower level planets, they're doing the wrong mission or they need to travel with you. I Banshee farm for rep, which kills the ENTIRE map in defense, and don't get complaints, though I'm sure I will at some point.

    I either don't have the right build or just don't understand her mechanics. But I'd like to! Care to share?

Many players take Ember with WoF or Equinox to them because they one-shot everything, but in some cases that is bad because they kill enemies before they can become corrupted, meaning less reactant drops.     There are far too many times in doing solo survivals or with one friend that they simply don't spawn enough enemies or corrupt them fast enough in order to get ten reactant. It wasn't with an ember in the squad either. It's just a thing that happens. On the other hand, I ran a bunch of mesa exterminates yesterday with my ember and never had any issue getting ten reactant in the first minute or two. I don't know it to be a fact, but I suspect there is something else at fault here.

    This! Dear lord someone please tell all players, especially newer ones, but not exclusively that running all over the place simply screws up the spawns and can make it so nobody gets enough reactant to ever get a damn reward! Ran a rare pug yesterday and in 15 minutes, nobody got anything! I play solo unless with friends on and this is exactly why! Run any frame you like and that's fine with me, but please stay within an area and make everyone's life better.

    The hema was a screw up and because they didn't want to make clans who farmed aggressively over Christmas to feel they wasted their time, they never reduced the costs. Personally, I'm a single person clan and I just said screw it. It's the only item in the Dojo that has not been researched and never will be. It's a crappy weapon and I can't be bothered to farm to build it just for fodder.

    There is a bug in the Lephantis assassination on regular mode and it has carried over to the sortie. You must kill the corpus head first in both levels of the fight or it just walks around with his cowel closed and you can not complete the mission. DE are aware of the problem and are working on a fix, or at least that's what they told me after I messaged them. I was helping newer players to do missions and this happened a couple of times before we figured it out. Annoying? You bet! 

  18. I think this is a great cause and kudos to DE for this. Now I'd like to show my support but can't find the ribbon. I'm on Xbox and have looked in my inventory  under attachments and Regali, But haven't found it. Do I need to go to the market to get it? I tried looking in there but couldn't find it. Sorry if this is me just missing the obvious, but danged if I can figure out where it is.

    The Simulacrum is about the worst possible way to test anything since it simulates no tileset in the game. It doesn't really alleviate the core issue I have which is that it takes too long to level up an unranked weapon to 30 when I have to use only partially ranked mods in order to see how it behaves. I can then only run low level missions which takes far longer to rank up the weapon. My time is valuable to me. Giving me a chance to equip a fully ranked up damage mod as well as 3 or 4 other mods lets me get through the process of ranking up the weapon and deciding whether to waste a potato and forma on them.

    That would give players the ability to 'try before they buy' without cutting into DE's revenue (3 forma bundles are the best selling item in the market).

    I grabbed a number of older weapons to either build or rebuild as I'd deleted them and they were required to build something else, and most of those had at least one polarity. It is a newer trend to having more and more weapons coming out with zero. One V polarity on a weapon lets you see if you like the weapon enough to spend the time to forma it to max or to Starchart level. No polarity slot on a lvl 0 weapon and I'm almost guaranteed to use it as fodder only. I just don't see this as a financial drain to DE. IF a weapon is good, or I like the mechanics, or it's fun to use, I'll put 2, 3, 4 or more forma into it, if I can't tell if it's fun to use, I absolutely won't.

    There's a good side to this, too. If you see someone dealing tons of damage with a weapon nobody uses, you know he spent time building it. Thus, you know he likes the weapon, he's not just trying it out. If anyone could make late-game builds from any weapon without spending time on it, it would decrease their value a lot.

    As for formas, just build them constantly. A friend of mine started playing Warframe last month, and when he saw the formas, what they are for, how you acquire them and how much time you need to craft them, his first thought was "I'll try to get at least one a day so I can craft them all the time". I myself stacked 14 formas, this isn't much but I'm not actively farming them. If you wait until you need them to farm them, 0 polarity weapons will be an issue, but if you're foreseeing, that will just be a few more hours (or minutes ?) of farming.

    I never said anything about being able to use a new weapon in end game without formaing it. What I said was, give us One V so I can fit enough mods on to level it to 30 in a reasonable amount of time and get a feel for the weapon. I have a fair number of forma built (62) with another 70 or so Blueprints. I have not ever purchased one, nor would I. When I was playing a lot I was building one a day, every day. Since I have barely played in the last 2 or 3 months, I haven't built any. I'm not going to say our group was in the majority, but none of us ever bought a forma or rushed one for that matter. If this is all about DE wanting to increase revenues, then I have some other suggestions for them.. Let me rush research in the Dojo, or how about when you start a WF, it costs X amount of plat to rush it. After one day the cost should drop by say slightly less than 1/3rd, after 2 days it should drop again. As it works now, with only hours left on a frame, the cost is close enough to the original amount that I won't rush it. I can't tell you how often I've seen people in region or trade chat wanting to buy Orokin cells, Neurodes, Neural sensors, and while I think it's silly to buy them, if they want to, I say let them buy them in the market. There will always be people who either don't have a lot of time to play, or just want to start building now and are short of some resource to build a weapon or warframe, so let em buy them in the Market. It's all a rather blown out of proportion solution to me simply wanting to have one V on weapons.

    Well that may or may not be the case sometimes, but I have bought Prime Access Packs yes, more than one. It has Nothing to do with the forma itself, but, has everything to do with grinding every weapon to 30 with many having no polarities on them. I have a couple thousand plat that I have nothing that I can find to buy with it. I have a few tennogen skins and lots of colour packs. I used to buy 30 day affinity, credit and resource boosters every month, but not anymore. Too many ways where they have increased the grind and decreased the fun I had playing and helping new players in the game. That is my personal take and agree or not, I believe adding one V to weapons would actually let me enjoy the weapon more while I grind (Hustle) to level it up to 30.

    We have a saying in our group now. It's not called Grinding anymore, in fact we call it Hustling. What level is your hustle at? Lol I think it's funny and helped relieve the tedium for a few minutes.
