  1. Even well cared for, the devices break when they have to, and in an emergency we take from our drawer what may be useful temporarily.

    At no time have I said that I cannot find a better graphic card than this one. What I am saying from the beginning is that due to recent events, "at this moment" only low-end cards are availables, at exorbitant prices for what it offers and it is. At least in my region.

    Can I pay for something like that and at those prices? Of course.
    I'm going to do it? I doubt it. I will surely wait for Nvidia/Ati to replenish stock.
    You won't see me looking for an RTX 3090 or RX 6700, but if I'm going to invest a certain amount of money, at least I want a mid-range and not be ripped off by the store.
    No more mystery.

    Nor do I think it was such a crazy suggestion/request.
    I just tried to tell DE staff about the current situation, nothing more.

    Anyway, I do not think it deserves to continue diverting the thread; in the first message I already asked what I wanted, and we're not going to solve nothing, because the current situation is what it is, and it is something that we cannot change.

    i have to sortof doubt this, since DirectX 11 supporting GPU's came to the Consumer market in September 2009. anything since then supports DirectX 11. there's lots of quite good more recent options that fill this need, as well. you don't have to buy a 2020 GPU to get a very good GPU, after all.

    So according to you it is impossible that I am currently using an "EMERGENCY" DirectX 10.1 graphic card, also from 2009, which is serving me as a temporal fix, because it is enough to run all of my daily needs, including Warframe.

    Since you like data so much, I suggest you look at the market and update yourself a little, since for about a month there is not only a lack of stock of 2020 cards, but of cards from 2016 onwards. That is the problem that I exposed to them in my previous message.

    Be that as it may, as long as you offer to pay for everything, I have no problem in using a low-end card, one of those that you claim to be such good options.

    habiendo trascurrido ya dos meses desde mi reporte y comprobado que ha sido archivado sin corregir o responder siquiera, os pongo nuevamente en constancia los errores.
    Tres de las cuatro habilidades de Gauss en español no han sido traducidas sino inventadas, las cuales paso a detallarles a continuación:

    - March rush  Velocidad Mach
    Traducción correcta: "Carrera Mach".
    *No pone 'speed' sino 'rush', que es 'carrera', justo lo que hace el Warframe tras activar dicha habilidad. Igualmente existen precedentes en el juego traducidos como carrera.

    - Kinetic plating  Blindaje cinético
    Traducción correcta: "Chapado cinético".

    - Redline  Aceleración máxima
    Traducción correcta: "Línea roja".

     

    Ruego los rectifiquen, muchas gracias.

    Su traducción a nuestro idioma debe ser "El santo de Altra" (con 'santo' en minúsculas).


    Ruego rectifiquen este grave error, muchas gracias.

    tras un paseo por la web en su lenguaje original y revisada la noticia de la inminente actualización, me he fijado en que tres de las cuatro habilidades de Gauss en español no han sido traducidas sino inventadas, que paso a detallarles a continuación:

    some time ago you added some ZAW names like "BALLA" strike to a "whitelist" of exclusions to avoid the actual profanity system, and so the users can name their weapons with the own component names.
    Sadly the problem persists in some pieces like "SHTUNG" grip.

    In order to definitely solve this problem, could you add the names of all modular pieces to said whitelist?

  10. Oh I see. Your idea that enemies affected by "Chaos" gain an aggro level is the best idea that I've seen so far to improve the ability.
    You have my vote ?

    I hope we are lucky and that someone from [DE] can go through this thread and consider some of what we have said to improve her. I do not usually write much in the feedback forum, so I'm not quite sure how likely it is.

    The idea of having total control over the objectives affected by "Mind Control" also crossed my mind, but I discarded it in favor of the proposal that I made for the following very important reasons:

    Basing the "random effect" on the enemy type can be interesting, although doing it randomly I think it would be more fun because of the uncertainty itself about what will happen to the enemy. I like both options.

     

    Actually making it less possible for enemies to attack us while they are affected by "Chaos" is something that already happens. After use the skill, all the affected enemies will see the rest as if they were us, being referenced with a hologram of our Nyx. They will attack everything that has our image, so if we pass in front of them or attack them, we will receive an answer. Being out of their field of vision (or audition, in case the enemy has not located anyone and is not already in combat), they will not attack us.
    Maybe I got it wrong and you were suggesting another thing.

     

    I designed my proposals minimalist also to be easy to programing by [DE], since many of those elements are already implemented in the game.
    No doubt some very interesting adjustments for my proposal, thanks again for your contribution.

    You've already made it clear that your idea is not to improve Nyx, but to nerf it and turn it into a different Warframe. I find it very strange that she is your main character after stating that you do not like him. I would never make my main a Warframe that I do not like, no matter how useful it is. If you also want to nerf it, it is clear that you do not see her so useful.
    It's strange, although it's not my business what other players do or do not.

     

    Nyx does not serve to kill with his powers at medium levels onwards, always having to kill with weapons. It is a Warframe oriented for support and evasion as I said before.

    in the last Devstream was mentioned again a new Nyx rework, and this really terrifies me because she is (in my opinion) a Warframe with a perfect balance.
    Because of this, and as Nyx main player since the Closed Beta, I have decided to expose you my ideas for possible improvements that are not going to ruin her. I hope you have them in mind and at least find them interesting or useful:

     

    1. MIND CONTROL
    It would remain like now, but it would allow us to force a enemy to maintain his position after touching him. A second touch on him would order him to follow us again.
    Mind Control is a great power, but the fact that an NPC under that influence follows us can be a problem for less experienced players, especially in missions like Spy. Just needing to touch the enemies to force them to act as "Syndicate Operatives", making they to wait in a place or to follow us again, would be very useful and versatile.

     

    2. PSYCHIC BOLTS
    Its operation would be similar, but recovering the old concept where the mental projectiles pursue, impact and enter in the enemy skull.
    Its amount and movement in the air would be the same, but after entering in the enemy's body would cause a 100% of bleeding chance and a random effect related to a "serious brain injury".
    The name could change to a new one called "Psychic Attack", "Mental Corruption", "Brain Damage" or something similar related to its effects on the enemy's body.

    Possible random effects:
    - Mental lock: the enemy will remain lobotomized, immobile and without any reaction.
    - Erratic movement: the enemy will move slowly to an uncertain direction, like a zombie.
    - Loss of coordination: the enemy will be physically impeded, constantly falling to the ground, colliding with obstacles or firing in any direction (even towards himself).
    - Hysteria: a total loss of reason, will attack everything that moves including its own allies.

     

    3. CHAOS
    I would not change anything in this ability. If you seen necessary to modify it, I suggest a simple addition of "frenetism" in the affected enemies, accelerating them to cause a true "chaos".

     

    4. ABSORB
    It would remain like now, but adding to the explosion the funtion of being able to expand in the time throughout the area, decaying its damage in the distance, as it happens in abilities from other Warframes like Mag, Ember, Banshee or Volt.
    It would also be appreciated that the damage counter reset be eliminated.

     

    P. RELINQUISH
    It would remain like until now, it's useful enough.

     

    Nyx is a very well balanced Warframe focused in support and evasion, and her abilities do exactly what they are supposed to do, and they are fun as well. With these proposals I tried to keep that concept of fun.

    tras un paseo por el juego en su lenguaje original me he percatado de una errata que afecta a este en nuestro idioma, viéndose erróneamente traducida la "Cyan Ayatan Star" a "Estrella Ayatan Turquesa", cuando en realidad debería de mostrarse como "Estrella Ayatan Cian".

    El cian es uno de los colores primarios pigmento o substractivos si así lo prefieren, junto al magenta y amarillo, algo de cultura básica que no debería de ser errado, pese a lo que algunos diccionarios web hechos por gente de a pie sigan mostrando hoy día.

    Aquí les dejo una muestra para mayor claridad:
     █████│││ Cyan ↔ Cian
     █████│││ Turquoise ↔ Turquesa
     █████│││ Amber ↔ Ámbar

     

    Ruego rectifiquen este error en cuanto les sea posible, muchas gracias.

    first of all I would like to thank you [DE] for bring us this new game mode so interesting, I always asked for the inclusion of a modality that rewarded the players effort and penalize the AFKs. If both concepts were implemented in the rest of the game modes, it would be great.

     

    Going to the subject in question, I also thank you for finally adding the possibility to obtain these two weapons again and that it was not in the form of a gift. I am glad that this has been done as well because there are too many gifts in the game. The awards for effort and dedication is what always motivates us to continue and improve ourselves. All our tenno comrades will be able to get them, something really very good.

     

    Then, where is the problem?
    In what can be seen in more than one thread of the forum: bringing back these weapons entails the loss of an exclusive distinction for those players who participated in such an early stages of the game.

    In the Devstream 77 was mentioned the possibility of adding something aesthetic to compensate those players, and it is something that I see very positive to please everyone.

     

    I have read to people suggesting Emblems/Sekhara, Sigils, Lato and Braton Skins, but particularly I think that being something so linked to the profile should be something closer to this, being my suggestion the inclusion of a new types of Accolade.
    There are already many of them, Staff, Founders, Guides of The Lotus, Warframe Partners, etc.

     

    I think it is the quickest and cheapest option, as well as the one that best fits the concept of award that was given when that weapons was delivered to us at that time.

    su aporte más que claro ha sido cristalino.

    • Lo primero que aprecio es que los criterios que enumera contradicen algunos de los ejemplos que aporta, así como otros casos no mencionados.
    • Lo segundo es su predisposición a mantener nombres instaurados en etapas previas del juego, aunque esto cause discrepancias respecto al resto de armas anteriores, coetáneas y posteriores, dado el hecho de que su uso aparenta ser bastante fortuito tanto en el juego como los ejemplos que expone.

     

    Ciñéndonos al tema en cuestión, entiendo que con su aplicación el arma "Ether Reaper" debe ser modificada a "Reaper Éter", ya que entra dentro del primer criterio, siendo un arma única y su material el éter.

    Queda descartada del tercer criterio por no incluir en su nombre el tipo de arma, ya que "Reaper" no es un tipo de arma sino un nombre propio. "Guadaña" es el tipo de arma al que ambas pertenecen, término del que ninguna hace gala en su título.

    A estos puntos se suma el hecho de que "Reaper Prime" precede a Éter en poco más de 4 meses. Posteriormente se añadió a nuestro arsenal la variante Éter en lugar de la "Reaper" estándar, la cual por ahora sigue siendo sólo un mito.

    Otro ejemplo similar sería Ballistica, que tras la llegada de "Ballistica Prime" vio a sus variantes estándar y "Rakta" sufrir la pérdida de traducción, debido a la aplicación del primer criterio. ¿Por qué tratar este caso de forma distinta? ¿Por la carencia de la Reaper estándar? ¿Consiguen discernir así la incoherencia?

     

    Por mi parte no hay duda, "Reaper Prime" debe mantenerse tal cual en inglés, siendo en este caso "Segadora Éter" la que ha de corregirse.

    La solicitud presentada en este hilo es totalmente válida y coherente.

    En ningún momento he afirmado que en caso de que os apetezca realizarlo se haga todo de una vez, sino que debería de hacerse todo de una vez, de forma inmediata, y los errores que aparezcan reportarlos ustedes mismos a DE para que los solventan.

    es interesante ver como se ha ido desenvolviendo este tema y la resolución final.

    Ha quedado claro que la gran mayoría está conforme con la corrección del término "melé" a "cuerpo a cuerpo" no por gustos personales ni estética, sino porque es lo correcto.

     

    El motivo de dejar abierto este hilo para votaciones es algo que indirectamente ha propuesto el propio equipo de traducción, declarando que sólo se moverán en caso de que una incierta cantidad de gente se manifieste en los canales pertinentes y así lo quiera. Recuerden que el único canal pertinente es este, donde los propios [DE] nos remiten.

    Aun así es un sinsentido afirmar esto a la par que se expone que harán todo lo posible por corregir el error. Una contradicción en toda regla, ya que delegando el cambio a la opinión de los usuarios hace que este deje de recaer sobre las manos del equipo de traducción. Decídanse por favor, no confundan a la comunidad. ¿Deciden ustedes o los usuarios?

    ¿Cerrar el hilo? Por favor, un poco de seriedad. No propongan rutas a seguir para anularlas a continuación.

     

    Yendo al meollo del asunto, en mi opinión debería de ser corregido en todos los lugares que aparezca. Todos y sin excepción.

    En caso y momento de encontrarse limitaciones de cualquier índole, ser estas reportadas al equipo de soporte. Ellos están para eso, para corregir los problemas que acontezcan, mientras que el equipo de traducción lo está única y exclusivamente para adaptar los textos a nuestro amado idioma.

    Siendo uno de los equipos más cercanos a [DE], deberían de reportar dichos problemas y limitaciones, y no generar otros nuevos por evitar este paso. No creo que [DE] vaya a devorar a nadie, ni he visto a Saturno entre sus filas.

     

    Recuerden, este apartado existe para reportar problemas de traducción o adaptación, aportando soluciones siempre que sea posible.

    La contribución del equipo de traducción es valorada por todos, más aun siendo voluntaria, y dudo que alguien busque provocar enfrentamientos personales, victorias o derrotas, sino mejorar al máximo el contenido del juego. ¿Afirman que se va a solventar? Sólo eso importa.

    he estado analizando todas las aportaciones a este hilo (bastante ilustrativas todo hay que decirlo), y me gustaría poder opinar al respecto mas aun no puedo por no haberme quedado del todo claros ciertos aspectos.

    ¿Alguno de los miembros del equipo de traducción sería tan amable de enumerar los criterios que han establecido para la traducción de las armas? Sólo los miembros actuales de dicho grupo pueden aseverarlo por tenerlo bien presente.

     

    Los puntos del protocolo que he identificado son los siguientes, los cuales espero me corrijan en caso de error, y complementen con el resto que solicito y haya pasado por alto:

    • Mientras no entre dentro de otro punto, el nombre base del arma se mantendrá en inglés (Gorgon, Synapse, Corinth, Boar...).
    • El nombre base correspondiente a una "familia" se mantendrá en inglés, aunque esta última puede ser traducida según el caso (Prime, Vándalo, Fantasma, Arca...).
    • La familia que defina un "elemento" o "cualidad" será traducida, aunque el nombre base sólo lo será si corresponde a un tipo de arma (Espada, Daga...).
    • El "estado" o "unidades" que componen el arma serán traducidas, pero el nombre base se mantendrá en inglés (dobles, gemelas).

    This mod may seem like a wonder if you are going to kill to in Mercury or the Simulacrum against enemies without AI as in that video, but in a real game you can see clearly his limitations, something that for the simple reason of having created this thread is obvious that you have never done.

    That a weapon with that mod can kill at one hit does not mean that you're going to kill more than a really experienced player, much less that you're going to survive.

    Each player adapts his game mode to their own personal tastes and needs, based on what is available to him. For the constant players, the fact that certain things are removed or nerfed will not have any impact on us, but it can reduce fun and possibilities for those players who have made with it their way of playing. Have a little more empathy with them.

    Creo que no hace falta ver mucho más.

     

    Con que suene más o menos grineer, no se a qué te refieres. Los grineer utilizan cargos jerárquicos reales, vigentes o descartados, pero reales al fin y al cabo. Ellos hablan en inglés, obviando o confundiendo letras. Para que "sonase grineer" las traducciones deberían estar llenas de faltas ortográficas y no creo que sea algo que al equipo de traducción le interese hacer llegado este punto.

     

    Este personaje fue introducido originalmente como un desertor, pero como enemigo se le vio por primera vez en Project undermine donde actuaba como custodio de la prisión.

    Jamás vi a un alguacil o a un ujier con sombrero de vaquero. No se en que imágenes o películas te estarás basado.

  21. I agree with the forced resurrection, since it would eliminate a lot of AFK users, not all but a significant amount of them.

    It would include a countdown once you have run out of extra lives with the following two options to choose:

     

    A) Do you leave the match keeping only what you collected? (Default option in case of not choosing anything).
    Also add a premise if this happens: YOU CAN NOT BE HOST during X number of games (to avoid abuse of this option and system).

     

    B) Do you choose to stay, dead and get the mission like completed? (Only that and the rewards obtained before dying. You will not get the reward for completing mission and other special prizes).
    Those who die a lot and don't get their desired prize will have to prepare better and try again. Something good and fun, having to work. We are bored of gifts, we want prizes to effort.

  22. If the exclusive things that DE includes to Twitch Prime could be obtained in any other way, the problem would be over. Even if it's for $100 in their own store.
    If it is not exclusive, there is no problem. Everyone would have the option of purchasing it in one store or another.

     

    DE himself doesn't win anything for bothering his paying users, but directly they're generating players with exclusive benefits that leads to future problems.

    If they chose privative service to sell it and anyone can't access to buy that exclusive virtual item, and it has nothing to do with physical space limitations like you're telling us (Tennocon case), no excuse, they're excluding him.

     

    To resolve this issue, it would be easy: DE can act as an intermediary for that payment. People pays to Digital and Digital to Amazon.
    Or better still, follow my previous petition: don't release Warframe exclusive content on non-Warframe services.
    The two options would solve the problem and everyone would be happy. Digital or Amazon with their money, and the players with their items.

    And yes, today the exclusivity is the syandana. Frost Prime doesn't count in this matter.
