When did I said I'm against the fix for animation delay? Did I misunderstood the definition of "it"? Or did you acknowledged me as other person? Cause I only reply once here but you said "still".

To make it clear, I didn't say against the change of animation, and have no reason to against it. I'm talking about the situation OP faced, the major reason that vault blown up is due to OP being careless, which I called it "mistakes". I saw three mistakes in that situation, the first two being mentioned, and perhaps the last didn't mentioned yet to cause your misunderstanding, which is "Hacking Animation Delay".

Go back in the thread. in an earlier comment you said that in your opinion it would be best to consider the delay as part of the hacking time. And you gave no legitimate reason other than its an issue that can be avoided.

I think it is best to consider the animation as a part of hacking time. I see the bigger mistake of this situation is the moment alarm is triggered. Most of the good hacking player I saw include myself has average of 5s hacking time, I assume the vault you was in is one of it in Uranus spy, then you have 15 seconds to teleport to the top and slow, even kill enemies. The remaining time are more than enough to hack the vault, which you've failed and that's the second mistake.

To make it short and clear, I will become one of the folks:

And as someone mentioned, I don't care how good someone are at spy missions, I'll still recommend them to use Ivara to minimize the probability of encountering worst situation that can't expect to come.

I have played many of spy missions. The only problem I have is friction. Try slide to the vault and start the hack before the sliding stop, you'll get instant pop out from hacking and start hearing mommy to say: "You've triggered the alarm, lose this data and ...".

You still aren't giving a reason why you're against it. You're saying that you don't need it. Literally nothing at all would change For all of you players who are doing fine currently.

Tbh hacking minigames don't have a place in such a fast paced game. Its a years old mechanic thats appears to often to have not even of been touched. The last time hacking was mentioned was so many devstreams ago that I don't even remember.

  3. Damage wise Exalted blade is the strongest exalted melee. When you hit an enemy with the actual sword you get double damage, 2 chances to crit, and 2 chances to proc status due to the wave. Not the mention the waves can get critical headshots

And since EB has punch through that multiplies your DPS the more enemies you're hitting. Killing hallways in a few swings is insane

Chroma does have a passive, regardless of whether you want to class it as such or not. Changing elements and power style with energy color is a mighty useful one indeed.

That's not a passive. Also equinox uses the exact same mechanic and has a passive

show me that math pls. its not retorical or anything i legit wanna see the numbers cus everybody ive seen said the exact thing ive said. if math says otherwise i'd like to fix that.

    OK

    Vaykor Hek

    Standard Hek

In the normal hek build you can replace vicious spread with a cleanse mod for slightly more damage if you want, but you'll still be doing less damage than a vaykor hek(not even counting the critical headshot multiplier). This alongside it having half the magazine size.

shadow debt? vaykor hek is barely a sidegrade if you put a maxed primed ravage mod on it. otherwsie normal hek is vaaaaaaay better. other syndicate primaries doesnt even need such a thing, theyre just clearly better.

Math says otherwise, but you do you

    well it is true.

If you can't afford it the investment sure, but that doesn't make it worse. It simply means you don't have the resources. Post shadow debt it (The normal hek) does less damage, along with having worse supplemental stats

If invisibility is broken then infinite invisibility for no energy cost is a magnitude higher on the broken scale. So yah Shadow Step is broken.

I'm not excluding shadow step. I'm saying all invisibility is broken. Any decent player is literally uncombatable(is that a word? xD). Shadow step also takes a lot of work to attain, has a cooldown before you can activate it, and is still shorter than Loki's 30 seconds, ash's 20, and ivara's unlimited duration(as long as you're pick pocketing energy orbs). It also pidgeon holes you to constantly be in the enemies face, while simultaneously alerting them when you hit them.

Invisibility as a mechanic needs a tone down. I don't understand why people only see naramon. Just like the people that want zenurik nerfed when energy pads are over 20x as strong. I understand, all forms of invisibility have advantages and disadvantages from each other, but you're lying if you think all of the don't trivialize the majority(all?) of the game
