  1. I have not encountered this problem myself, I only use the arrow mutation mod on my dread, otherwise I would be forever running out of ammo for it, I have never had the need to equip any of the other ammo mutation mods.

  2. While I think the OP's suggestion is good, I do not agree with it.

     

    I personally like being able to choose to mod up a Latron as a high damage dealer per shot so I can headshot anything that falls into my crosshairs,

     

    I also like being able to mod up a Braton with stun, fire, all those other mods which are used for crowd control, holding back the waves of infested, grineer or corpus while my teammates mow them down with higher damage dealing weapons.

     

    I like being able to set up my secondary as a balanced counter to my primary.

     

    This game is about variety and teamwork, I feel that taking out the variety will just make everything the same, which will affect teamwork, because if everyone has the same weapons, they will end up doing the same thing as the other players, and things will slowly fall into more rigidly defined roles.

     

    Credit to the OP for coming up with his suggestion, it is just not one that I agree with.

    You have made some good points with your break of part of the player base, however, you forgot to include point D.

     

    The people who actually like the game and do invest money into it willingly to help it progress.

     

    I also disagree with the last part of your statement, I believe that DE will finish this game, it might not be a highly polished game when it is finished, but I do believe that they will keep working on it until it is finely polished.

     

    Think back to mid May, we where in update 7, I just started to play the game, I was green, but with the help of some friends, I got better at it, they showed me all the tips and tricks for the game, and I was happy, than late May comes along, and we have update 8, which brings in new locations, and most importantly, the Void, which adds a whole new level to the end game content.

     

    The point I am trying to make is that they are making a lot of progress towards completing the game, and I applaud them for that, I am not a very vocal player on the forums, but I for one am more than happy with the direction that this game is going in.

  4. I think I like where this is going, a support tank style of role.

     

    Instead of making the shield a weapon, make it exclusive to the frame, remove the primary weapon slot for the shield, secondary would logically be a single pistol, since it would be pretty hard to do dual pistols while carrying a shield.

     

    But that would raise the point of melee, unless you have the shield as your melee weapon, none of the others would really work properly.

     

    A possible ability set:

     

    Shield Power: restores allied shields by 40%/55%/70% up to a 120% of shields (So the shields can be overcharged by 20%) (35 energy)

    Barrier: Drops a shield barrier for allies to take cover behind that lasts for 30/40/50 seconds(35 energy)

    Iron Shoes: Team is unable to get staggered or knocked down for 15/25/35 seconds (50 energy)

    Radial Blast: Same at the Radial Blast that used to be on the Rhino (100 energy (to bring it into line with all the other Ultimates))

     

    The first three are ones I have come up with and I believe that they are good support powers.

     

    As for the frame stats, being a heavy frame, I would envision that it would share the same stats as Rhino and Frost.

  5. I have had this problem a few times, I bring up the mod screen and start doing fusions to level up my mods, and one card, I would start doing the fusion, but it just won't do it, I keep clicking on the final button, but it does not bring up the "are you sure you want to proceed" box, it only happens for one card, exiting all the way back out to the menus fixes it, it seems to happen at random and on random cards.
