How did you get from "A hot tip on some new product", to Detron? How does one make this logical jump I wonder. Detron isn't even new...
That's rather simple, for the fun of it.
And well the Detron could be considered new i mean it's now for the first time seen in-game carried by the white-suited Corpus Crewmen & it's also in the Codex, all of this does point to a rather imminent release.
Again then people could argue that the Braton Vandal is not available right now, but it was once - so it is in player hands aaand you could also argue that just because it's in the codex that it doesn't mean it's gonna be released soon, but the Fin Sword did get removed from the Codex since it wasn't actually ready yet or just not due to reveal.
So yea, that's my messy train of thought.
EDIT: But it could also just be some new Deal on some Bundles, which would be nice but it wouldn't rock my world.

Good Evening folks.
So, with 11.2.0 my friend and me where actually expecting an event of sorts.
Why you might ask?
In Darvo his last deal, which was the Stalker Pack (quite ironic), he said he had "A hot tip on some new product" - of course i immediately thought that he is talking about the Detron.
Well maybe we where reading too much into this short line there, but hey maybe next wednesday, right?
I mean it would make sense wouldn't it? After all Darvo is a "Trader of Fine Wares" so seeing some Corpus Military Hardware in his Stock wouldn't surprise me that much.
Anyway, even if it's not the Detron i would love to see any event centered around him, i hope we can all agree on that.
Tell me what you think.
EDIT: I am well aware the Magnus got released with this Update, this i just what i was expecting from today's update.

today i thought to myself that i finally wanted to make this sort of thread, i wanted to do this one since U10 but never really got the right wording to do it.
Anyway, what i want to achieve with this thread is simple, just a friendly discussion about how you feel about things.
Also i might be late to the party with this, or maybe not but i wanted to get this off my mind regardless.
Prime Access, The Void Drop Rates (again), Trading, Damage 2.0, DE in General & etc etc etc.
So more or less just your opinion unfiltered how you feel about things.
You get the point, so let me start of by giving you may overall opinion of U11.
It's okay, nothing more & nothing less.
Damage 2.0 is a great addition but lets be real here it's far from done and thus can't really be rated to high for that obvious reason alone. While i do enjoy my Gorgon now more then ever before i really wish they would get a way to sort of "Link" the elemental mods with each other instead of this whole "Mod Hierarchy", but i am sure they will find a way and make this system more fun and more in-depth that it currently is.
The Void Drops rates, oh dear, yeah this isn't anything new as i stated in an older topic of mine (https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/107864-void-oversaturated-or-just-borked/#entry1247771) it's just messy and oversaturated - we desperately need a new game mode or two to somehow mix these up, because it becomes increasingly difficult to get the actual part you want.
People suggested a Token System long ago, but who knows if that idea will ever carry fruits.Trading, well i think i am already extremely byist on this subject matter, since i sold a Maxed Primed Chamber to an extremely friendly fellow (which name will not be named here) but that doesn't mean i like it as it currently is.
The Economy is still very young and goes through growing pains as we speak, but that will probably sort it self out like usually - of course a little help from the Dev's i always welcome.
I am just waiting for BP Trading so i can give my friend my spare Despair BP, because he really badly want's to complete his Stalker Collection, so i am keeping my fingers crossed for that - within reason of course.
Perhaps limit your BP Trades per day, so for 3 Trades 1 of them is allowed to be a BP Trade, sounds great on paper but who knows.
On to Prime Access, ah yes the double edged sword.
I actually don't have a problem with "Pay X amount to get Early Access to stuff" but when the price is this high i wonder, of course i know the price is only this high because of the attached Plat.
Here is where my actual grudge comes, with this many plat going around in these packs and people not having anything to spend it on - doesn't this devalue DE's Real Money Currency? I think it is.
There are people right now out there with 9-11K of Plat, who probably have no idea what to spend it on, well except for buying overpriced mods but whatever.
To be fair, currently Prime Access is perhaps to new to be critically judged, maybe they will tweak things around for Rounds 2 Of Prime Access, but then again nobody knows.
About DE, well i got little to say about them - i mean i like them a lot, they supplied me with a fun game.
But sometimes i scratch my head and ask my self "What the Flip" and have to resort to reading conspiracy theories on the Forums how Steve is probably plotting to take over the world or some stuff like that. *Sigh.*
Anyway that's it folks, hope to hear from your point of view.
TL;DR -
Damage 2.0 = Its okay, with more tweaking it will be great.
Void Rates = Messy stuff, as always.
Trading = Needs Regulation of Sorts & Limited BP Trading
Prime Access = Dunno, can't really nail down my feelings for it.

This is just depressing, i liked Paul a lot as an Actor even if F&F wasn't on top of movie entertainment it was a simple concept that worked.
Regardless, I think there are no proper words to describe how sad his passing is.

As a fan of small but nifty effects like these, i fully support this idea.
I think it would give the player a little bit more feedback on their action.
Also it would look cool.

Who knows what they have planned, but I sure as hell know that it's not going to be a one sided Corpus Barbecue the entire event. (Get it? Barbecue. Napalms. hah.)
DE put more than 5 seconds of thought in to this and players inability to do the same is just sad. Warframe is a video game. It's supposed to be fun. If you're not enjoying it, then why not play something else for a bit?

But no i'm not really whining in the sense of "Oh my god i have to play 100 missions to get stuff, grinding, omg rewards, etc."
I'm rather just expressing myself about the choice in here, because i am rather sensitive to things of that nature.
Also, not sure if you noticed but i stated that i have fun with this event, even if its grindy like previous ones.
But thank you for this rather constructive response that doesn't include swears or calling the OP a $&*#^%.

Youre wrong. bigger party wins in democracy.
You can choose whatever you want, but that does not mean every1 will want that.
What i meant by that is that we can choice what we want, regardless of what the bigger party wants.
Example. I can still choose to drink Soda even though the bigger party wants to drink Lemonade.
Thats why i paragraphed those 2 Statements, they aren't in direct context to each other, hope this makes it a littler clearer.

It's not about winning or losing. It's about standing up for what you believe in. I believe in the Detron. I will give up all my rewards for the Detron, for if I do not, who else will? The Detron is the real winning side, regardless of whether they're victorious or not. You have to be willing to do what's right, not what's going to win.

Well yeah, the illusion of choice, if there is one, is a rather poor one. Zero agency given to the individual player (except maybe for the faction badge reward), it's all one colossal grind, and if you stick to one faction alone, worse for you.
Then again we have to ask, is there any way to make a Event not that colossal Grind? I don't think there is one at the moment with the Modes Provided and people seems to enjoy the grindy-ness.
this event is for the masses.

such a big and normally meaningful word, but this event really flushes this down the toilet.
But let me explain, this event gives us a pseudo 'choice' of two sides by which we are once again bribed by with Battle Pay rewards,
The carrot on the stick just keeps on going and if that's not good enough for you here is this, you have to go with what the masses want - what you and your friends maybe want is meaningless. Personal Choice is removed.
Say you support Corpus because you want the Corpus Hand Cannon or the Vandal Prova, well guess what your Choice is utterly meaningless.
Why? Well let's start with the Battle Pay being in favor of the Grineer, call it RNG, Rigging or whatever, currently it's in the Grineer's favor and i'm okay with that.
But what i am not okay with is that i can't still work towards atleast getting my Corpus Hand Cannon BP, at least that would be cool.
People don't want to have their choices dictated by, that's why we love choice because we can choose what we want, not what the biggest party wants.
Don't get me wrong this is how Democracy works and i am in favor of this.
But your personal time that you invest doesn't seem to matter one bit in this event, no matter how much Corpus Missions you play in the end you get the Grineer Rewards? Why? Because that's how this event seems to work.
I personally don't want my Reward be dictated by other people, i want to determine MY reward, they can determine THEIR reward, that in my opinion would be perfect.
But we aren't getting this.
So i'm gonna suck it up, keep playing my Corpus Mission and just hope for the best.
So that's it, not really hating on DE just expressing my feelings about this Choice thing.
Overall the Event is Fun, but poorly executed like most other Events with mass Confusion and of course Protest.
Anyway, have fun out there guys.
TL;DR - We want personal choice, not choice dictated by the masses.

I can't agree more, usually i try to always play "Devil's Advocate" but this is just way beyond my comprehension.
Why can we farm the other clan resources but not the Mutagen Samples? It makes no god damn sense, this is forcing players to grind for keys, so they can grind for Mutagen Samples.
This boggles my mind, i just.. i don't even.. what?
