In my experience, yes. Because as Frost you can throw up a globe any time you need to stop enemies shooting you and give your shields time to recharge.  I actually use Fast Deflect with him.  Works fine anywhere except sorties with quad damage, where the only form of damage resistance that matters is invulnerability.

The only form of damage resistance that matters is invulnerabilty... What do you use to achieve that personally?

Because of Frost's high base armour, you get more effective HP from vitality compared to redirection since shields don't offer damage mitigation.

Many players probably don't realize this and instead opt for redirection because it results in bigger numbers on the shield/HP bar.

lol, this is what I'm trying to say, but can't z, z. EHP > Shields if you plan to face higher lvled enemies.

As far as I am aware, and the Wiki appears to support me on this, snowglobe scales off of armor and power strength but is unaffected by health.

Yes, thanks for the correction lol, I'm tired. I still believe Vitality is more viable to use, due to his armor in conjuction with additional armor mods. Especially for Hieracon, where Frost is like butter to bread.

Recently, DE updated Warframe with "The Vacuum Effect." At first meters of effect for vacuum was 6 meters and after update two they doubled it to 12. Although, we all know that we want 100+ meters of effect because we can. Le'ts get popularity on this form so we get the attention of DE to fix this "problem."

    Dearest Tenno,

It’s been 3 years of Carrier dominating the Vacuum business, and only recently we've even started a dialog on a topic you've brought up frequently. Experiments (such as The Vacuum Within) typically have 2 sides- you either fail or you succeed. Our previous idea to have universal Vacuum be a 3 Mod makeup was proposed on Devstream #80, to which we then scrapped after acknowledging the copious amounts of “please don’t do that” feedback.

From that, our new idea was to have Vacuum built into every Sentinel with a reduced range. Upon reading the constructive feedback from our Community about The Vacuum Within, it was clear we needed to make some tweaks- and here we have experimental Mutation X! Vacuum is now an equippable Mod (Precept) for all Sentinels. We have also increased the range from 6m to 12m at max rank. All current Sentinel owners will receive this Mod instantly, as well as retroactively with every Sentinel crafted or purchased- much like other default Precepts.

With that being said, we appreciate those that kept the feedback valuable and refrained from death threats. We changed something precious to you, and we will continue to change where needed as we listen to the Community.

PC players can expect this today- stay tuned!!

    Thank you!

Hello Reb, Dani, Dean, & Devs. Hope you are all well.

    My questions would be:

    • What specifically (or as specific as you can be) caused the latest delay to the release of War Within?
    • Will 'The Index' be a complete imitation of Rathuum (Trial/arena etc) or can we expect something completely different?
    • Why did you feel a range decrease to Universal Vacuum was necessary in any way, and what led to that decision?

As many details as you can possibly share would be great. Still enjoy the game a lot, but I would like to hear some details regarding a few of the more 'controversial' decisions lately. Particularly since some of them seem completely arbitrary (range nerf, etc.).  Best to you all, and looking forward to hearing from you.

    +1

    Hello everyone,

Just got back from TennoVIP 2016 (for the record, awesome party) and have a few spare platinum codes to give out (a huge thank you to @(PS4)chewbaccachris for providing more codes).

Currently have 5 7 PC codes, 4 6 PS4 codes and 6 8 Xbox 1 codes that give 340 platinum per code, they are also limited to 1 code per account.

Please only post your interest once, spam posting will not be accepted as extra entries (accidental duplicates are fine, it can happen to anyone) and may disqualify you (based on the severity of it).

This giveaway is not run by DE, it is being run by me in a personal capacity.

This thread will close on the 5th October at 12:00, after I will go through the thread, write out the names by platform and put them into a randomiser to select the winners.

The winners will be notified by PM on the forums and will have 2 days to respond. If you respond in that time, I will reply with the code. If not I'll select another winner.  Once all winners are selected and have replied to me, they will be posted in the thread.

    How generous, thanks.

    Good luck all.

Yeah. I dont think Trinity needs more nerfs instead other warframes should be buff

Yep, I believe that instead of nerfing in-game items/Frames, DE should focus on buffing those that seem inferior to a certain item/Frame. This would allow more diversity since that's what some folks are raving about.

    *This is my opinion*

    Introduction:

      Reveal hidden contents

It is well known that Trinity is the best healer in the game and even after her huge nerf she still the best overall. And I enjoy her a lot, she is very tanky and gives a lot of support. But there are other warframes too like oberon and Equinox and I feel like in the healing department they lack, a lot. So this a list of problems and solutions for the healers warframes.
What I want to be achieved is the level of Trinity or more specific the level of Bless. Trinity has her support (ev and bless) and tankiness (link and bless) so she is not only a healer and the same goes for the rest. So I will separate just the healing powers as they should achieve similar results. Also each healer should be able to be good as healer (some may have some cc or other power but here were discussing just as healers) in raids (8 player mission).

    Inherent Healers:

    Equinox:

      Reveal hidden contents

Problem:  Her mend is powerful but need to be charge and doesnt work in similar way to maim, maim stuns enemies, procs them slash and also store damage to be release later. But in Mend case only can be store damage to be release as a heal later which make the power be bad compare to day form power and to trinity too cause she just needs to press 4.

Solution: Mend on cast starts a small health regeneration that lasts as long as the stun in day form. With this she might be able to close the gap between her cast and the full release of her charged mend.

    Oberon:

      Reveal hidden contents

Problem:  His heal is good but has way too many limitations. It has a duration and also the effect of giving extra time to revive is cut in case the maximum health is reach also while the heal is active it drains energy. So 3 limitations that hurt Renewal overall and its augment too.

Solution:  Get rid off the drain and the insta cut on reaching maximun health, so Renewal will have only duration and also shoots 8 orbs to cover raids too, cause 3 orbs just covers normal missions and leave him out of the posible candidates to healer in raids (8 players mission). With this his augment could be actually useful and more easy to mod.

    Inaros:

      Reveal hidden contents

Problem:  His 4 is very clumky and hard to aim.

Solution: Improve the casting animation, either speed casting or making the projectil shot more clear and easy to notice that the enemies are releasing heals visually, maybe a clear aura.

    Nezha:

      Reveal hidden contents

Problem:  His heal is so bad in so many ways, too short (8m) and too small (225, good luck healing an inaros ._.).

Solution: Regardless if the enemy is kill or not (right now once marked the enemy must be killed with 10 sec to release a heal) each hit of the enemy will release a healing pulse with 30m and 400hp of heal.

    Healer with augment:

      Reveal hidden contents

    Limbo:

      Reveal hidden contents

Problem:  Heal is too small, single use and single target and he cant heal himself.

Solution: Once he cast (like titania can, he should be able to cast on himself, at least for the heal) it creastes a zone of regeneration  with 25m and 50 hp per sec. Im not very sure about this solution but it needs a solution for sure.

    Hydroid:

      Reveal hidden contents

Problem:  His heals requires for him to stay in undertow and is boring and also the range is not that good for raids.

Solution: On getting out of the Undertow the healing zone will remain for 10 secs and overall the healing zone is much bigger then the trap of undertow.

    No.

Just kidding. In all seriousness though, I agree. Instead of nerfing Trin down to the ground, you're suggesting ways to buff/rework Frames with mediocre healing abilities that can be used as an alternative to Trin.

So, patch came out with new contents, one of them was a new Marelok which strangely is weaker than the first version.

I saw it for sale on my Sidearms selection screen and through it was odd, having same status than the other one but lower damage. Is this intended or a glitch?

Here is a ScreenShot i took with the original Marelok equiped and comparing the damage to the other one:

I thought you were asking for Twin Vaykor Mareloks....

    The Silver Grove: U3 Ayatan

    Additions:
    4bcZI5H.jpg

    Ayatan Treasures are here!
Ayatan Treasures will let you become a procurer, collector, and trader of ornate Orokin artifacts. Hunt them like Indiana Jones via special missions given to you by Maroo, or find them during your regular excursions.

There are two new terms to familiarize yourself with: Sculptures and Stars.
The individual Sculptures and Stars have several variations of rarity and value. Sculptures, which are more valuable, can be completed by socketing in the appropriate types of Stars.

Maroo will pay handsomely in Endo for your Ayatan treasures, but she’ll offer more for completed Sculptures. You’ll have to decide whether you want a quick payout or wait for the big prize and complete your Sculpture. If Endo isn’t what you desire most, you can keep your collection on display in your Landing Craft or trade your treasures with other Tenno.

Finding Ayatan treasures in regular missions will be rare, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you can speak with Maroo for a special weekly treasure hunt mission that will test your coordination, speed, and mobility. If you enjoy the more leisurely approach to art collecting, you can always have other Tenno do the work for you and acquire your treasure through the trade system. Whatever your method of procurement, once you have a piece of Ayatan treasure, what you do with it will be up to you.

    Resource Caches/Crates!
Harvest and collect Resources from the world around you! Enemies, lockers and crates will continue to drop Resources, and now you can collect additional Resources by harvesting from the new Resource Caches. All default 'Resource cakes' have been replaced with actual representations of the Resources you're picking up!

    Manduka Operator Suit
Pick up the latest in Operator attire. The Manduka Outfit is now available!

    - The Void is now an eligible region for Alerts! Alerts that occur in the Void will have a chance to include Void Traces as a reward!
    - Endo rewards in Alerts now scale to enemy level, with values of 80,100, and 150 Endo for Easy / Medium / Hard enemies!
    - You can now select (opt-in to) a ‘Wait For Players’ option when a quickmatch session is not found.
    - The Top 20 winners from the Codex Art Contest 3.0 have been added (more to come)!

    Changes:
    - Improved performance and stability during long missions.
    - Reduced memory footprint in missions by about 20MB for 32-bit systems (more for 64-bit).
    - Rounded the HUD display of the Peaceful Provocation Equinox Augment Mod percentage.
    - Polarizing now attempts to keep as many Mods equipped as it can instead of removing all of them. Priority is given to Mods in earlier slots.
    - Improved performance issues when entering the Arsenal.
    - Increased the hit box size for Grineer Sensor Bars.

    Fixes:
    - Fixed being booted back to the Navigation screen upon the Host freezing during mission load-in.
    - Fixed a rare bug that would keep particle effects going forever (eg: Tar-Mutalist Moa bombs stuck perpetually dissolving).
    - Fixed leaking channelling effects that would stick around if an enemy was killed while performing a channeling attack (Grineer Guardsmen did this regularly).
    - Fixed being affected by Freeze status effects when attempting to melee block the attack.
    - Fixed blocking procs with the Sancti Magistar resulting in being stuck in place due to proc blocking, and can often be stuck until you are downed.
    - Fixed a missing text space in the Invasion reward description.
    - Fixed extra "+X% DAMAGE" text on the Pistol Amp Aura Mod description.
    - Fixed Arsenal camera and rotation not working properly in Relays.
    - Fixed taller Infested enemies getting stuck in Defense tileset spawn areas.
    - Fixed a script-error caused by Flamethrower wielding enemies (Scorch, Hyekka Master).
    - Fixed a script-error that would occur if the target was destroyed while a Bursa was winding up.
    - Fixed motion blur masking only being visible on bright objects and is now much more punchy than before! (Reminder: Display Settings has option for motion blur)
    - Fixed mods dropping disproportionately often from Infested Runners.
    - Fixed pillar decorations appearing incorrectly in Grineer Galleon tilesets.
    - Fixed a water texture issue in Grineer Settlement tilesets.
    - Fixed item pick-ups floating.
    - Fixed floor collisions in the Earth tileset.
    - Fixed a case of loot crates being inaccessible.
    - Fixed a crash related to Mesa’s Peacemaker.
    - Fixed a crash when selecting a Profile Icon.

    This is pretty pucking great.

So after much procrastination and several bouts of existential angst, I finally decided to give Chroma a try, Five forma later and my build is finally done however there's one problem, I'm an artist, not a mathematician.

    Here's my build:

    6B7F5588FAA6EC9194F02FBC75ECB0FE5D57C2E7

I have all this plus a max rank arcane guardian.

Can I ask someone to calculate what my Chroma's EHP would be on both a fire and ice build, as well as with a proc of arcane guardian, thank you!

I'd assist you, but not in this public forum. DE and those who may want our beloved Chroma nerfed to the ground are watching @, @.

    That's satire btw.
