  1. Topic. The parkour mods have some really stunning visual effects. I think they can help add even more flavor to frames by having them be affected by energy color.

Here's an example of its current state using Battering Maneuver's bullet jump:

Right now, all of the Impact / Puncture / Slash parkour mods are defaulted to an bronze / orange color. All of the elemental colors are defaulted to their proc effect colors. I personally would love for these to match our chosen frame's energy color.

I cannot put into words how much I desire this weapon. But thinking about it, I can't help but feel like we're probably getting a Dex Sybaris because of Quiette Shy. Her fangirling over it and all.

I think the fact that Dex weapons have come in pairs (2 Furis, & 2 Dakras) makes a little bit more sense, considering the Sybaris fires a 2-round burst. Tigris would have made a good contender too if it didn't already have the Sancti version.

That aside, I echo your enthusiasm and can't wait for this one to come out!

  3. Was checking out some of the new tilesets on the Moon. That place is absolutely stunning. Found some interesting stuff. I'm no lore buff-- but anyone wanna speculate on what's going on?

    Here's the tileset:

Saw these blue spirit looking things wandering around-- seemingly linking up to the white vines / wiring that permeates every Orokin / Tenno related tile:

Closer look at them-- they're definitely humanoid:

    Ideas?

  4. Ability to make sigils smaller / bigger than they currently are.

Ability to put sigils / badges on our weapons.

Ability to save sigil configurations to transfer between frames (turning the Steel Meridian sigils to be perfectly vertical on every frame is a struggle)

Ability to individually choose energy color for abilities.

Ability to toggle energy opacity for abilities.

Ability to "mix" energy colors for multiple energy colors coursing through things at once (Silva & Aegis used to be able to do this. Not sure if it was changed. Misa Prime kiiiiind of does this).

Lighting options in the Liset while customizing frames.

  5. Call me crazy but I still (and have been advocating this for while) believe that sword & board style weapons should have the unique perk of being able to block while we have our primaries / secondaries out. This is a function we used to have before melee 2.0. I think it would make sense for this class of weapons since the shields are always on our wrist anyways.

  6. Just ran a Ceres exterminate with Loki & Orthos P (Greater Zenurik Lens on both). Affinity booster was also equipped. This was one of my first missions after reset, so I did not hit my cap either. I did another mission after and was still receiving focus.

I managed to string a Convergence chain that netted me ~20k focus:

but in the mission results, the total focus I gained was ~13k:

    Am I missing something?

  7. The bones for the skeletons look to line up pretty much 1 for 1/joint for joint.

Anyway, the skin looks pretty fantastic,  but it's gonna be awhile before I have the plat to drop on it. At least it isn't as disappointing as the new Trinity skin (though the dog armor from that pack looks pretty awesome).

Yes, but I'm not referring to the skeleton / rigging / whatever technical term it goes by. All warframes follow that same skeleton. I'm referring more to the comparative bulk / thickness of the models, if that wasn't previously clear.

What I mean to say is that it's possible for the deluxe skin to be more slender, as the original is already at that point. It would match the concept more closely, and IMO would be more visually appealing, and make me more likely to purchase it.

  8. My main issue is the proportions of the 3d model in relation to the concept. She's noticeably thicker-- which is odd considering that stock Banshee isn't even this thick.

Was really looking forward to this skin, but right now I'm not so hyped anymore. The concept art was gorgeous. Strega's was too, and they did amazing on that. I wonder if they'll be able to touch it up to that quality level by its release.

  9. I just wish broken windows did MORE. Like, if I see a group of enemies huddled in that room, and I make a conscious effort to shoot the window before entering, locking them in that room with a broken window leading directly into open space, that room had better be cleared out when I hack the shutters closed.

I also wish syndicate explosions didn't break them. I could be having a clean fight in that room when my Hek suddenly sneezes an explosion and forces a lockdown.

  10. I will say this-- the old Hek sound used to sound exactly the same between speakers and headphones.

The new SFX sounds airy and muddy on speakers, but rich and powerful on headphones. (Both my speakers & headphones were in the ballpark of $200, so they're not tin cans, but they're not ultra high-end either. I would think they can both pick up on all the details?)

This probably goes hand in hand with having more sophisticated technology, but just my impressions.

  11. Wow, a topic on gunplay? I thought I was the only one who felt this way. In fact, I made a huge topic on it (pertaining to shotguns around the time the Redeemer was released), and all those changes were implemented in the shotgun patch. It took a year or so, but it was definitely on their radar. Hopefully that kind of satisfactory player feedback can exist for the rest of the weapons too.

One of the major components of it that you mentioned is recoil-- a lot of guns just straight up lack it. Boltor Prime fires enormous bolts that crucify enemies by the group? No recoil. Tigris fires world ending shells that kill things so hard they spawn a second time and die again (now removed :()? No recoil. Feels like laser tag.

The cheesy death animations are super annoying too. They're seriously the main reason I run punch through on every gun. Makes it even more hilarious when I kill 4-5 enemies in a line all with the same shot and they ALL synchronize the same "OOOH YOU GOT ME! *arms in the air for maximum screen time*" immersion breaking animation.

Really hope this gets some attention. Feel really is a huge part of gameplay. Killing Floor is a great example of a game that's differentiated itself from other horde shooters off of its wonderfully heavy and robust gunplay.

Great topic, and +1 to you.
