  1. I'd actually have to disagree with you, changing her ulti to what you suggest would be too overpowered. Yes hysteria needs to be tweaked, its current damage output is a little lack luster, but that is made up for the fact she is invincible with cc immunity for the time its active.

    Another valkyr thread suggested changing the 3 ability to do aoe fear or armour/damage reduction to enemies and while active melee attacks grant x amount of health/slight health regen.

     

    I initially thought about this too, however, her 2 already debuffs enemies, so why not add it to that? Additionally, the problem I stated is that while in that form, unless you constantly sprint, its difficult to catch some enemies, so health regen based on melee still would be spotty unless she was faster, or unless the melee attacks were wider.

     

    Edit: One more thing is that if only the enemies that get hit with the 3 skill give HP back, what if allies kill them before you get a chance to get them?

  2. So, lets just get this out of the way now. I LIKE Valkyr. I love her idea as a frame. She's fun to use, and she's mobile. But don't let this fool you, She's in some need of tweaking. I feel like she has a lot of potential, too much potential in fact. Too much potential that isn't being used, and that's kind of upsetting. I think after the past few days or so of using her, a lot of us have already realized this. So, what to do then?

     

    I've seen a lot of smaller suggestions as to how to fix her, but nothing really solid yet. So I thought here is where I would finally put out some of my ideas as to how to make her that bit more special. First of all, lets get out of the way her Ultimate, Hysteria. I think as of now, it is a really great ultimate, dishing out tons of damage while being invincible. The invincibility extends past just her soaking up damage, its also really nice to use to pick up allies. But if this is her ultimate, her supposed main skill, what defines her, shouldn't her skills be a bit more centered around it? This is what I propose:

     

    ===Hysteria===

    Cost: 100

    Effect: Causes her to go into a blind rage, destroying all that would stand in her path. She absorbs 600/1200/1800/2400 damage (boosted by Power Strength) while in this state and is immune to all CC. The skill lasts for  15/20/25/30 seconds. While starting and ending the skill, enemies within 5/5/5/5 meters of her are Feared for 1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds. She recovers 15/30/45/60% of her maximum health over the course of the skill. Her other skills gain additional effects while used in Hysteria(Maybe?). (Or instead of recovering health incrementally, give her  the ability to heal every time she kills an enemy, possibly 5% per enemy at max level. It would make her work for her recovery, but something would still need to be done about 3)

     

    Hysteria Melee Attacks:

    Regular tap - 4 punch combo, ends in a shockwave that hits enemies in an AoE in front of her.

    Charge - Launches a Fist shaped Projectile wherever she is facing, traveling 10 meters and piercing through enemies. It does 100% damage to the first and 50% damage to each subsequent enemy.

    Spin Attack - A spinning Hook punch that swings in a wide arc and hits enemies hard, knocking them down.

    Wall attack - Same as current

    Floor finisher - She punches through the enemies chest, tearing internal organs and instantly killing who she hits with it. Has a 3 second timer to avoid being spammed.

     

    (Floor finisher is a bit OP, but I still stand by me saying that a charge attack would be nice. Killing ospreys in this form is a nightmare.)

     

     

    Her Hysteria needed tweaks because from what I've seen, when activated her punches cant really propel her far enough from enemy to enemy unless she's sped up like crazy. Also, She currently has nothing to recover her meager health, and her shields certainly aren't going to help, so why not rely on her ultimate as the perfect tool? And since She's going to be in this state for probably quite a while, she cant be 100% invincible, or else she may become overpowered really fast. At least with a damage shield (that can be boosted), she isn't vulnerable, but she also isn't 100% unkillable.

     

    I still have ideas as to what to make her other skills do while in Hysteria, but I wanted to know what feedback you all had on this idea as it was. Let me know your ideas as well. Thank you for your time.

  3. - Loki's Radial Disarm against infested locked me into a "Power in use" state until the mission finished, also could not use melee weapon. I might have been staggered during the casting as well, could have been from that too. Either way I was locked into "power in use"

  4. Do you have an Dragon key equipped?

    Like the .... lets say the Extinguished Dragon key, whick reduces your damage by 75%?

    Just a thought. ;))

    I didnt realize:

    A) That the nerf applied outside the Derelict and

    B) That I even had one on.

  5. Anyone elses Lanka feel really... not powerful today? With my unmodded Lanka on Mercury, I cant hit anything over a 62 on Grineer, even though the charge damage is supposed to be 250. Even the tool tip on it in the Armory says 62 damage also. Its just I've had this weapon for a few days and I could have sworn the damage was better than this. I was dealing 2k+ crits the other day with just a few mods on it, and now I cant even crit for 500.

     

    I don't know, maybe its just me.

I started as corpus, but seeing Alad V being a tool, I decided to go with being a mercenary, killing both as I please and taking the spoils for myself.  If I had to go with a Lore side, I'd say Corpus mostly, because the grineer is a bigger threat. Harder to kill, more spread through the system. Weakening them just seems like a better move in general, especially when the alternative is letting them get stronger. That and They've kinda marked us for extinction anyway soo... I'm not seeing how losing a few tenno is affecting us much versus Extinction.

     

    Gameplay however, Grineer is for me, because playing with just me and another friend, Corpus missions average time is 5-6 mins due to tougher enemies and more heavies, and the Grineer mission average time is 2-3 mins when I can go as mag, use one pull and clear an entire room easily. So basically I just kill for whoever has the better reward. If they're even, then Grineer due to ease of missions.

  7. I kinda find more often than not that If nova is played correctly, She's MUCH more devastating working with her team rather than on her own. I'll give some examples.

     

    ON Narcissus, wave 20+, Corpus are hard to take down because... well, Shields, ospreys, and Rail gun moas and whatnot. However a friend and I were working together. I'd run into the group and M.prime them all. He'd use Roar and Rhino stomp. Instant double damage plus the extra from roar could instantly clear out waves, and anything left over the explosions would take care of.

     

    Or another is I was working with a Vauban. He was using his Vortex (YES VORTEX) and grouping up the enemies on Xini. When he had a decent group in his clutches, I'd use Anti-matter drop, and we'd pump bullets into it like crazy, and I'd crash it into the vortex group. Much more fun that way when we can combine our strengths. (I also kind of feel like everyone who contributes into the damage of Anti-matter drop should get kill counts too, but thats something different altogether.)

     

    Novas that purposely work solo in group missions (As someone said, using only lvl 1 wormhole and the like) are kind jerks. Its much more fun to work with a team rather than against them.

  8. this mod is a troll meaning its a fake if u accept u will not get it since it is a fake and in which do not exist in the game except for the troll picture of it

     I found this out the hard way unfortunately.  But the problem is, its the only reward that shows up past wave 5 for me.

    Why thank you. I agree, there has been a lot of rude topics lately, and while I understand their frustrations, there are better ways to get a point across.

  10. From the way DE has their cash shop set up is seems to be meant for people who want to enjoy the game and have money to spare but don't have the time to spare. Either way though I don't think we should be complaining about this, I know people who have already bought some materials because they didn't have time for farming and also a good portion of the community has been asking for a way to purchase materials, or when you don't have time for a void key but you need some credits fast to start a new weapon/warframe and have the cash to spend you just throw a little that way and when you get back a little fun awaits.

     

    Well, like I said Maybe its just me, if other people want to buy it thats fine. I dont play on spending plat on creds at all, just because I dont need to. I just felt like the prices were a bit too steep. And I mean, we're kinda allowed to complain, its giving feedback to them. To a point anyway.

  11. A group of us did a Nightmare mission. Wave 5, we got a new, rare mod like normal. However, for waves 10-20, we got something called "Ancient Retribution." And this didnt just happen once, it happened twice. One mission to wave 15 and once to wave 20. When this mod is gotten, nothing appears in your inventory, as if you'd chosen nothing at all.

     

    Edit: I should probably say this happened on Venera, Venus.

  12. Yeah, pretty much all of this. Theres no reason to get 90 plat for 30k creds if you can get 75 plat for keys, and get three times that much. Assuming you get more than one T3 key. But isnt there supposed to be one guaranteed T3? That right there guarantees more than the plat to cred bundle.

  13.  I like the majority of U9. New warframe looks fun, even though I don't have her, Vor is cool, maybe need to tone him down a bit, after seeing reports of lvl 121-111 Vor. Only things I'm really displeased by are two things. One is the aura system, and I believe the other forum goers have already.... expressed their opinions on that matter.

     

    The other is this new plat to cred bundles. 

     

    I know some people have been asking for this, and I find the concept okay. However, the prices seem a bit steep for such little credits. I mean, 90 platinum for only 30k credits? That's very very steep. Maybe 90k for 100k-300k wouldn't be bad, but as it is, this is very expensive. That being said, maybe its not as big of a deal as I make it out to be,  because no one else had seemed to notice it. 

     

    One last thing is the materials price. I'm okay with most of it, but the rarer materials being 10 plat for only 1?

     

    Ah well. Maybe its just me. Just thought I'd give a little feedback.

     

    Edit: Felt like saying the reason I believe this is an issue is because its so easy to round up 30k credits, from 1-2 missons of T2 void, and heck, T3 gives Twice+ that amount easily. So for platinum, I feel like it should be spend on something we cant get within 15 minutes or so.
