Months...for an average/casual player. The no-lifers are always going to come in earlier than projected.
-
I prefer Carcinnox. Even the crazy heat ones.
The lower range weapons just feel bad as a turret gunner - often enough there is nothing in range and since gunners cannot close the gap on a target we just sit there waiting for something to get close.
-
They stated that what we have now is the first phase of the RJ system. The rest will come over time. Its not all in yet, be patient.
-
Because just like many systems in other games, RJ is a game system that is designed for semi-endgame/endgame play. Pretty much that simple.
-
Just by joining others RJ crews over the past couple weeks I have over 9999 carbides, not sure what the actual number is. In general resource intake on Earth is fairly low. Saturn is where resources really start coming in bulk.
-
Likely this will never happen, just due to the logistics of having to deal with loading/loaded decorations during an active mission. There are interactions on-board the ship (fire, boarding, breaches, etc) that, common sense tells me, will not work well with a decor system active.
-
Always refine and also, when you get to higher mission levels (even around Earth), pustrels drop way more often 😃
I went from ~300 to nearly 7000 in roughly two day's play sessions just crewing random groups on high Earth nodes and low to mid Saturn nodes. They're def out there.

So please, don't kid yourself or be so quick to dismiss people criticising the game because you think they are whiners. How about you appreciate the fact that they may have a legitimate critique that DE needs to listen to. It might end up improving your game enjoyment too.
I don't recall dismissing criticism - I simply noted that much of it is beating one's head against a wall. For every valid criticism there are several others who are just whining because that's what they do. 'This grind is insane' quickly turns into 'There's nothing left for me to do'. We've been hearing it for years and its tiresome. Warframe is just a video game - one can walk away from it at any time and come back later if they choose. Harping on something that isn't fundamentally going to change is a waste of time.

Its an ongoing process. Expect RJ content to be tweaked and worked on for some time to come. DE is well aware the release has its issues.

Psst, grinding for the sake of grinding is not something to do. It is a waste of your time, because it is not enjoyable. The difference of something to do that has grind and is enjoyable content, and something to do that is grind for the sake of grind, is a massive difference. I do appreciate your disingenuous attitude though.
Well, like anything in life - some folks enjoy some things and others dont. For every person that hates Liches or Railjack, theres a person who likes them. Your grind may not be my grind and vice versa.
Warframes core hasn't changed since the beginning - repeat content segments for loot drops to construct equipment so you can repeat content segments for loot drops to construct equipment so you can...
Anyone who has played WF for more than a day knows this - expecting the core gameplay loop to change significantly at this point, is simply unrealistic. People who complain about it are just beating their heads against the wall. Warframe is the tiger and grinding for loot is its stripes.

There's nothing to do!
There's too much grind!
There's nothing to do!
There's too much grind!
Repeat the whine, ad nauseum.

Not really, boosting in Armored Core felt responsive, but Archwing feels very limited as you cannot actively dodge, shoot down incoming missiles, dash into melee, overboost across the battlefield, and repeat the process. Right now we can blink forward, dodge (if you can even call it that) left/right, move slowly up or down, and that's about it. I actually have less control using archwing than I do with my Warframe. I guess if you never experienced better it can feel good, but Armored Core beat Archwing 10 years ago.
Yes really, in my opinion. Perhaps on consoles it feels less responsive - but with M/K, I can effectively turn and blink away, basically as fast as I want to.
Also, what does this have to do with Armored Core? Archwing is a glorified jet pack - not a hyper-mobile anime-style mecha.

"RNG stats, a bad practice in games with loot."
I'm guessing you're entirely unfamiliar with the general loot structure of the ARPG, looter shooter and MMO genres? =P

I love it, feels way more fluid than before - thats not to say I hated it before - but the precision of control we have now is fantastic.

learn to loot the map and drop from enemies.
I am not trolling, there is insane amount of resources around the map that public squad are usualy unable to cooperatively loot and they just left it behind.
This - so many folks are ready to just take off after the objective is complete. They either don't know or don't care that there are *hundreds* of resources out there to be gathered if you spend a few more minutes 'winging around the map.

Like some other parts of WF - Railjack isn't intended for new players - I think we all knew that before it released.
What does it bring to the game? Currently just a new starship system to play and get familiarized with - which we know will be further integrated as the New War content moves along. I don't see why it makes 'the direction of the game questionable' at all. If all you want is a corridor/horde shooter - we already have that in spades.
Not everyone is going to like every facet of every game - that's a given - but stop acting like Railjack is entirely useless and unwanted.
-
Oh look, another overly dramatic thread title ><
-
This gets mused over every so often. Its pretty simple, PVP in Warframe is the way it is because most folks don't care about PVP in Warframe. Thats really the bottom line.

Except for the fact that the orbiter is likely much bigger than the Railjack, judging from the old concept art.
-
OP, don't you know? These days, any time a new game or update comes out, the first month all you see is *@##$ing and moaning, whether its actually warranted or not.
Gamers absolutely excel at complaining.

In terms of tech - Im fairly sure the idea is that the Railjack is meant to be used for the majority of ship to ship combat. While Archwings *can* engage ships, the reality is its still a guy(frame) with a jetpack vs a dedicated space-faring starship, even if its a smaller one like a fighter. Under that premise I wouldn't expect Archwings to be a one to one counter for fighters.
Guys we need to talk about this for railjacks sake
