There's no reason to keep it.

No one likes it, it's repetitive, thinly plotted, lacking any sort of real substance worthy of an event, and it makes everything else on the plains unplayable.

The way that infested AI and the spawning works is probably the most anti-fun mechanic in the game. Even when you're invisible/stealthed, they still run towards you like they know you're there and just stand right on top of you, and more often then not, the Grineer start shooting at you, firing rockets and mortar rounds right on top of your face just because the infested AI is so garbage. Not only, but regardless of where you are, infested spawn points spawn location follows you, so they WILL purposely get in your way regardless of what you're doing.

There is nothing redeemable about the Plague Star event and absolutely no reason to keep it. Can we just end it early?

And yes I'm pissed, I'm all burnt out on Warframe and the plains is the only thing I still play Warframe for, and even that, DE's carelessness will cuck you over.

So DE should end the event early just for you eh? "No one likes it" - so you've personally spoken with every Warframe player to get this data? Judging from the crowds around Nakak, I'd say your estimation is wrong. And by the way - ALL Warframe events are repetitive.

Seriously, step away from the game for a while, if you're burnt, walk away. Ive been playing since the get go and I take months off at a time - the grind and repetition can grind you down if you dont.

How about changing Peacemaker to require you to build up a secondary resource in the form of a meter (similar HUD element to Nidus).

Scoring headshots give you more 'Peace', thus it will reward skillful gameplay more. Of course using Secondary weapon will give a bonus too.

As a tradeoff, the energy cost can be removed since it will cost meter instead. This way players will be encouraged to use Peacemaker less as a replacement for firing their weapon and more as a compliment to their weapons. You can also it 360 degrees again since players will not be able to spam it nonstop.

    More ideas:

Use Ballistic Battery during Peacemaker mode and Mesa will revert to manual aiming and fire a single extremely powerful shot from her Regulators. If you score a headshot with this shot, it will instantly recharge the Peacemaker meter to full.

How about no. She doesn't need any adjustment.

She literally just has to hit her buttons, and congratulations.

That describes a whole sub-section of frames. Congratulations.

Mesa is just fine as she is. She excels in some places and is kinda crap in others. "Newb" she is most definitely not.

  4. To be fair, some of us suck pretty bad at the actual infiltration and/or hacking part - better we hang out and let those who are better at it run those segments - or would you rather us go ahead and try anyway, knowing there's a decent chance of failure? I usually let the team know why Im hanging back - and Ive never run into a group yet that had any problem with it.

Im not saying there arent leechers, but before you paint with a broad stroke - consider what Ive said.

  5. Fluff-wise: Simaris maintains the Simulacrum in his room aboard the relays - thats why. The captures we perform for him are to help him populate *his* simulated Sanctuary of data. When we use it, we're simply borrowing *his* construct. We didnt buy the Simulacrum, just a key to access it.

Likely, our ship would require at least enough space to mimic his room and most likely his presence as well, to use the Simulacrum there.

Mechanic-wise: its another reason to keep Relays a useful item and keep them relevant. If we could access Relay assets directly from the ship - who would ever bother going to them?

  6. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience - personally I had zero issues and quite enjoyed the mission - its really not even close to as bad as you make it out to be. Its not so much a 'other people have no problems' thing as it is a 'the majority of people have no problems' thing. Frankly it seems you're just being overly critical about something you personally didn't enjoy - not so much that the mission itself is flawed.

I dont have anything against a proper challenge, but Warframe needs a complete enemy rebalancing/overhaul more than ever.

This just simply isnt true. I'm able to solo nearly all PoE content (with a little effort) with pretty much any frame Ive taken out there. You need to plan accordingly - you cannot just grab any old loadout and expect it to work on the plains. Also, squading up helps immensely.

Its a grineer warzone for all practical purposes. They're dug in, they have mounted weapons, they have artillery. You have to hit those guns first or they'll tear you up. Tusk bombards are also a priority-one target.

Screen shake, just disable it, but dont tell us the mobs need rebalance - because they dont. You need to adapt your strategy. Not trying to be rude, but its the truth, the AOE is only bad if you allow it to be bad.

I can pay to skip crafting, you have limited syndicate badges to stockpile so the cap is meaningful to keep you playing the game, PoE standing doesn't serve the purpose of keeping you playing the game for days, you can literally stop playing PoE once you get enough fish

So? I dont see why that means it shouldn't be gated like the rest of the standing caps.

Actually, you stop playing PoE once you have everything the Ostrons, Quills and, unrelated to standing cap, bounties offer - which does indeed require you to keep playing for a good while, if I'm following your logic.

Bottom line - Its safe to assume anything using the standing system will always have a daily cap, whether or not it may make sense to you doesn't really matter.

You can stockpile fishes and core in one day and spend another 7 days to turn them into standings, so what is the point on the daily cap other than time-gating us?

if you can reset the cap with plat this make sense but you cannot

Unless you started playing Warframe right before making this post - I'd think you'd understand why...

Time gated crafting. Time gated dojo contruction. Time gated mastery retries. Time gated Conclave standing. Time gated Syndicate standing. Did you really think PoE standings would be any different?

people really need to stop seeing Umbra in everything

Seriously, bravo. The obsession with Umbra is something I just dont understand. Yes hes neat lookin, yes Im curious to see what lore might be attached to him, yes I want him too - but seeing him behind everything DE does now...its a little ridiculous.
