  1. Well I've basically stopped playing the game due to it's recent mastery gating and Exilus slots but I still care about it so lets talk about multishot. 

     

    I actually like the idea of multishot increasing ammo consumption I just think that we need an equally broad and dramatic buff to accompany it. Has anyone else noticed that the reload time on nearly every WF weapon is extremely long? I think if we cut the reload time by 50% and increase the magazine size by 33% - 50% depending on the weapon multishot would be balanced. This way multishot is a new mechanic rather than a straight up nerf. That reload time is a big one, ive felt for a long time that the long reload times in this game ruin the flow of combat. 

  2. Grinding in Warfarm is the content.

    Over 80% of the weapons are "mastery fodder" so the only reason to level them is the Grind.

     

    so yes, Warfarm is 100% pay to win, but if you buy every Weapon and frame, then go on player trade and buy every Prime and Mod already maxed out.....

     

    then what?   you just paid to remove the reason you play the game??

    Embrace the grind, once you know your playing warfarm

    Anger - You can buy EVERYTHING with platinum

    Bargaining -  but but but you can also grind everything its not pay to win...

    Depression - I am only grinding Paracyst because I want mastery rank 20 why de why

    Acceptance - This is Warfarm! I play it for the grind! I like to grind!

     

    Well lol I can respect this sentiment, at least it's honest.

     

    Can't hit the acceptance stage on this though, so maybe I really should stop playing. I'll be happy to have done so when the I check an update and see the Prisma Ogris has a mastery rank of 30 and every weapon or pet has an Exilus slot to farm... DE has been pushing it just slowly enough to keep me in the game. At this point I'm playing more for the time and money I've invested than anything else.

  3. Think about is this way guys, take two new WF players of equal skill level. Give one of them 1000 platnum and tell him how to use it. Send them to the conclave. I think you would have a lot of trouble arguing to the new player without plat that the game isn't p2w. 

  4. Exilus slot.... okay, you need 23 currently in total if you don't want to keep non primed versions of the already primed frames.

     

    At your MR it means 96 consecutive days of a daily 10 minute routine.

     

    Sounds bad, but do you actualy own every warframe? Let alone play with them all that much that you suddenly need an Exilus slot for them? Especially that it needs around 1-2 extra forma per build to fit them in properly.

     

    Sorry but from where I stand it seems you want everything to the max immediately. That is not how Warframe works. It never worked like that.

    I never said i needed everything maxed immediately but grinding for even 2 exilus slots is wayyyyyyy too long.  

  5. This. P2W games creates a large imbalance between paying and non-paying players. Paying players will have access to equipment, powers, and upgrades that non-paying players can only dream about. In WF, when you join a random with 3 others, can you really tell who is a paying or non-paying player? No, you can't, since non-paying players can be as strong or even stronger than paying players.

    Oh I can tell lol. you can be just as strong but it takes a hell of a lot longer

  6. no offense, but if you spent 1,5k hours leveling things and got to MR 11, that's a bit unproductive. i have around 1,2k hours and i'm at MR 16, besides, high MR weapons are a needed thing, because once you got past mr 10, there was pretty much no reason to continue.

    That only makes sense if the ultimate purpose of the game is to level trash you don't even want to use. If thats the case WF's end game is Draco grinding. 

  7. Exilus really doesn't effect things that much.

    Also, you do realise that if we had no incentive to pay for things ever then DE wouldn't have money to fund development.

    There has to be some incentive.

     

    Its pay for convenience, not P2W, no matter how you twist it.

    You can't just straight up change the definition of things to make a point.

    There is a continuum between f2p and p2w, very few games fit either extreme. The greater the grind is to get things that strongly affect the gameplay the closer to p2w the game becomes. On the other end you become less p2w when the things you pay for have a smaller affect on gameplay, things like cosmetics for example. In a "space ninja" game in which most players rely on movement a slot that affects things like mobility affects gameplay considerably. Therefore the game becomes more p2w.

  8. You wot? You can't pay for mastery rank, you still have to grind those in Draco.

     

    Also, Exilus slot isn't even a necessity that make missions a walk in the park. No way in hell that's pay to win.

    You pay for the slots, yes you have to level the weapons which is again stupid but purchasing plat accelerates the process considerably. Exilus isn't essential but nearly nothing is. You can beat most content in the game with a 6 forma mk1 braton that doesnt mean the game is f2p just because anyone can access it. Bottom line the Exilus slot is an addition that strongly affects game play, in such a way that paying for it should not be so preferential to grinding for it

  9. I know y'all hate to hear it but this is getting a little extreme.

     

    First we got the exilus slot which requires a full quest, Simaris faction grind as well as 2 forma and 1 argon crystal to build. That's a lot of work or you can have fun grinding out mods, prime parts etc to sell them on trade chat and just hope people are buying for fair prices so you can get enough plat to buy one. Much easier just to fork over cash to DE.

    Now they made the new syndicate weapons locked behind mastery rank 12? Seriously?! It's bad enough you have to grind out so much faction for the damn things but i can understand that. Now I have to grind out parts and stuff to sell for plat so i can buy slots, so i can level weapons I don't even want just to even access these?

     

    I figured they would keep the MR requirements low so we wouldn't be running into this. I'm MR 11 and I don't level weapons for no reason, at 1500 hours of gameplay grinding unwanted weapons makes the game drag. If they keep this up we will be seeing weapons rank locked at 30 or perhaps someday even further. 

     

    Infinite grind or pay, is p2w for all intents and purposes. If this trend continues I'll probably quit the game. I really hate to do that but DE had me feeling like a fool when I spent my plat on those exilus slots. I figured, well this is DE give them a mulligan, I doubt they will push this further. I know i was fooling myself though, the weapons are bound to get utility slots too and mastery rank has continually been rising. Players should be paying because they like the game and they are having fun, not because they have spent so much time on it they feel attached to it even when it's raiding their wallet. 

  10. Okay I tested the aforementioned weapons vs my despair which is still silent. So basically they alert the enemy. Everyone gets into a fighting stance and one or two run off to set off the alarm. However they don't fire back in the direction of the attack blindly at my original loki as they used to. Seems like a buff to stealth in general but a slight nerf to these weapons which used to be straight up silent. The despair by comparison doesn't even alert them, they walk around as though nothing happened

  11. I'll go through and check to see if its just a ui bug. I know for sure its not with the ogris. I really hope thats all it is though. I dont have any room foe the augment. All my slots are full and i use a high duration but max range build so I barely even have room for durability with eradiating disarm.

  12. So... I noticed with U 16 all of my stealth weapons which I formaed to death are no longer silent. Latron wraith, telos akbolto, ogris and synoid gammacor are all now alerting. I dont so much mind the ogris but I formaed these to death because I hate bows but I love running around invisible with ash and loki.

    Ps I dont know what category to put this in so feel free to move it.

  13. First of all apologies in advance in typing this on my phone so there will be typos.

    Let me start by saying first that I applaud the huge amounts of effort put into this patch I was a bit melodramatic on the regional chat. Had an argument with kickbot actually and it ended with him calling me a fool.

    So one of the things I love on this patch are the new particle effects for amd cards. I know this does apply to everyone but its a hhhhhuuuugggeee deal to me. I have waited forever for this and it didn't really hut my fps.

    I also like the accuracy changes. They still need work but I find them to be much closer to the balance in looking for.

    The spy missions are just great I hope we can see more stuff like this maybe even integrated into other mission types for stealth purposes. Very well thought out direction on stealth that I hadn't even considered possible. I'm not saying its going to revolutionize the game but its a good creative direction.

    The new void trader items are kind of lackluster but I mean that's okay I'm fine saving them up until something good pops out. I picked up primed reach hoping its absurdly far to benefit my loki. I picked up the vertix prism because statistically its the 2nd best item in the game and I hate archwing too much to spend pls or farm resources to get the centaur.

    The changes to lighting are good but need to be adjusted. It runs a little extreme. Too much gamma by default, to in tense a contrast change when the lighting comes on.nice to see DE tinkering with it though.

    The accuracy changes are good. They still need to be adjusted but they are in the right direction. Aside from that the ai reaction time is a bit fast. Feels like snipers aren't taking any time to aim and such. Also id like to see some work done on the spawn placement of different units. Have shotgun guys spawn on the ground for instance and snipers spawn above. Just my thoughts but as ai relates to this patch specifically, good work de.

    That new secondary... Honestly this speaks to a larger problem but as long as we have a limited number of slot spaces stuff like this will always make the game just a little more p2w. Its just so much faster and easier to build with tons of slots. Besides its a slap in the face to everyone who farmed up, leveled and sold the items used to build it. As to its effectiveness's I wont comment because I don't play the rank game which I think is rigged towards those that pay platinum.

    Vay hek being put behind a mastery rank is just awful.imagine the new players coming through an early game planet only to learn that the one unique bit of content on that planet it inaccessible to them. Not only is that annoying its practically a pay to play mechanic since getting the mastery is faster with more slots.i can live with this for now since the rank of so low ban man is it an awful precedent and it suggests a bad direction for the game. What will happen in the future? Will I be barred from content because I refuse to grind weapons I hate? Will getting weapon slots or buying weapons become mandatory for assassination missions? The implications disturb me greatly.

    The idea of cutting the daily syndicate cap is a poor one. As it was syndicate grinding is so time consuming that before I was taking it slow but now even the rare occasion I do play something long like t4 voids or decide to farm becomes less rewarding.that said increasing the medallion yield and mission yield is good. Altogether though I think the syndicates need to be easier. The fact that one syndicate is barred should be enough. Just make each syndicates rewards more unique.

    The worst thing I heard but haven't confirmed for myself was the fusion core nerf. This is awful.the rate at which DE comes out with rank 10 mods is already beyond what I can bear to farm for. Everytime I get a 10 ranked mod I basically content myself with it being martially ranked because my cores are more efficiently used ranking up the next one to come out. And this is with me basically avoiding all of the sentry,archwing and kubro mods. Also with me avoiding the less useful other rank 10 mods. All of this and they make the only viable method of ranking up those damn things even harder? This isn't end game, its infinite grind. Its okay to run out of content sometimes. It happens, the solution isn't to continually make things more grindy.i think ranking up mods should be easier not harder.

  14. Just to add some context I have about 1200+ hours. And I've farmed deep late game t4 voids. Farmed up the boltor prime and loki prime, rhino prime and even the latron prime back when the drop tables were bugged. Those are only a few of the things i have. Thats not even considering forma all of my fav weapons are formaed to death. Shoot my volt is formaed something like 7 times. So I've put in my work. If something meaningful gets locked behind a grind wall past mr 10 I'm just not sure I could bear it.

    Dont get me wrong I understand that it encourages diversity but some people don't want diversity.

    Also think about it, the way they nerf and buff things and make half if the new stuff at least temporarily OP and then come out with a better version later... It all just kind of discourages anything but buying new stuff with plat.

    Sure, ranking game time may not be wise, especially for those who just stay logged in. Couldn't we rank mission time though? Couldn't every mission completed add to mastery rank? Couldn't we rank people for forma work?

  15. Right now I'm mastery rank 9 or 10 so I can basically get all the weapons but I'm worried about what it might do to the game if de realm starts taking it seriously.

    See there are only a limited number of slots and while u can farm mods and trade them for platinum its can be pretty time consuming and nearly impossible for newer players. Furthermore it forces players without tons of platinum to give up weapons. I may be mastery rank 10 but I've as many playtime hours as people with much higher ranks. I just don't enjoy grind leveling new weapons. Shouldn't I be rewarded for my play time rather than my grinding of weapons since that obviously isnt my chosen end game?

    All the mastery rank system does is make the game just a little more p2w and a lot more grindy. It would be okay were mastery rank supposed to be meaningless but they are locking content behind it and constantly talk about adding special benefits.

  16. So much hate! You do know that you're bashing the people who brought you this game in the first place? Sort of like... biting the hand that feeds you? Makes no sense to me. At least you have this awesome game to play. Try and appreciate.

    Dude I love the game but that doesn't put DE beyond criticism. They said in the beginning that primes would be only cosmetic. Well guess what that doesn't make them enough money. Oh well money comes beyond art, it comes beyond enjoyment. I criticize this game because I love it and I'm starting to love it less and less. Say these things in the hope the game can be saved. At this rate it will collapse before it ever gets out of beta.

  17. It fits the lore. It shouldn't exist because DE neglected much older frames for it and because its unbalanced. Nova prime got loki prime's energy buff and a shield buff.

    I'll bet they even plan to nerf it and say this was an accident. Its no accident though, they make the new stuff more powerful so people will spend plat

  18. My main issue is that the decoy is so obviously a decoy. I wish it were something more dynamic.

    Everyone says I'm crazy but I think decoy should summon 4 spectres that last 10 seconds, do no damage and just run around switch teleporting and disarming enemies. And they would take no damage either
