    FTFY.

In my humble opinion, if you think the frame demands mashing more than 1-2 buttons for it to work is not fun for you, then you should stick to your "braindead" frames.

I'm not against more complex warframes. But unlike many people, I do not equate "complex" with "interesting". Octavia's mechanism for example, where you have to sync your actions with your tune, sounds good on paper, is more complex than "Use X to benefit from effect", yet most people just put a braindead song to activate the effects passively without having to think too much about it.

And once again, just because you need to have a PhD in quantum mechanics to understand the 347 interactions between the 4 abitilies of your warframes + its passive doesn't mean it will necessarily be an interesting or challenging-to-play warframe. It can still be braindead, because most likely 345 of these interactions will be overshadowed by the other 2 and you'll stick to them.

least used doesn't mean the Warframe is bad.

how many people really play Zephyr? now How many people really know how strong she is?

It can be godlike all you want, if it's barely used, it means it's not fun and should be reworked. If you need a PhD in quantum mechanics to play a warframe efficiently and yet it's still 0 fun provided, then people will not play it, then DE should make it enjoyable to play.

Some simple warframes are boring and OP, some complex warframes are awesome but underpowered, some complex warframes are awesome and OP, some simple warframes are awesome and OP, and we have Inaros, simple, boring and underpowered

In SP Circuit at certain levels you will not do much, regardless of your amp setup, period.

In fact, the Circuit is the easier place to trigger it. On-shot decrees apply to the Amp, and the presence of low-armor enemies (Corpus mostly) make it extremely easy & quick to self-revive there.

  4. I think it would be a nightmare for archon shards inventory management among different frames.

Does your proposal imply that if you want to socket 5x Amber Shards in all 3 configurations, you need 15x Amber Shards ? Because that's the only way to implement that without being a total pain in the ass on the development side, which is also what made Warframe/Companion shared mods garbage before they reworked that.

And if that's indeed the plan you have, then it would have a big negative impact on 95% of the playerbase, to benefit 5% tops

Those side objectives (also seen as bounties for completion of Duviri Experience) are pretty rare to come across as I've yet to get any of them when I'm farming the missions.  Hell, I get Kaithe race more commonly than those bounties/side objectives for Kullervo's hold.  Even on Steel Path.

The side objective for Kullervo is absolutely the same as the Kullervo's main objective. Just go to the hold and talk to the guy. I don't think we're talking about the same thing there

true, but i mainly ran them for the shards. and also don't understand why people will buy those mods, there actually easy to get, do people really hate running Kahl missions that much, or is it because of progression reasons ? like they haven't unlocked Kahl missions yet ?

I've done Kahl once and I decided to never do that again. I'm not a slave to min-maxing to the point I'll do every content even if they're atrocious.

And to be honest ? You will see how many people are minmaxing slaves when Shards will be removed from Kahl. They will very likely go from "many people are running it weekly" to "10 people are running it weekly"

    revenant....

Is the total restriction of movement and use of weapons not enough?

Apologies, it's true that I only considered Assimilate with the augment, where indeed the only downside is the slow and no weapon restriction.

Revenant is another topic though - just because a garbage warframe with 0 identity has a broken ability doesn't mean it would be good for the game that all warframes have the same thing. Otherwise, just "because Revenant", we could ask all Warframes' damage reduction abilities to be boosted to 100% DR. Would it be good ? Nah

So, accounting for Nyx in her vacuum, the drain makes sense. It could be tweaked in values, cap, internal cooldown, anything okay, but I think it's good for the game to not have a toggleable full invulnerability with negligible downsides. And yes that means Revenant should be changed but that's another story (it's only played for his 3, so the nerf will need to come with a rework).

Unless what you're asking is for Nyx to become Female Revenant ? 3 useless abilities and 1 broken one ? Would that make her "good" (in terms of entertainment) or just "meta"

The fact that she doesn’t need the extra energy drain on an already limiting ability. Energy drain is fine, but the bonus per 1k damage sucks when enemies are able to easily do over 1k.
This post highlights how unnecessary the extra drain is.

Yup on the principle I understand, and I would support, but I think it's a necessary "evil". Otherwise that's straight up complete invulnerability with no downside other than slow moving (which is barely a downside really) that would be extremely easy to maintain forever, trivializing most high-end content.

But even with that "limitation", I feel like you barely feel it. If you build your Nyx around Assimilate, you'll have enough duration (and/or efficiency) to not have any problem ever. Maybe against levels 6k+ ? Don't know, didn't try, but doesn't it make sense that it's not complete immunity to everything with literally no downside ?

  9. I'm not sure I'm in favor of that tbh. Maybe adding it to the chat window (next to the typing field) so you can know very quickly without having to rely on someone spamming the chat.

But a full blown clock somewhere on the UI would be unnecessary. Usually, the games which have these additional elements (clock, calendar) are the games with timed events that you don't want to miss out. We could argue that open-world cycles, sorties and everything else that's on a timer rely on that but I don't feel like it would improve anything tbh.

The reason given is not valid (missing appointments), I mean, the next step is to have post-its integrated into Warframe and a diary with the details of your bank or local shop ?

  10. Well that's definitely far from silly, considering DE has already done that themselves with Mirage's clones (that "vanish" when they're in your direct field of view). And yes, some shoulder attachments are really big and start obstructing too much the view so that would be a great change.

Why? You sleep or take break only less than 6 hours?

... because you very rarely connect just 1 millisecond before going to sleep ?

Most of the time you just... connect at the very beginning of your gaming session (weird idea I know)

It's like saying "play for another thousand days so your booster lasts long enough".

6 hours is already very rarely wasted tbh. It can happen from time to time, but most of the time you'll benefit fully from it.

  13. That's unlikely to ever happen - and if it does, the boosters' duration would be reduced dramatically, which wouldn't help.

Sometimes the boosters are wasted, it happens but it's nothing critical. The more you connect, the longer the boosters, so in the end it won't even matter anymore.

  14. That'll always be a tough subject. Servers have advantages (mostly stability, solving instantaneously 80% of Warframe's bugs) and disadvantages (maintenance, cost, downtime, set locations so you may have poor ping forever).

But that's a moot point to discuss - they'll never have mission servers. We should be grateful they bought a few for Dojos (+ relays/orbiters obviously), but that won't go further - mostly because the cost would need to be compensated by a fee paid by players, which would drive the game directly into the ground.

Warframe.party to pair with warframe.market would be a pretty effective I think.

Can't expect the players to do all the job though

I'm mostly avoiding trading and grouping in Warframe because how terrible that experience is. Just throwing all my rads in matchmaking and hope for the best

At this point, those basic systems are long overdue.

For example, I have auto-melee configured for years now on my Steam Controller. It does make the game more enjoyable for me, and I can stay in Survival for a good couple hours instead of feeling like my thumb is going to fall off after 10 minutes. Would I get banned for it? Can I be confident that I wouldn't?

Considering auto-melee is a standard function nowadays...

Most rules in games are obvious, and most of the banned people know very well why they were banned for - despite them telling you otherwise and conveniently not mentioning the bots/hacks they were running in the background (even if they were for other games, they can be detected).

  17. The Lua's womb, always a bliss to stumble on it. I love its destroyed counterpart as well, gives a totally different point of view on what your character could have become. The new circulus tile is pretty neat as well !

On a more general note, Deimos' open world. As much as the content there is meh, Vome and Fass in the background<3
