  1. This is just insane. Where are they pulling their numbers from? I played this game for months and still do not have more than a few hundred mutagen samples. How are you supposed to get everyone in your clan to mindlessly grind out those numbers? That's just stupid.

Just admit that you have miscalculated this and stop being so greedy. There is no need to have it like this. Actually LISTEN to your customers,  for god's sake!

  2. Yeah but how did you come up with that suggestion to begin with? Something you don't like about the game makes you play in a way that puts you at a potential disadvantage so the logical step for you is to demand everyone else have said disadvantage placed upon them as well?

If anything the "need" for farming overall should be reduced for everyone and rewards should not depend on using meta builds to reduce the grind.

Issues such as mirage+simulor spam or ember's WoF have dogged Warframe consistently over the past 2 years. The argument for nerfing these weapons, warframes and builds have bounced back and forth between different factions of warframe's player base with no resolution in sight. And any previous alterations to certain meta frames have lead to unhappiness the players who would rather not see their power fantasies come to and end.

Nerfing however is something of a stop-gap solution, players would simply move on to another meta-build that allows them to do the same thing with the same degree of approximate ease. While at the same time requiring DE to review and rebalance each individual frame and weapon, a highly involved process that DE arguably already has a backlog of. Nerfing more-over is not a solution that can be implemented quickly and will always be one step behind the player base.

Rather then a nerf, I would like to suggest an alternative solution to the problem. Allowing the matchmaker to automatically segregate players who want to use certain builds like the mirage+simulor, ember's wof and etc, and place them into uniquely flagged games where they can may be allowed to play in the company of those who enjoy such things. While at the same time, allowing members of the player base to enjoy the game without the problems that having such individuals in their sessions might create.

This solution is not perfect however, there are shortfalls that need to be addressed. The first question is responding to any shifts in player behavior with regard to meta builds, this would require continual updating on DE's part, on what does and does not constitute a meta-build. This will need ready access to information to effectively implement, but given their access to information, I do not think this to be an insurmountable hurdle. Also, some of these meta builds allow players to very quickly kill enemies and harvest their drops, far more quickly then players who would not be employing such tactics, thus it is necessary to implement a reduction of rewards/payouts to these "meta-games" in order to prevent any unequal generation of resources and currency between the 2 game types.

Edit1: Borg1611 raised a good point about the majority of nodes being scarce of players, the exceptions being certain farming nodes like akkad and hieracon. The most likely times players would run into each other are in kuva runs, alerts and some fissures. Most of which wouldn't see people farming, this makes a resource/credit modification redundant, since these missions make farming difficult to begin with. We can do away with the notion of applying resource/credit modifications to these segregated groups.

A reduction of rewards? Are you crazy? Do you know how long it takes to gather the millions of credits necessary for baro, mod upgrades and trades, especially with primed mods, already using a credit booster and going to Akkad or Hieracon? It takes for-freaking-ever. You want to make this game more fun by increasing the grind?

thx for your unnecessary contributing, read the damn topic and present the reason next time

The reason is: don't ruin one of the best aspects about the movement mechanics. Also the "NO" was my feedback to the topic in question. If my opinion is "unnecessary" then so is yours.

The index was was an Arena match PvE not PvP. Which was significantly better than putting up with the excruciatingly awful netcode for PvP. Worse is that this event took an hour and a half to complete for both sigils and a catalyst. Next time they force this crap I'm just gonna AFK and watch some TV for the duration. If they want me to play PvP they need to decrease the grind I already have to put in on PvE and they to get it to an actual playable state. Neither things they care to do.

With how greedy everyone was trying to snatch points away from under each others' noses you can't tell me that wasn't PvP.

  6. AND WOULD YOU PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT BUGGY DOORS ALREADY?

We redid this mission and managed not to get locked in right at the beginning. However after the siphon was destroyed apparently our host lost connection, so we went through one of those lovely host migrations that NEVER screw anything up (thanks for making those so stable by the way) and now I was on one side of a green door and the other two remaining people were on the other side. The door did not open whatever we tried. The other two could get to the hostage but they could not get to the extraction point. One of the other two left so now the remaining other guy could protect the hostage while I went to the extraction and we extracted via the extraction time out mechanic AND DID NOT RECEIVE ANY KUVA.

This is such a bugged mess, holy cow. Please just refrain from doing any further content updates and fix your stuff first.

There's always a panel to hack. You're not the first person to report this, and you're certainly not the first person to be wrong. Every place you can get locked into has a glowing green panel you can use to rescind the lockdown.

We were FOUR people looking ALL over the small area we were in MULTIPLE TIMES. THERE WAS NO PANEL.

  8. So I just did a Kuva Siphon run in Brugia on Eris and the Siphon spawned right in the first room of the map. We managed to destroy it and wanted to proceed but all doors that led further into the map were on lockdown and there was no panel to hack.

GG DE, just GG, thank you for the awesome experiences

  9. First we get the index, now we get this. DE are pushing PvP so hard it hurts. Please concentrate more on the modes the majority of people actually enjoy. As OP said, I am pretty sure they released a diagram some while ago that showed that only a fraction of players actually actively played PvP. Why do you keep making events around those now?

It's a free game. Get over it.

And yes lack of content is an issue but it's also the biggest issue with playing any MMO long term.

    Free to play =/= free

Also even if it was completely free, constructive criticism should always be allowed. This here is the feedback subforum after all...

Because it takes next to no resources at all to move it from on top of the roof where it is, to a place where people can see it. It literally takes one person to pick it up in their editor and move it to another place.

Fair enough. My earlier post was more directed towards demands for an extra new location or new display mechanisms and such.

  12. With all due respect and thanks to the founders who made it possible for Warframe to even exist in this form, why use up the already scarce resources DE have to cater to them more than already has been done? They have their special treatment and exclusive stuff already. What about the people that keep the game running now? The people putting in hundreds of dollars into this game? Why should they not get a monument? Or how about just let DE use their resources to take care of stuff that doesn't just concern a small elite circle of people?

  13. I usually check invasions multiple times a day and I haven't seen any weapon part rewards from invasions for at least a week now.

I know the chance of a weapon part appearing is 25% but even at a 75% chance of an invasion not having a weapon part, the overall chance for that happening so many days in a row is so small, this shouldn't even be a thing. Your love for senseless reliance on RNG rears its head in all of its ugly glory here. Now not just single players get screwed by it but all of us collectively.

You added the weapon parts to invasions to make them more appealing, well for that to work they actually have to appear which currently they do not. At least give us one guaranteed weapon part invasion per week please.

  14. The higher maximum riven capacity is definitely welcome. Now you just need to add more sources for riven mods because 1 chance a day is still pretty pathetic. It will be even worse when there are riven mods for all the kinds of equipment. And phasing them in and out of the sortie reward tables will not solve the issue.

  15. Or at least give us the option to define additional builds. Like polarity setup A, B, C. For frames too. So you can have multiple polarity configurations on one weapon/frame to allow for different builds and optimizations between which you can then switch like you would between different loadouts. Currently you have to have multiple copies of a weapon or a frame you want to do contradicting builds with and there is really no good reason for having it like that.

Ah, no mate. Turns out that my most dire prediction was right after all. DE's latest plan is to phase out Rifle Rivens in favour of Pistol Rivens for the next Sortie rotation.

    So. Balls.

I was genuinely relieved when you pulled me up on this and pointed out that I had it wrong, I really was.

Is that true? That is absolutely stupid. At least with the past rotation rewards when you had them, you had them in their definitive state. Riven mods however could always be different, worse or better, depending on the RNG you get. It's not a system that lends itself to that rotational model. What the hell are they thinking???
