I reckon they will probably introduce a new planet or something to that effect similar to like how they introduced the Kuva Fortress in TWW. We will probably start of the quest on Lua and then get transported to the new planet which is why Lua is always in the background of the site of action which would indicate that we aren't exactly on Lua for the entire quest timeline. What do y'all think?

Yep, I think so too. Just hope it isn't like that coz DE isn't ready to add more stuff which wld mean its gonna be delayed to the end of the month

So, anyone know what's gonna happen with the hype site? It hasn't had anything new added to it since it was first made and if I'm not mistaken, isn't supposed to have new stuff that gets revealed as time progresses towards the release of the quest?

Just for clarification, does The Sacrifice come under "Mainline" or doe sit just involve the particles etc.?

Honestly, I'm starting to feel like these so called 'founders' are actually a bunch of arrogant and childish homo sapiens not to mention they probably have a difficulty in understanding simple English, or maybe they are just petty humans who take pride in trying to be the whinny little creatures they are over an issue that has no basis for a counter argument. It's already long been established that Umbra is gonna be a new line warframes so why even compare it to a prime warframe ie Excalibur Prime? Also since Excalibur has basically been the mascot of the game since the beginning it's perfectly logical for DE to make Excalibur the first warframe to get an Umbra variant. What this has to do and how it contradicts with Excalibur Prime (which isn't even that great imo) doesn't seem remotely logical. The only people who possibly could have an issue with it are the Chinese and that being said, their entire game is somewhat on a different platform compared to our global build. So in conclusion, founders should really get their s**t together and stop being petty little humans fighting a baseless argument just because they want to feel like they have something to say. Also I would like to say that this comment is directed to the specific founders who are still salty about the whole Umbra issue after 3 years and not at all founders as a whole because I'm sure not everyone shares their misguided opinion.

Somehow I feel that its likely that no matter what DE brings with Umbra it is not gonna justify (from an intriguing stand point) an almost 3 year wait with almost 0 information not to mention that it has been delayed yet again. Just my opinion so don't hate :). Also I'm saying this from an Umbra point of view and not about the lore of Warframe

Or complete Dark Sector missions which each level having a chance (almighty RNGesus) to drop an Excalibur Umbra part and Ballas' huge ass nikana

Ah, I see, cheers bruv. But the glyph has been the same glyph I used over a year ago. Does it take that long to sync?

Quick question guys. My warframe profile on the warframe website displays a pic/glyph that I used to use a long time ago in game. Any ideas how to get it to sync with the current one im using in game? Also, our profiles on the warframe website (not the in game profile) have ranks associated with it. I am not too sure what exactly the rank refers to or if its meant to be the same as your MR in game but it says for me that I'm a silver initiate on the warframe website but I am MR 20 in game. Ofc there may not be any correlation between the 2 ranks but assuming there are, I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out on how to get the 2 to be synced. Also I have tried reloging and that didn't solve the issue

Yeah, but they have used the coming soon tag for Umbra for the last 3 years and at the last minute they always say its gotta be delayed because they want to make it better so it really wouldn't be a surprise at this point is all I'm saying considering how they seem to be giving basically 0 information regarding any development of the quest since its teaser at tennocon.

They initially said Umbra was meant to be part of The War Within quest but they then proceeded to remove its from the quest due to a certain issue. So they have said about putting him in a quest before but hopefully this time it does happen

Yeah, a warframe partner did mention that Umbra will prolly be at the end of the year if this year at all. Kindda bored with the game at this point tbh from a lore perspective because the War Within cinematic was like ages ago and no new development to the storyline has really been made other than the Lotus just taking off for 3 months at least.

Heya peeps, so today my operator popped up again on my market table shaking his legs and weirdly laughing while saying 'Hey Kiddo'. Quite a number of my clan mates also experienced the same thing today which makes me wonder if this has any potential significance. Like is it an indication of the next cinematic? Is it a bug? or is it a thing that commonly happens from time to time after one has completed the chains of Harrow Quest?

So The Sacrifice is supposed to be live before spring and the next Open World aye? Which would mean that it will be released sometime between Feb and mid March aye?

So sorry if this question has already been asked but I may have missed it coz this thread it quite long. So with the Apostasy thing and all wet do you guys think The Sacrifice will be live? Some time in Jan or Feb ish or later in the year?

Game can't be updated anymore unfortunately. The 'Some content updates could not be downloaded from our servers' error keeps appearing for the last 8 hours.

Glad to see the team is back! Just a few questions from me.
1) As Umbra is finally official, we would like to know to some extent what we can expect from Umbra frames. For instance, are they gonna have completely different abilities to the prime and regular counterparts.
2) Will all umbra frames be obtainable though quests or is the quest just for Excalibur Umbra being as that he is the first frame to have an Umbra variant in the global build?
3) How often will umbra variants of frames be released since not all frames will have an Umbra variant?
4) As PoE is set to be live sometime near the end of summer, how far away would the next cinematic quest be along the timeline?
4) Since there will be a feature to build Operator gear along with the PoE update, would those crafted Operator gear influence how our Operator behaves as in have an impact on their focus abilities or regular abilities or as they surely cosmetic?
5) On a side note, seeing as that PoE is set to be live at the end of summer, will there be any new content or events coming sometime between now and the PoE update? (just for curiosities sake 😜)
Finally, thanks for all the interesting stuff and new content introduced into the game. Tennocon 2017 was quite amazing and looking forward to next year's convention. Really appreciate the effort and keep making Warframe awesome!

That's not hot probability works. 10% means that when you open 1 Axi A2 relic the chance of getting an Alex Prime Link is 10%. The next Axi A2 relic you open will still have the same 10% chance of dropping an Aklex Prime Link because your sample space (the collection of items from which you intend to get a specific item from) remains unchanged for every subsequent relic you open. For example :
A bag has 5 balls labelled A, B, C, D and E respectively and to make it simpler lets say they each have an equal drop chance i.e.. 20%. The ball you want to get is the ball labelled A (aklex prime link)
This would mean when you choose a random ball from the bag, the chance of getting the balled labelled A (aklex prime link) is 20% and this value will always remain the same for every bag you pick a ball from.
The only way the chance of getting the A ball will increase is if firstly, the number of balls in the bag gets reduced (the number of items in the relic gets reduced for every subsequent opening), or secondly DE changes the drop system entirely and utilises a system where each subsequent relic opened provides increasing odds to obtain a rare part which also is not the case.
So it is entirely possible to get the same item from the relic even if you were to open 100 relics because the drop chances remain constant for relic opened and this is more commonly known as RNG absolutely and utterly hating you.

Found something unusual from the room where Umbra teaser was filmed. (you have to climb wall quite a while to reach this spot; pay attention to minimap)
On the left from entering there is cluster of rocks that can be destroyed.
Partially destroyed already. Note that anything can destroy the rocks, I just decided to do it with Azima/Operator's voidbeam. (there were 2 of the same room in one run)
Completely destroyed and exposed.
Dont know what kind of purpose this cluster will serve, because in this room were only 1-2 normal containers.

I also tested around if other rocks/objects could be destroyed with abilities or weapons; nothing else discovered so far.
A clan mate of mine said that he found the room too and he saw the pod. Not sure how accurate the pod part is though

So in the last few days I have been taking my Smeeta kavat into Kuva siphon and Kuva flood missions. However I noticed on more than one occasion that the amount of Kuva i received is not doubled despite the fact that the Smeeta Kavat's 120s double resource buff is active when the last Kuva cloud is destroyed. To my knowledge the buff has to be active when the last kuva cloud is destroyed for the amount of kuva received to be doubled and that is what I tried. Im not sure if its just me having this issue atm but any help would be appreciated. Cheers

DE already stated early on during the development of the Umbra concept that all frame will get a Prime but not all frames will get Umbra which means that a few (more than just Excalibur) frames will have an Umbra variant.
