I believe i do meet the requirements, have logged in everyday for the past 2 weeks, have twitch acc (prime as well) linked, even linked and unlinked countless times.. I'm just annoyed because i have such bad luck with these things, it looks like specifically it won't work out for me 😛
Yeah, I understand. It's just that psychologically speaking that's a cognitive bias that most people have. We all worry that of course we're going to be the one person who manages to be the one in a million that it screws up on. It's just that it rarely actually happens and it's usually fine, so best to not put yourself through the stress and just trust it. 😎

Is everyone supposed to be getting ashp at once or does it gradually distribute it to every player who matches the ''requirements'' slowly?
It's going one at a time as it iterates through the database. Each account is a record on a table, and it goes to the next one, checks to see if it has already received the reward from the stream, if not, it checks to see when you last logged in, and if you have logged in during the last week, it checks to see if your account has a twitch account connected. If it does, it adds an ash prime to your inventory. Then it moves on to the next person. It's having to do this process for every account in the database, which is why it's taking hours.
If you meet the requirements you'll get your frame. It's best to try not to stress about it.

Oh, that sucks. Hope you get one as they told later.
...I forgot that I'm $&*&*#(%&ed enough that even when I go on vacation I take my laptop with me. -_-
The ash primes being given out later were specifically for people who attended TennoCon, because as they were at the event they obviously couldn't view the stream. It's part of the ticket price. They weren't going to do a limited giveaway for Ash Prime and then give another one out to everyone.

If you know you have attached your twitch account to your warframe account, and you know you have logged into the game recently, please be patient. It has only been two hours of the possible six hours Rebecca gave us. Not everyone is getting them at the same time. It is going through people one at a time and it will take time. Not having it yet is perfectly normal.

So someone on one my discord servers recently got the drop so I went to check mine, but no luck. I know my accounts are linked and I was logged into Warframe shortly before and during Tennolive sooo.....
It's being done one account at a time. It isn't done yet. If you don't have it in 8 hours, then something might have gone wrong, but the vast majority of people don't have them yet.

Many thanks. One last question, is it still possible for someone who hasn't logged in for the last 7 days before TennoCon but has logged in before this thread was made to get the drop? Asking for a friend.
Based on what experience I have managing databases for games, which isn't a lot, you could probably log in now and still be fine. The problem is that I'm basing that on how ours were set up and the choices we made with their structure. It's entirely possible (even if I find it unlikely) that DE's done it differently.
If your friend can log in now, I would suggest he, and anybody else who wants to be safe, do so.

Considering her tweet says "(plan)", to me it reads more like they haven't written the script yet, so there's still time to change the plan.
Wonder if it can be done through a promo code.
Oh, I think you're right actually. I read the line at the end about letting us know "when the script is finished" as meaning "finished running" rather than "finished being written".

Question, does the linked Twitch account have to be older than 7 days or something? Or is it fine that I linked my Warframe and Twitch account a day before TennoCon?
No, the only reason for the time limit is to make it faster and more efficient. Without it they would spend time distributing free stuff to millions of abandoned accounts, or accounts which haven't ever played, etc. They want to limit it to active players who likely would have watched the stream, since they can no longer verify who did. If your accounts are linked and you've logged in during the past week, it doesn't matter how old the accounts are. You probably could have made and linked both yesterday after the stream and still get the rewards.

anyone know is it count if i start playing warframe 1 weak ago and i link same daytwitch whan i start playing 1 weak ago
Yes, it counts. It doesn't matter how long you've played so long as you have played within the last seven days and have your warframe and twitch accounts linked.
11 minutes ago, (PS4)Ovan_The_Great said:Uhm.. Did they already get sent out? My account was linked to my Twitch and I watched 30 minutes.. I also have been playing Warframe just about non-stop for this whole week. When I logged in, I still didn't get Ash Prime.
It's an ongoing, slow process being done one account at a time. Some people will have already received them assuming the script has been started like Rebecca's post suggests, but very few. Just keep an eye out over the next while. This is slow and methodical and being done directly on DE's database, so there is very, very little chance you get passed over if you meet the above criteria.

So... does it means that I'll get ash prime? Because I linked my account on sartuday, watched it live all live and I'm logging all days after the live
Yes. It is as simple as it sounds. If your account is linked to twitch, no matter when you linked it, and you have played within the last week, then you should get it when the script gets to you.

Yeah, that's what I assumed they were going to do in the first place, honestly. Not that hard to sweep the backlash under a rug.
Honestly, they shouldn't even need to comb through the database. Throw a script to run when somebody logs in, check to make sure it isn't one of the accounts that already received it, check to make sure it isn't a new account to prevent people abusing it, call the inbox event.
Remove the script a month later, and it gives people plenty of time. Still might not solve it for everybody, though.
The problem is that the database can't push the client to do things, so a script on the database side can't do that, or at least it couldn't the last time I worked with these sort of databases. Which means to do that they'd need to push a client patch to add a call to a script to happen at login. That's fine for PC, but means delays for console players who would likely have to wait for Sony/Microsoft's teams, and possibly a patch fee, assuming they still do those.

but their solution is stupid because they now reward everyone and there are certainly people who get him then 2 times
It's unlikely that anyone will get him twice. These sorts of events are going to have flag values that let them know someone already got a distribution, both to keep people from getting extra and also to make the script more efficient since it isn't having to do comparisons for values on an ineligible account. I would be very surprised if the first step of the script isn't to check the account for a flag that they already got their twitch drop.
It's also fairly irrelevant, because you can't use a second one, and you can't trade it or do anything else useful with it. If somehow they do get it twice, then the only benefit is a free warframe slot that's only worth 20p.

i still dont get if it can expire or not. any answers to give?
There is no expiration. It's a script. It's going to go through the database, one account at a time, check to see if the account is eligible and, if it is, distribute an item. Whenever it gets to your account, if you're eligible, you'll get Ash Prime. If, at that point you are not eligible, you will not get Ash Prime and it will continue on to the next person.
I don't know if the order is based on some account number key value, on alphabetical account names, alphabetical e-mails, account creation date, etc, so I can't say how long you have until your account is checked, but you only have the one opportunity.

Except that once again they've shown their lack of foresight. What happens to people who haven't been able to log in for reasons, but still watched the stream?
The perfect solution is just to give it to everybody.
While I agree that it's not perfect, there's a very high cost to distributing to every account, given that they probably have ten abandoned accounts for every one that is actively played. If they set an arbitrary, longer cutoff like a month or six months instead, they'll get people who haven't played since last year but watched the stream and were inspired to come back who are upset that they couldn't login in the past <insert arbitrary date here>. I know because I'm in a discord server with multiple such people.
Unfortunately, unless they want to end up having this script run for two straight months to cover everyone they're going to have to pick some cutoff that excludes some people.

And I do not care what I can and the others for their mistakes
his Promise was this
" Watch the stream for 30 consecutive minutes with your Twitch and Warframe accounts linked and you’ll get a free Ash Prime! "
and this was now a lie!
You were being offered a gift for very little effort. The technology broke trying to distribute hundreds of thousands of gifts. Now you're being given the gift even if you hadn't done that thing. All you have to do is sit down and be patient. There's no reason to be rude or angry over free stuff they're going to extra effort to give you.

If it is linked it will count. It doesn't matter when.

Well, I still didn't get my Ash Prime. so will I get mine soon by any chance? (In game name - Tahmvapes)
Just now, Dinomina said:i still dident get ash so i only hope that i wiil get him
It's a script. It has to slowly iterate through the entire database, checking each row one at a time to see if the data is correct, then add the frame into the inventory. It's going to take a long time to run as it has millions of entries to go through and is likely being run on a low priority to keep from slowing the game servers down. If you're eligible, you should get it via this method. It'll just take some time.

I actually wonder if that'll count towards "signing in" but I don't think you can't accept inbox messages to receive the warframe on the mobile app.
If you signed into your account to check then I think you're safe and you should receive it when they send it out.
Unfortunately I wouldn't expect it to unless they've got some weird reason for it to. Your last login date is going to be what it's based on, and having that tell them when the user last logged into the actual game is valuable for things like metrics and active player numbers, or situations like this with rewards. Knowing when people logged into the mobile app (or having those logins overwrite the data about the game) isn't going to be as valuable, so it's likely either untracked or tracked separately. If there are two different values and the script is looking at the game one, the mobile app one won't help, and if mobile app isn't tracked at all then similarly the script isn't going to see it as a login within the last seven days.
I could be wrong, and hopefully for those people I am, but it'd be in everyone's best interest to go log into the game if at all possible.

But what if I just linked my twitch account 2 days before the stream? Does that still count?
According to Rebecca's post, if the script reaches your account and you've logged in during the last seven days and have a linked twitch account, regardless of when, you'll be given the frame. You should be fine.
-
For those who haven't logged in but watched the stream: It may be worth logging in as soon as possible. They could design the script in such a way that it's checking for specific logins during a seven day period ending before this post, but it's much more likely that it will simply look for a login time within the last seven days, from whenever the script is run, meaning that if you log in before then you could receive it.
Obviously I don't work for DE and I didn't write the script, so it's no guarantee, but it's worth a shot if you can do it so you don't miss out on your reward.

Truely a loss for our community as Tenno and as gamers in general.
I got into warframe because of his review it and have been watching his content since 2011 or so.
Does anyone know if DE will be holding an in game moment of silence or releasing a black arm band cosmetic? Though given the impact that TB had on warframe perhaps a specialty shrine decoration might be more appropriate.
It is a strange thing to consider that video gaming is still such a young form of media that as a group gamers aren't used to IRL death being a part of our community and how it affects the video game social landscape. On the other hand TB was five years younger than I am so perhaps my perspective on all this is a bit off.
May we all heal in time and never forget.
I imagine they'll do something once they've had some time. Given that the game might not exist without him, and how hard the news seemed to hit DE based on the Prime Time, I can only imagine he was really important to them too.
He brought so many people to this game, at a time DE had put all their chips in on the table and was hoping and praying for success. They haven't forgotten his contribution.

Same issue for me. Relogged a few times, even went to fight Tyl Regor to get another nav segment so I could trigger it "the intended way". Now I have two different mails from Jordas, and still either don't have or cannot see a potent pod blueprint. It's not in the foundry nor in my inventory view.
Edit: So apparently because I didn't have normal pods built already I didn't get the recipe. I assume I will once I finish building these. The quest isn't super clear that you are meant to be building the normal pods. It tells you to kill juggernauts for parts and as I had heard mention of a special type I was under the impression that I needed a second recipe which used the parts which was unique to the quest.
Might be better to give the potent recipe at the start of the quest, as the requirement of the normal pod would make it more clear that you needed to do both.

Nope. It's not even half done. Just give it time. This method is very unlikely to have issues. If you've been playing recently and your accounts are connected, you'll get it, eventually.
