  1. They don't need a buff because game balance. Well modded bows can 1 shot enemies whereas most primaries and secondaries require more than 1 shot. Asking for bows to be faster is like asking for snipers to shoot faster and reload faster because their DPS doesn't match up with other guns.

    Exactly.

There are DPS guns and Burst-damage guns.

DPS guns usually have some downside like limited range (for shotguns), high ammo consumption and/or constant aim required.

Burst guns will deal MASSIVE damage in an instant, however their overall DPS will prove to be far lower than the other weapons.

A problem - that does NOT happen in this game - is when your Burst guns do not deal enough damage to reliably dispatch of even the cannon fodder enemies, and as such DPS guns become obnoxiously superior.

  2. Agreed.  I would love to see this "bug?" fixed.

Having said that, as I noted above, I feel too many people mindlessly throw these mods in their bows because, hey, it's damage, right?  Foregoing the likes of Speed Trigger and Fast Hands to pick up mods that literally give you no meaningful benefit for 98% of the mobs you will encounter is the exact reason that some people see need to complain about the bows.

I have little to no option, to be fair. My bow currently has 12 empty mod slots that I literally cannot fill because I haven't found the "ideal" mods such as multishot or cryo rounds, and I'm still upgrading my other mods (serration, vital senses and etc - just finished maxing point strike). Sometimes, players just can't help doing that. :/

  3. I don't think the bows need a buff.

The ONLY thing I'd ask for is that enemies do not "flich" when they suffer elemental damage (such as electrical, mainly), as their corpses:

    1) do not fly violently, which kills enemies, and;

    2) BLOCK new arrows with their bodies.

Just because an enemy was electrocuted, does not remove the momentum arrows normally give when without elements.

  4. - Defense mission reward tables have been reviewed and changed. Reward tables are now split between factions. Fusion cores have now been added to the drop tables.

How will rewards be divided? Would this mean you could theoretically farm more easily for specific mods (such as multishot mods from grineer)?

More specifically, do they follow these rules here (source: wiki)

    http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Mods#Obtaining_mods
    • Each faction has a higher chance to drop certain mods, while having a small chance to drop other mods as well. The following is what each faction drops most often.
      • Infested: Power Abilities, All types of Freeze damage.
      • Corpus: Fire/Electricity/Armor Pen. Mods, Power Max, Power Efficiency, Power Range, Melee Charge Speed, Loot Radar and Enemy Radar, Puncture Mods. (Tactic Polarity: 19px-Bar.png)
      • Grineer: Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage, Multishot, Basic Damage Mods, Power Duration, Power Strength. (Attack Polarity: 18px-V.png)
      • Universal: Fusion Cores, Sentinel Mods, and Stun. However, you are more likely to gain Fusion Cores on lower level worlds such as Mercury, Saturn, and Venus.

  5. I don't get why people are constantly trying to turn Warframe into LoL, Dota, or Diablo. Seriously, those are all very different types of games from Warframe, and a lot of the stuff that worked in them simply won't work in this game.

That being said, a spear weapon could be interesting, if done right. :D

Nowhere did I mention I'd like to turn the game into Dota... :/

I only used it as a reference, to exemplify the "shockwave" from a jump attack. English isn't my main language, so I have to resort to that sort of stuff :)

  6. Ok, so this would need a slight rework to how powers on warframes work.

FIrst of all, skills wouldn't have fixed shortcuts. Much like you can reorder a sentinels' "program" and have it behave differently according to the order where you place mods, you'd be able to switch around your skill shortcuts, allowing for greater and easier customization, as not everyone uses every warframe skill, for example.

This opens up the path for the two suggestions I have here: More powers for specific warframes, and warframe-independent powers.

Adding and additional one or two powers for warframes would increase their customizability. For example, a pillar of flame for Ember. New skills that you could equip and switch your game a little.

Warframe-independent powers would be simple stuff, like for example a forward, non-damaging dash, that you could add to warframes. Those powers would be based on warframe stats (on the dash example, the base range would be x meters times your movement speed - so light warframes such as loki would gain massive dashing distance versus heavier ones like rhino).

Such skills could add more versatility to warframes, and more room for customization. :)

  7. Melee weapons that have great range, but do not attack in an arc. Can be aimed (thrust where you point your mouse).

Charge attack would pierce through multiple enemies in its range, damaging them, and have an even greater range. Also, Armor Pierce.

Jump strike would also add a new movement. Instead of a AoE shockwave, a directed shockwave that travels the ground with greatly extended range. Think Magnus from Dota (http://youtu.be/VFCLmTcr1p8?t=22s)

Said attack could knock down enemies when hit.

Melee mods would apply normally, as they do for heavy weapons.

  8. Uh... okay, accidentally pressed "enter" on title bar and it posted.

Hang on while I edit it. lol

Upon finishing a mars mission (Tharsis), after evacuating normally and clicking the "return" button, my screen when black, followed by a red light shining in the middle. A heartbeat noise started, and remained for a couple seconds. The red light stopped shining after a couple seconds, and the heartbeat stopped, too. And I was left with a black screen with ambient noise. The game didn't respond, forcing me to alt-f4 out of it.

I gained progress normally; kept mods, credits and mats found on that mission.

Upon completion of the following mission (Deimos), I faced the same issue. However, this time I did not gain progression.

And after writing this, it sounds kinda like a creepypasta. A really bad one. Haha

    About me:

Recently started playing Warframe (less than a week ago)

I'm using mostly my ember warframe (was HUGELY disappointed with Loki. Want to get rid of it and build myself a banshee and ash ASAP)

I enjoy playing in a creative manner. I often read wikis and try my best to follow "thematic" builds - but I will specialize if need be.

    I'm a cool guy, too. :)
