Are toxins not consumables? I don't see my rifle ammo packs refilling every time I fail a mission, either. It sucks &#!. Nothing should get used if you fail the mission, it's like it never happened. While we're at it let's make it so if we do complete the mission we get twice the consumables back!

iirc Oberon only does Health orbs, Desecrate completely re-pilfers the loot tables for scraps.

The amount of materials required to make derelict keys are moderate in numbers. Speaking of numbers: plenty people, just like yourself, have this quarrel with infested farming--and I am unable to perceive why, with the abundant number of people in this dilemma, this obstacle remains.
Could all of the people looking for infested farms not pair up? What good is it doing, by doing nothing at all?

His "analogy of a dish" wasn't meant to represent Warframe, it was meant to demonstrate the flaws in your "give everything a try" ideology.
Nobody here is saying that Warframe is a S#&$ty dish.
But its screenshots fail to convey its gameplay and design.

No, from my perspective, you recognize that you made a mistake in your earlier posts.
Instead of admitting it, though, you're apparently attempting to conceal it by convoluting the discussion.
Ask yourself, who's the one who really needs to accept things?
Because unlike yourselves, others do not need to--nor were they raised--to judge books by their covers, to be courted by movies with perspective art. No, some of us were raised not to be natural critics. I'm sorry you have been misled into thinking my outward approach at your skepticism in art placement is some sort of 'accident,' but I have made no accidents here. Different people, different tastes.
Not everyone who plays this game is drawn in by artwork alone, and for that I am deeply sorry you feel that it implies some great deal of affection to newer players who look at them--no, some people are playing because they may have found this through another gaming portal; some have likely watched teaser videos on youtube from adverts, others have heard word of mouth (like you two here who are questioning my very existence right now). So, the need for a couple of placeholder artwork to be changed is not exactly high on the priority list.
If, perhaps, Digital Extremes exhausted all forms of reproach they might begin to look at the artwork being a serious problem in bringing new players to the table. Until such a time should come, I suggest you enjoy the game and stop meddling around in trivial matters.

B%$^* please, you sounded nothing like an adult, can't even accept the fact that the OP here is trying to get the majority of people interested in Warframe. Without attractive and appealing advertisement, no one would care to even try, since there are so many other games that people could play. Please ACCEPT that people like shiny things, and get on with it.
Using your analogy of a dish that doesn't look appetizing: if you add more flashy things to the dish it won't hide or make the consumer ignore the fact that the dish itself is pretty 'S#&$ty' as you say it is. Maybe you need to accept this.

Screenshots are the first thing people see, and if the screenshots are bad, people will think this was some game made in unity in about 3 days.
What happens when the very juicy, delectable food you scarf down makes you want to regurgitate every bit of it? All of it comes from personal experience. No amount of hearsay will give you the hands-on experience you will need to truly know if you like something or not. Plenty of people I know think I'm crazy for my distaste in certain foods, but I have tried them myself. If I asked anyone at all if they liked them, majority of people might tell me they do. That's not to say when I turn around and try the disgusting filth of a plate myself, that I will or will not like it.

I don't personally need Warframe's Steam screenshots to be better.
If I'm the only one seeing them, then they could be pictures of burning pubes, for all I care.
But, for potential new players, pictures of burning pubes aren't going to cut it.
If DE wants to attract players, they need to show gameplay. They need to show UI. They need to show all the features I listed in my first post.
Why? When you find this information anywhere else in the interwebs. Instead of waiting for their friends to tell them something, they can do some soul searching for themselves if they are brave enough.

Look. If I'm trying to find a good book to read, of course I'll consider how the book advertises itself. If the author says "This book is exclusively and uninsightfully about donkey grandpa porn", then I'm not going to waste my time or money on it.

It has a splash radius, and normally the idea IS to actually hit "someone" with the grenade launcher. To have the biggest impact in a group of mobs, you always aim the round at the enemy closest to the center. You don't go wasting rounds firing them around corners or away from your targets...they will not take the full splash damage from it.

Void Fissure Excavation bug

Tried submitting a ticket for this. Got an actual automated response somewhere along the lines of "Sorry we can't do anything to help you", yet this appears to be a bug within the game itself.
Did a T1 Excavation mission earlier today for void traces. I stayed up until I had almost 1k Cryotic (or whatever that material is). Extraction never came, and I was never prompted to leave the mission to complete it. The mobs leveled up quite a bit to a point where I could no longer kill them effectively. I continued the mission in the hopes that completion would appear.
No green extraction markers were present. I even purposely let two excavation machines die simultaneously so that I might possibly see a marker that some people said "can be hidden". There was no hidden green marker. I eventually had to cut my losses after 10 minutes or so and abort the mission at the cost of the time I put in.
Does anyone have any clue where I might submit a bug like this?
