The previous 'kings of &#!-whooping' still retain their edge and position as prime damage-dishers:
Vulkar, for sheer fire rate and DPS.
Kraken, which easily outclasses the Acrid/Brakk by miles.
Bo, great crowd-control weapon that the Galatine only just manages to rival.

Saryn (Sarin) is, in essence, too clean. Yes, her skills may be reminiscent of a viral infection, but the aesthetic, name and archetype suggest a more chemical aspect. And that aspect is more clinical; artificial, so to speak. It evokes a different image than the kind of frame OP is suggesting.
As skeptical as I was when I first started reading it, I really like that idea. Saryn's sleek lines and more chemical agency (hah, see what I did there) will not be compromised by a shuffling, grotesque bag of bio-gas and tumerous pus. If anything, they will contrast against the cleaner Saryn like the flipside to a coin.
The abilities are also creative - I like the idea of a stationary, deployable Lephantis for use in MD, ED or Survival, even if it may turn Warframe into WarTowerDefense. It's got room for tweaking. But the ceiling-walk definitely fits the rule of cool, and I can see a lot of utility if it turns you invisible while you're up there, or if there's AOE impact damage when you drop.
Where Saryn is the cold, sterile killer, the plague-frame is the shambling horror that you don't want to bump into at night. It's the literal swamp monster of the universe.

Seeing as how Zanuka is made up of vivisected Tenno, that would have a whole set of ethical issues.

Every post that OP has made in this topic contains at least one obvious mention of how the game is too easy, of how he loves a challenge, of how he has been conditioned by years of legendary-difficulty gameplay, of how he gets a kick out of surmounting the toughest games, etc etc ad nauseum.
It is clear that he is just using this thread to stroke his own ePeen ego, only rephrased and repackaged each time he posts.
If you tell him that the game isn't easy, or that it's fun, or that he should try different challenges, that is just fuelling another opportunity for him to go "huehuehue but i'm too good".
This thread adds value to nothing.

Well i am grandmaster founder myself and i think all time,
Why dont we get more? like you are founder now and you have some prime stuff?
In light of
1) All the things you founders got including actual physical items
2) The fact that what you would get was clearly, explicitly listed in excruciating detail on the Founder's page and FAQs
I stopped reading at this point.

Buy platinum, use it to trade for maxed out mods
Are you really that slow?
Mods that you can access and max out without spending a cent.
Trading is Pay-to-not-grind. It is far from pay-to-win.
Don't try to argue - you will lose.

I can also confirm that after running 10 minutes on EGate there were no resource drops. Will get this fixed up!
Thanks for the quick reply, Rebecca. Makes you wonder why the problem was limited to Venus alone though; I was getting resources as usual from other planets.
-
Yes, and no drops at all is really pushing it. It's unbelievable that a ten minute run yields absolutely nothing at all. Hope this gets fixed ASAP.
-
I've run a few missions on Venus for circuits and I've noted that no resources have been dropping at all. I just got out of a 10 minute survival run at the E Gate and not a single resource dropped, not even alloy plates.
Is anyone else experiencing this too?
-
So void missions aren't a slingshot raid into the deep unknown...
It's just going home.

Whoever said each Warframe is a unique character?
And DE is still a business - what is so wrong about making money? I have always pushed for more lore; now that they are linking the release of a warframe with an actual story, I can tolerate the one-off inconsistencies.
Some people will never be happy.

The titan extractor's main function is to yield resources which you can already access on a free account.
To get 1 more polarity you can just use a forma which can also be found free in-game.
Not getting your point.
As others have pointed out, it's pay2sleepmore, not pay2win. It is only pay2win to the losers and the lazy.
-
You can trade Platinum, but the beginning 50 can't be traded. Only Platinum you bought can be. Essentially Warframe just took the first step towards a P2W game.
Explain.

I can pull off what happened in the trailer quite easily. I do it all the time... Completely at random. Something that awesome cannot be coordinated. It happens when 4 players fight for a common goal... and a beautiful scene of chaos, and death erupts from an unspoken silent synergy... no giving orders, no planning... just pure chaotic carnage in a beautiful symphony of death!
Video or it didn't happen.

ha ha ha ha
oh
you're
so
f u n n y.

And they only gave you a common melee mod, after all you had to put yourself through? I guess you could say that was a...
shocking touch.

I am presenting factual visual evidence which you are deliberately ignoring.
Fact: Mag is still in her suit.
Fact: Cutting beams appear during the fight (time 2:48),
These two facts alone say that he's cutting her up alive. If you want conjecture back up back facts here it is. The cutting process is on a set or automated sequence. Alad does not initiate the cutting out as he is in a winning position as of time 2:48 in the trailer. Zanuka just broke Volts shield and Rhino's Iron Skin. He has no reason to rush the process and "lose profit" by killing the Mag before she is removed (teleported) from the Warframe.
All facts and evidence point toward the cutting processing being used on Warframe wearing Tenno without them being removed from their suits first.
As further conjecture it is more likely that a Stasis field is being used to both hold captives in place and prevent messy gore, then such a precise Teleportation system is being used to remove the Tenno from inside the Warframe.
I agree with Brasten. The video is meant to be seen by potential new PS4 players. The intent would most likely be to establish Alad and the Corpus as a ruthless faction that coldly dissects and murders player-characters. That pathos is achieved by the same cutting bonds that hexsected Excalibur beginning to form around a Mag that is helpless and also very much alive.
The only 'evidence' that OP has given us is that "you can see Tenno operatives outside of their warframes in rescue missions!" Please. No one knows that those captives are. We don't even know if they are Tenno, or if they are just colonists working for the Lotus and the Tenno. It is the same way in which the CIA has employed indigenous operatives in almost every covert op to date from Nicaragua to Afghanistan, but that does not make a sympathizer or a tool a CIA agent.
Ultimately, OP lost all credibility the moment he started saying things like "Boom" and "learn debate skills". You must either be one of those subpar debaters who think they know all there is to know about logic...or not a debater at all.
Sad.

I actually found the article really decent - it had some valid points, and also valid critiques. To me, that is indeed an accurate representation of a new player's experience. I remember feeling how the grind to buy and build my Latron was immense when I first started, but the more I played the less grindy it seemed (not to say that it isn't still a farmfest though).
Still, I'd give Warframe a much higher rating, definitely higher than COD Ghosts. I have no idea how that uninspired and repackaged title got an 8.8 rating. For all its touting, the campaign was awfully written. It had good concepts and wonderful themes that it never built upon and left to die. Singularly repulsive character development and scriptwriting. Even BF4's campaign felt better, and everyone knows how S#&$ BF campaigns are.
-
Well the true option all along should have been playing both sides. Keeping both sides in a struggle to prevent the Grineer from steamrolling mars and distracting the Corpus long enough to steal back our friends.
Sadly the dev team came up with a badly made "YOU MUST" scenario where only the extreme paths were allowed and not the balanced paths.
If the balanced path is allowed then what is the point of a dilemma? No one will go the extreme route.
-
Because the Grineer surely treat captured Tenno great.
Both sides suck, that's it :P
One side sucked less.
-
I just want to see Corpus civilians that I can mow down.
-
I think it's been properly established that OP made the thread to masturbate to his own damage output and also cannot type to save a life.
Can we all move on now? Anything worthy of discussion was concluded on the first page when people rightly pointed out OP's furious ePeen-waving.

All the ladies at parties must absolutely love you.
