    It was a broad statement and declaration since someone else already had a vaguely hostile remark and others will read replies before posting their own (Hopefully).
    If you felt offended or in some way targeted but my statement then I do apologizes for your offense.
     

  2. DE knows about it and doesn't have an issue since its using a SQL Quarry that they THEMSELVES have given to the players to see their own times and stats. There is nothing illegal going on here.

    If you have such a hard time finding Raid parties, just post on the Player Helping Player section requesting a group.
    OR
    Find one of the larger clans that do Daily runs to help out lower end players and solo players.

    Blind hostile comments like this are not gonna help to community grow or get better. So please do some research or ASK others before you start making such hostile and venomous remarks.
     

     

  3. I have had a sudden idea hit me today while I was just hitting random nodes to try and help out lower ranked players. There seems to be areas lacking in the matchmaking system, which will result on some undesired mission experiences. Which have made those sessions aggravating or just annoying to put up with for the sake of getting thou the mission.

     

    I have a few ideas which can help fix and improve the overall experience in the game with PUGs (Pick Up Groups)

     

    **Note I understand that they will be changes to the Star Chart in the future, with the whole Blowing up the Star Chart. So all things listed and commented are subject to changes and improvements.**

    (Also listed is a mixed bag of ideas from friends and clan members alike, so not all things are declared by one person)

     

    Let rank be a factor in matchmaking.

    The way I suggest this is by adding a Mentoring System.

    • Let players of a Mastery above 3 choose the option of becoming a Mentor so they can be matched with players marked as mentee. Mentors can go to planets and see a option to join a mentee in that area if there is a spot open in the mission.
       

    • Mentee can be grouped together in missions with each other for a better and even experience. Mentee will be matched with a mentor on the same node if one is available. Either wise they can send a request ping on the planet for a mentor to come and assist them in that sector.

    Language Filtering in Matchmaking

    I understand this might be taken negatively but it can also improve the overall experience.

     

    There are moments when you are matched with a player who is of another language. I have nothing against this, there have been times were communication helps pull off a specific task or understand a certain mechanic. Not being on the same page with your party can really make things unpleasant.

    This is mainly for those in the EU region where things are just clumped together and 20 dialects are mixed as one.

     

    Gameplay Style Tagging

    Users can mark themselves to certain play styles.

     

    This is to divide the speed-runners from the level explores. There are moments when you just want to explore a location and have fun with others, just to be unable to due to someone blitzing the level. This can also be applied to those who want to play a defense/survival mission past the first reward cycle before leaving.

    No offense but "I heard it from a guy in my clan" is hardly valid.

    If I manage to get him to toss me a screenshot sure thing. I understand the stand point you are seeing it from.

     

    For now we are all running on hearsay till details are hammered out to the wiki.

  6. From what I understand due to clan mates who have gotten to this point. Once you obtain a new sigil you will be getting a rep boost based on its rank. The high the sigil the more rep per mission, according to his math we will get up to 3x boosters near max tier sigil.

    Clearly it is my fault for being a veteran player, clearly it is my fault that I enjoy and love this game with a passion. Clearly you are missing the freaking point and you are not contributing to this discussion.

     

    If you want to prove that there is an issue with my play style and my gear provide detail to support the claim to make a constructive argument.

  8. TL:DR, We love this game like everyone else who plays it and is a part of these forums. We want to see what can change for the games sake not our own sake.

     

    I with deadly and archlight on this one, they have made hard points. So have a hand full of you on here as well to counter or add onto this this topic.

     

    In the end of the say it comes down to this.

     

    They can add weapons as much as they want or as long as they can. In the end that will not matter at all, because once the BRAND NEW smell of that item fades. We are all going back to our Dragon Nikana or Ichors for melee, our Boltor Prime for primary and the Brakk for secondary. Top ranking gear will out live and out shine anything DE even considers releasing.

     

    If they find a way to give us all our customization and freedom in a way that makes the game fair and balanced we all win. Sadly that comes with the price of buffing all or nerfing all at this moment as the game is structured. To correct this we need to redesign the WHOLE GAME just to make it fair again.

     

    Damage/Armor 2.0 fixed all of these issues but because of Mod 2.0 it breaks quick and easy. Melee 2.0 gives us a cool and flashy at times melee system, doesn't matter cause of Mod 2.0. New awesome and beautiful weapons mean nothing after a weak because the foundation does not support anything in the long run for these weapons and the fancy new mechanics they bring.

     

    We can keep the game as it is but risk losing more veterans and turn away some possible new ones in the process. I want this game so succeed just like everyone else on this forums that wants to argue this topic. Our ideas might be wrong or off the mark from the current path the team wants it to go. Overall we are here to keep it alive and keep us interested and playing. We want this game to live a long and healthy life just like WOW has been for years. This is why we are expressing our thoughts and concerns.
