It doesn't matter if anyone is forcing anyone to pay. This is economics not an idealist coconut island. Why do white knight knob goblins always end up using this excuse with free to play games? Do you expect a cookie for being content with something bad and accepting it? Just because I don't have to pay for the air I breathe doesn't mean I can't criticize someone when they let loose a massive fart in my presence. Use logic sometime. Money exchanges hands and it's still a product which takes your time which you should consider an investment which should be respected regardless. Despite not being the only one funding, I have a large group with substantial word of mouth, respected in blogging and game coverage. When so many (actually significant) people consider a change to be horrid, it can indeed snowball and reflect a tendency for bad changes if such changes continue. I know math and program games and even a complete mouth breathing imbecile should be able to do the math and realize that this weapons balancing is so off mathematically now (after the patch) that it's a joke. The sound of the gun now is also pathetic - by any reasonable standards.

I don't hold this game to reasonable standards. I hold it to the highest standards because it has the highest potential for being the best game.

It -could- be a bug. DE is an outstanding company and most content is amazing. If it isn't changed back it either reflects inability to fix a show stopper bug which renders a gun useless in end game content, or poor ability to gauge balance. Neither are acceptable because DE should continue excellence.

this game doesnt "take" anything from me. see, you want to talk about logic, and yet you're placing blame on a program you are willingly logging into. im not saying there aren't issues,(hell i keep getting powerlocked to where my abilities dont function and i cannot use my melee) but im not whining about them like a self entitled child. i make a post, say here's the problem, and wait for it to be fixed. you want to talk about white knighting? hop off that soap box for a second and take a look at what you are saying. it is YOU who makes the choice to log in, play the game, and spend money. you. nobody else. nobody from DE is pointing a gun at your head and saying PLAY MY GAME AND GIVE ME MONEY, which if you read your posts, is what you make it out to seem. we ALL are playing this by choice. if you aren't having a fun experience, then make a post on the forums stating the issues, and move on. if this beta test is bothering you so much, please, feel free to engage in another form of media entertainment.

but making threats? do what i say or i wont give you money! dude, thats beyond childish. cmon, you're better than that. you have to be.

  2. Why have you butchered my dual broncos and yet left the kunai alone? Dual Broncos were balanced in comparison to kunai and other weapons and required being directly next to opponent. The spread has been reduced to almost non existent. They give 6 bullets which is MORE THAN A 50% DECREASE IN DPS, WAY MORE. This also gets rid of the reason to use the weapon at all, being able to hit more than one opponent in close range with decent power. This is not balance, it is tragedy. The new sound is mockingly bad compared to the old one. Mockingly. My group and I won't be funding this game anymore until this is returned to how it was. Fun, and balanced. Heck, it was even weak compared to the kunai in many ways.

....nobody is forcing you to pay anything......but thank you for making yourself seem like the sole group that has been funding this game......

  3. Volt and mag both sat in my inventory not lvled , thanks for giving me a reason to re try them

i've been running my volt ever since i got my hands on it, and fell in love with it. the speed buff and chain lightning fix REALLY improve the overall enjoyability of zipping around as volt. although they kinda nerfed the OVERALL speed at which you can travel, i still feel its ok because now i can finally feel like im ddoing more to contribute to the fight than just mowing S#&$ into the ground.

  4. god fulkfogan, you cry like a little girl. idea. play music while gaming if you dont like the music. but instead of embarrassing yourself, and the entire community as well with this self-entitled childish behavior, maybe take a chill pill and relaaaaaaaaaaaaax man. i understand everyone has a preference as to what makes a game good. some folks are hip to the graphics, or story telling, or game play, or in your case: sound. but making a threat to leave a game because something doesnt work the way YOU feel it should, is well....pathetic. it's not YOUR game, buddy. it belongs to the dev teams, and the animation teams, and the forum teams. we are just lucky enough to be able to play such a great game for free. that being said, there are other games out there, and other communities your behavior and attitude would fit right in. so if you choose to, by all means go. i cant speak for anyone but myself, but im fairly certain you wont be missed. happy gaming!

  5. right i understand, what im getting at isnt that it be a necessity for survival, but if like a 3 second wall hang was implemented, that would at least give you a second or two to plot your next move if the heat is riding up on your neck.

  6. it's just i look at it like this: power, has purpose. im fairly certain there is more reasons than just looking like god at yoga class for the acrobatics. options. attack from the ground, or perform some maneuvers that can help excape/enter the danger zone.

  7. before anyone decides to possibly flame the hell out of me, read this carefully. this is the only, and i mean ONLY complaint i have, and on top of that, it's only a minor complaint. ok here goes.

so while i think all the acrobatic manuevers are awesome, the level designs really dont take advantage of them as much as they could be. there are more narrow corridors than open space, and when you do hit a level with an open area, there just really isn't a need to run up a wall as often as i would think. like there are very rarely any situations that pop up where i need to book it up a wall or wall run. i love performing these actions, so my suggestion is this.

add more flat surfaces that are relevant to the area you are engaged in battle in. if i got an ancient breathing down my back, and i can make out a perch or something i can get to, with more flat, scalable surfaces, i would be able to navigate in such a way that not only do i LOOK badass while running for my life, but it also feels relevant. like, had that ledge not been there, i would have been boned. just something to give the player that "THANK GOD THAT WAS THERE" vibe, but at the same time, if you choose to not use the surfaces you wont be penalized. im probably doing a horrid job in getting my idea across, but i hope someone will read this and have some additional insite to add in. thanks for reading, and happy gaming.
