Yeah diasbling both 10 & 11 works fine. It's super slow, though, but at least its downloading.

Guys relax, Warframe is obviously not in beta. Just because the developers pretend it is, doesn't mean anything. If your game has been out for five, six or however many years, then it's not in beta. More importantly, if you charge people money for content in the game and make a healthy profit from it, then you don't get to say your game is in beta. It's a fully released game.

I'm okay with adding new things to a game and new playstyles and such. I just feel you shouldn't do it until what is already there actually works as intended. It's not like the game didn't have serious flaws before PoE. The AI leaves a lot to be desired (to put it, er, mildly). No one really seems to like archwing. Etc.
I would much rather DE had spend their time, money and energy fixing those things first. If I had spend a ton of money on the game, instead of being relatively new to it, I would have been pissed that this is what they choose to use those money for, instead of actually fixing the existing issues. Like I said earlier, fix the foundation first, then add new stuff.

I'm not a vet. I just discovered this game two months ago. But this update is just bad. It feels so rushed, like something that needed several more months of development and testing before being released. Being on the plains is just not fun. I want to be a super awesome warframe killing hundreds of enemies and look cool while doing it. What I don't want is to be in srawny, weak operator mode. And I definitely don't want to take my super-awesome-made-for-killing warframe and ... go fishing? and mining? That's a pretty horrible concept, in my opinion.
I don't even think this game needed a free roam mode. The game market is already saturated with free roam and open world and 95% of those games sucks. Unless you are the very best at free roam and open world (like The Witcher 3), you're probably better of just staying away from it. Here, the plains look bland and boring, just shades of brown, grass and rocks and a few trees. Nothing about the plains feels open or alive. I feel DE should just have stuck with the normal mission formats. That's what drew me to this game in the first place: you could play it for hours farming prime parts or you could play it for five minutes running a few waves to lvl up your weapons. Imagine if DE had spend all that time and money they used on creating PoE to instead fix some of the bugs and flaws that existed in the game? Instead of just piling new content on top, fix the foundation first.
Okay, rant over, this is just my opinions as a relatively new player who only just finished completing the starchart. I'll keep playing the game, but I'll play the old standard missions and stay well away from the plains. At least until they have received some major fixes.

Because DE's servers are kind of broken right now. Their websites not loading. Their game is barely playing. Wait for the hype to die down and people to leave the game, then try again.

They are two different offers. You get both, as long as you have Twitch Prime. I got Frost Prime and just claimed the Soma Prime no problem.

I don't know. Warframe was the second most viewed twitch game last night. Even ahead of pubg. So I say it worked fine for DE. Just not for those of us who expected to get the drops.

But I mean, without some notification, it could be working. For all we know, they just gave us an orokin cell or a blueprint or something, and unless you methodically go through everything you have, there's no way of knowing.

Why? No one buys prime access for the gear. That can all be farmed pretty easily, except for the attachment stuff, which you can buy on seperate from the rest. Prime access is for the boosters and the plat, none of which goes away just because other people are getting a soma prime for free.

Except that upgrading to Twitch Prime and claiming your loot would probably count as using the perks. So don't bet on Amazon giving you a refund after that.

You didn't work for your primes. You played a video game. Wohoo, what a great accomplishment, I'm sure you'll get your nobel prize any day now.
I'll just say it again: absolutely no one - no other players, not DE, no one at all - cares how hard you think you had to "work" to get anything in this game. If you're really gonna loose sleep over what new players get or doesn't get, then that's on you and you alone. No one cares. If it really annoys you so much, you are of course free to stop playing the game. I feel you won't be missed.

Earning gear? You could always buy the Soma prime. You never had to earn it.

And if you'd have read my other posts, before assuming I had an issue with loss of plat sales (I very rarely sell stuff in fact) you will see that it's not the plat sales I have an issue with not to mention that plenty of us 'veterans' actually buy plat (like me) or prime access/unvaulting' (oh wait I did the unvaulting too...I won't now due to twitch prime).
It's pretty clear you're never going to look at the big picture here, probably because you're new to the game and don't want to grind (admittedly we don't like it either but it's part of their business model), so there's no point actually trying to explain it to you how this is ultimately going to come back and bite DE.
I'm okay with grinding. I initially bought plat to support DE but haven't spend it on anything but cosmetics and slots so far. Weapons and warframes (except for the frost prime I got, since I already had twitch prime before starting to play this game) I got on my own.
I wasn't talking about you in general, just all the "but how can I sell my soma prime components now" posts in this thread.
Ultimately, the twitch offers are not Warframe marketing, it's Twitch marketing. It's meant to get Warframe players to sign up to Twitch. In return, DE gets coverage on Twitch and maybe Twitch users to sign up to Warframe. I'm sure they thought about the pros and cons a lot more than any of us has and that they can see the big picture a lot clearer than you or me.

Free trial is a one time, one month deal. That's not giving new players access to all the best things for free, since we're just talking about one prime warframe or a couple of weapons and no new player is going to be content with that: they'll still want (and need) all the other warframes and weapons, and they'll still be spending time, money and plat on getting them.
I get that it sucks if you've been farming soma prime part for ages with the intend of making plat off of them, but that's how markets (real or virtual) goes. Sometimes your investments don't pay off. Sometimes a competitor (in this case twitch) comes along and offers your customers a better deal. Just as new players shouldn't feel entitled to free prime weapons, veteran players shouldn't feel entitled to new players platinum.

The soma prime is currently vaulted (as is the scindo iirc) and as such is only available via plat on trade... this is part of the games business model and to put it simply a free to play game can not exist if everything is free AND easy to get... if it was all free AND easy to get nobody would invest any real money in the game and ultimately it would either change to a pay to play model or shut down. If you give a new player some of the best weapons in game what reason would they have to invest any time or money into any other part of the game because they already have some of what is deemed 'end game' weaponry.
As a fairly new player, this is not something that is just being added. All the best weapons was already available to me from the very start. All I had to do was give DE my credit card information, buy the plat, then go buy whatever I wanted. Now I have to give my credit card information to Twitch instead. Don't see how that changes anything.

Because you can only get the sculpture once per week.
Look in your alerts, if the treasure run is there, it means you haven't done it this week and you can get a sculpture. If it isn't there, it means you already done it and you won't get a sculpture.
