  1. Glaxion and it's vandal variant should be the signature weapon of Frost, for very obvious reasons. As for the benefit, cold procs could stack. Each stack would slow the enemy by a percentage until they are frozen solid, and strip a percentage of armor for the duration of the proc, which would eventually strip armor completely. This would fit frost's theme and abilities perfectly, and might appeal to those who play a certain cold themed character from a certain other major video game.

How would this work? Like a % crit chance when you proc status? Would that boost the damage of the status you just proc'ed? I think this ends up too confusing.

Hits that proc status have a 30% chance to be a critical hit. Brings it full circle with hunter munitions. Sounds alright to me. On most status guns you aren't running any crit damage, and a lot of status guns have a low crit multi. Since it's a flat 30%, it wouldn't be out of control with hybrid guns, which would likely have less than 100% chance to roll that 30%.

  3. Yeah,

That is a possible alternative, but it means losing the enormous damage of my primary (Corinth or Sanctigris). However, there's a much larger problem: punchthrough doesn't work on it, so it's useless to me.

Yeah, the lack of punchthrough is really terrible. It was so fun to just fire this thing through a bunch of enemies and see the gas procs do their thing.

  4. They've reverted the changes to Ogris, so maybe there's hope for Tysis fans. I got a little excited when I realized a lot of the damage decrease was due to a punchthrough bug, but Doom is right that it shouldn't be another generic IPS weapon. It's got a very specific role as a pure elemental status monster.

After running a search on reddit, punch through mods appear to be bugged on Tysis, breaking the new DoT mechanic. Running some quick tests in sim with a half-built (Catalyst, but 0 Forma because I've never invested in Tysis), fitting Seeker massively reduces damage and status output.

Can you try testing the full build without seeker fitted?

That helped, but it's still not where it was.

  6. I've invested 6 forma into this weapon, and rolled a riven 20 times. Can you at least explain why you felt the need to completely annihilate an obscure weapon with a fun niche use? I feel like you wanted to help it, that this was intended as a buff, but it most certainly is not. All I'm asking is for the return of the weapon that I have heavily invested in.

  7. The latest update reworked Tysis in such a way to render it completely useless. The addition of physical damage completely ruins it as a pure status weapon. It did not require any additional damage, as putting gas damage on it complimented the corrosive in a that added adequate damage. This rework was misguided, completely removed the weapon's niche, and rendered it useless, despite the numbers on the screen being higher, it is not merely a nerf, but renders the weapon completely useless.

For comparison, equip both the old and new versions of the weapon with: hornet strike, barrel diffusion, lethal torrent, seeker, pathogen rounds, pistol pestilence, scorch, and auger pact. Then compare how fast each one kills a pack of 8 level 130 corrupted heavy gunners in the simulacrum. The old version will be significantly faster. The weapon was fine as it was, please restore it.

  8. As zephyr prime with the turbulence ability active, I fell into a pit on a corpus map in regular onslaught. When I respawned, I was stuck in a landing animation, with the screen flashing black. I could use chat, but the esc key didn't come up and I couldn't abort or anything. So I was stuck there, smashing my head into the ground repeatedly until the round ended. What's worse is I was inches from the conduit but unable to move that tiny bit to go through while my squad waved goodbye, and gave their condolences. I took a screenshot, but I guess it was while the screen was black. May as well post it, even if you can't tell much from it.
