I use a sentinel because I can switch them freely without having to go through the tedious stasis crud. I'm looking forward to Khora because I'll finally have a kavat that isn't annoying to choose for a mission.

IMO she's hardly a Kavat when she can't use Cat's Eye or Charm. Sure, she has the ensnare-like attack, disarming "defensive" attack, and heal, but if that's all the special stuff she brings to the table, I'd much rather have a regular Smeeta that revives itself after 45 seconds.

Yeah, but last Christmas they had hydroid and Oberon. Both of which are relatively unpopular. Oberon only became really popular recently with his rework.

So they don't always have an amazingoy popular frame for Christmas.

Also, even though mesa is fun and powerful, I feel like she isn't that popular.... I think either people get bored of her because exalted weapons are unfun and not very engaging, or she's just really hard to farm

Last Christmas was met with Mirage Prime, not Hydroid and Oberon Prime both releasing at once in December.

Ha-ha, nope. It has nothing to do with relics farming, cause Onslaught is WAY faster for it, plus a massive focus farm. Also what reason to waste your time on >30 lvl excavations, if they give you THE EXACTLY SAME AMOUNT OF CRYOTIC? FOR RELICS? ENDO? I doubt it.

You can do an excavation fissure, which has one of the fastest rotations of all fissure-type missions. Plus, it's endless, so you can incrementally get resource boosters. Do these for Baro instead of the Sibear. You'll eventually end up with more Cryotic than you realize. I know excavation fissures aren't exactly common, but at the same time, the Sibear isn't going to the vault or anything.

  4. Oberon is pretty accessible, use his Iron Renewal, and you'll get pretty hefty status resistance. Alternatively, you can use Inaros and his Negation Swarm augment, which gives him complete status immunity. Carry a dagger with Covert Lethality to kill enemies with finishers and restore health. Lastly, Trinity can use her Link to grant herself status immunity for a set duration as long as the Link is connected to at least one enemy.

Ivara yes, Mesa no...the whole POINT of that mission is to get Mesa, it's a boss fight, that's an annoying grind in of itself.

The whole point may be, yes, but it doesn't mean you have to spend many hours in a row for her. I did six Invasions for three Nav Coordinates, one keyshare per week for 2 weeks, and I got all of her parts assembled. Invasion missions are fast, lasting only one rotation, and each Assassination mission on Mutalist Alad V barely takes 2 min. A whole keyshare of 4 Assassinations doesn't even take 10 min. I can sum up my experience on Mesa acquisition as not even taking one hour of total mission time. Even if I had less good luck and needed 3-4 keyshares, that's still well under 2 hours.

But, some people choose to be less patient (which may or may not be a good thing) and just spam ODD/ODS to get those Nav Coordinates, and they complain that Mesa takes too long to get.

That's the exact thing people do when they compare Nezha to Rhino.

"I have 0.1% playtime with Nezha. I got them to rank 30 at akkad and used each ability once, then stopped playing them, so I know everything about them now. Just a cheap Rhino rip-off. MR fodder. Sold."

Most people don't even give a frame a chance, but still love to pretend that they did.

Nezha and Rhino are toe-to-toe except in two areas: Nezha's Chakram is pretty useless compared to Rhino's Roar. I mean, a Glaive Prime is a better Chakram than Nezha's Chakram, and our Operators have Void Dash, making the teleport part basically a gimmick, so it's unfortunately a non-ability. The other area is Warding Halo just not being as tanky as Iron Skin, both in terms of EHP they add and the fact that Nezha can't "throw away" his Warding Halo if it's at a low health %.

Overall, Nezha really is a discount Rhino, which actually isn't a bad thing in the grand scheme of things. But, they're similar enough to be forced to compete with each other, and Nezha does lose the competition. If something about him becomes unique (maybe give his Chakram a bigger role, plus find a way to add HP to his Warding Halo or simply recast it), he'll finally really shine. But for now, he's only going to be used for speedrunning a mission if I'm not in a Volt or Zephyr mood, or as DPS for Bere/Hydron/ESO with his 4.

The thing is Warframe isn't meant to be played where you grind for one specific item like that. You're supposed to be doing the cryotic runs for other reasons, and getting the cryotic for the hammer as a side benefit.

I try to convince people to treat Ivara and Mesa the same way. Casually play Spy missions once in a while (Kuva Siphons and fissures are a good way), and all of Ivara will eventually assemble. Instead of grinding out ODD or ODS, just let an Infested invasion offer a Mutalist Alad V Nav Coordinate, which is a guaranteed drop after doing only 3 quick missions.

Some things are designed to be extremely grindy if farmed, but aren't actually bad at all if you pace it. These aren't primes, they're not going anywhere.

The Sacrifice is in production, likely to be released as soon as the Venus set has been released, hotfixed, patched, retested and settled down (so about a month, maybe five weeks after). Apostacy 'stage 2' or 'continuation' may have a return much, much sooner than that too, in order to prep more hype/lore/confusion/panic/murder/flamingos/frustration/retcons/player abandonment issues/etc.

Right now, any voice acting time they have for any lines they would replace is likely being taken up by the recording of voices for Venus and The Sacrifice.

So here's the question; would you rather they spend a month updating all of the Lotus' lines with somebody else's voice, and delay all of the voice work on these two, due to the Sound team having to check and implement all of these changes instead of working on the other two projects... Or... would you rather get the next actual content and Quest be released and bring back Space Mom so we don't need that in the first place?

I thought The Sacrifice was being prioritized over Venus. It just has too many spoilers to be shown on devstreams, so we're not getting any useful info yet. Venus on the other hand is probably a much bigger project because of all the content we'd have to receive to keep us busy for months instead of a quest we can finish in less than a day (excluding possible Foundry build times). Venus is most likely not coming until fall, whereas The Sacrifice can probably release in summer, possibly earlier.

  9. Our Warframes, except Nidus, don't get scaling armor as we rank up, but everything else (health, shields, energy) does. I can get on board with this, since now we'd be on more even ground with the enemies. Because of how things are currently set up, though, this change should probably only come with Damage 3.0, or the Grineer might turn into a joke.

  10. If my crit build does not involve slide attacks, then the only crit chance mod I use is Blood Rush (also a riven if I have one). Your proposal has good intentions, but the benefit is far too weak compared to +165% crit chance stacking with combo multiplier. You can try to argue that I can use both Blood Rush and the new Maiming Strike or True Steel, but that's not wise when I still have Primed Pressure Point, Primed Fever Strike, Voltaic Strike, Berserker, and Organ Shatter to fit in.

Blood Rush plus those five mods leaves two left. The last slots will be a combination of Drifting Contact, Weeping Wounds, Condition Overload, Primed Reach, and/or a riven. All of these mods I've mentioned, you know are very powerful, and they're already fiercely competing to fit in a non-slide attack build. If Maiming Strike falls out of favor by taking your proposed change, I won't use it even in a slide attack build.

or you can like...not always go for THE BEST!

seriously, the variety is there, people just stick to the 'good' frames then complain there's no variety

every frame is useful for something, period.

Lackluster frames do exist, and you can argue that every frame, even the worst ones in their pre-reworked forms, are useful if you just do 95%+ gunplay. The reason we don't always go for "the best" is because that much content is easy enough to complete with any frame and decent weapons. If you start challenging our gear and equipment, then "the best" start to feel mandatory, and if only one frame can efficiently do a certain task, the end-game then becomes rather stale.

Do you know why Arcane Energize prices are rising? Because people are starting to get bored of Tridolon, so fewer Energizes are being dropped and entering the economy.

I cant think of very many useless abilities, jsut players who dont know how to play the frame well.

A number of 1 abilities are not very good, but they cost a mere 25 base energy, so there's argument and counter-argument. Things like Volt's Shock, Ember's Fireball, Loki's Decoy, you probably don't find many situations where you actively desire to have them specifically. They can be useful or nice to have, but they all have "greater" versions of themselves (like Volt's Discharge, Ember's Fire Blast, Loki's Irradiating Disarm respectively).

    Harrow Prime 20 September 2021 M 92

Hm, in terms of time frame, it actually does not seem to matter much whether Limbo or Chroma comes first to be primed. Mesa or Equinox Prime in December is all that matters from a business standpoint since both are popular frames and it's Christmas season by then.

For Pets 2.0, skills and precepts should be a part of that companion. Long ago Warframe abilities were like mods that could be added and removed, this changed for Warframes but has stayed the same for pets.

    Why?

We have no control over what they do, so if we don't want them to spam anything other than one "ability", we just have all but one precept removed. At least, that's probably what the thought was in theory.

  15. My solution is, if a teammate kills an enemy within your radius, everyone within that radius gains the energy at 50% effectiveness. That way, you're still the primary source of energy if you have ample enemies to kill, and the energy potential isn't lost if someone else is nuking all the enemies before you can do anything.

Silva & Aegis is one such example. When sheathed, the sword is just a handle and the shield looks like scrap metal. Unleash them, and the handle forms a sword of burning energy and the shield unfolds and suspends itself by that same fire. The prime variant isn't like that, it just looks a normal mechanical weapon pair, with the mace spurting some flames out its end.

Mace? I thought it was a Magical Girl's wand.

  17. A shield can theoretically be dual-wielded with almost any one-handed weapon. We could have mace/hammer & shield, machete & shield, even gunblade & shield! The limits are only our imaginations!

For some of us, this would be a QoL blueprint.

I have spent too much time looking at my foundry... crafting pizzas.

It would be nice to have a 100x blueprint, or the ability to craft more than 10x at a time.

I have a simpler fix than introducing a whole new blueprint that we have to work to get: build queues.

It's been brought up before, but basically, if you have multiple single-use blueprints of the same item or have a reusable blueprint, you can queue the Foundry to automatically build more of the same item once an iteration finishes. With an initial handful of clicks, you can set the Foundry to build 1000x Energy Restores over 100 min instead of having to manually click once every min for 100 min to build those 1000.
