  1. Ladies and Gentlemen, the ribbon has surfaced once again!

It's time to go to get your orange on and make a wall at Larunda 1!

But some of you may be confused and we got a massive surge of new players since last September, so let me explain for those out of the loop.

    Last year this happened.

    https://www.warframe.com/news/september-a-month-of-solidarity

Needless to say this was horrible, but it gave us all a chance to show our support to those affected by Leukemia, and so support we did. We built a magnificent wall at Larunda 1 made of merciless, orange, cancer killing space ninja's and proceeded to stay there for 3 days straight. It was truly heartwarming to see a good portion of the community rush to the wall, all of them declaring 'F*** Leukemia' by being there. Some of us even posting links to Leukemia donation sites. Some people going out of their way to advertise the wall and get more people in. And even some actual Leukemia patients dropped by. I still have a picture of the event on my desktop to this day.

(Yeah a green light got in the way but what can ya do?)

So I once again call upon all of you to join me and flood the Larunda relay with your anti-Leukemia attitudes. Let's make sure this becomes a yearly tradition, and show the support that made DE make the Harmony Ribbon a permanent thing!

    This one's for you, ImSavior.

EDIT: If you can donate, I highly encourage you to do so here. http://www.llscanada.org/

  2. You'll always find bad eggs who actively mock you when down. Elitism and that kind of behavior is as old as Warframe itself, and sometimes it rears it's ugly head. Doesn't mean Warframe has fallen, in fact, it's risen to one of the best games out there.

In short, this is nothing new. Online play is online play. You'll have to deal with it.

If you truly want teamwork and people you can rely on, go recruiting and make what is expected clear.

  3. I think the channel name and smiley face are an instant 10/10.

You had a good first three seconds. I was actually going "Oh. This is going to be fairly high quality." And when those faces came on I lost my sides in orbit. There's potential here. You could, for instance, put a lot of effort into editing in-game and all that but then have a stark contrast with those derpy little faces. The thing I'd work on the most is a better mic, since that would make it 10 times better and in turn make the irony of what you have here a lot better and more entertaining.

  4. It's a thought that's been on my mind forever. Will there be a Warframe 2?

Well right now it doesn't look like it. Warframe constantly updates and games like that tend not to have sequels. But let's say that Warframe completes it's story and now it's grown to a point where it has to give a massive update, so massive that they might as well make a new game out of it. What do you think Warframe 2 would look like? (And yes I'm ditching the financial and logical implications of DE making a Warframe 2 for this discussion.)

  5. Who would win. This post...

You nerf something, and people find another exploit, you nerf that, people find another exploit, you nerf that, people find another exploit.

Sit back, have a long, detailed, in house discussion as to /why/ people are exploiting your game instead of just playing it. And look for ways to correct the issues that are causing people to LOOK for exploits rather just enjoying the game. For instance, I got a riven that requires me to kill four dargyn pilots before they hit the ground. This is such a joyless task, that I resulted to using the birb exploit to suck them up off their feet with tornadoes. (Yes, that's considered an exploitation of game physics.)

Look at the joyless parts of your game, figure out how to make them rewarding, and people will stop exploiting the game. Nerf after nerf after nerf has never been a valid solution, because no matter how many times you hit that nerf button, this will just keep happening. The solution to exploits is to make people not feel the need to look for them. As long as people feel the need to look for something they can exploit, people are going to find what they are looking for, and you lack the ability to prevent that. There's no two ways about it, you are not capable of finding and fixing all exploits, you are capable of finding out what's causing people to exploit, and doing something about that.

Or DE and an age old saying.

  6. Bloody and visceral. I was cruising along the Corpus gas stations of Jupiter when the thing jumped me from the shadows. It was like a black and red monstrous ninja with this cruelly curved scyth, death incarnate. The Stalker proceeded to ram it's blade into my abdomen, then let go of it's weapon so that it could rip my arms off and shove it's Despair down where my throat should be. In an instant I was down and gagging, and then The Stalker misted away as fast as he had come. For the rest of my noob days I cowered in the light, glancing nervously at every shadow.

My brother and I can successfully take on Teralysts now without any problems but if it wasn't for the shared resources from the community, I definitely would have given up.

Onkko, if you know something FFS SPEAK UP!

DE does rely on the community a bit to much for my liking, however that's a problem with the game as a whole not just the Eidolon fights. And since it's a problem as old as time, we've already gone over it with them. It's 10 times better than it was in 2013, but it doesn't look like we'll be getting that kind of help any time soon. Besides, as I stated before, there's no real fix to this problem that wouldn't screw something over. Not to say there aren't improvements to be made, but I don't see the things that OP is suggesting actually fixing much at all.
