    Fixed it. Was able to get into the game after restarting the console.

    After my game froze after completing a defense, I quit the game and tried to restart it. Now, after the the first loading screen. The game is now stuck on a black screen with the game logo on it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail. I’m unable to go any further than the black screen.
