  1. let me direct ur attention to this Video, if u are interested in seeing the most advanced game graphics possible todate:

     

     

    the game was released in late 2013 on Xone but was seven years in the making,

    it even surpasses most of the pre.rendered cinematics when it comes to

    global Illumination and face animations .. this video shows the maxed out PC version

     

    crytek was able to use deffered lightening even in the Xbox Version of the game,

    they use PBR for difficult materials like hair and skin ...

     

    thats when the best programmers and artist in the world are brought together

    by someone who is willing to put all money and effort into achievments and breaking new ground (for all of us)

  2. PBR is mostly for architectual visualisation, it still has to proof its usefuelness in game graphics

     

    lighting effects on the surface of objects are calculated in realtime from values rather then

    being achieved from premade texture effects ...

     

    in any case, as an artist u lose control with this method, as an designer u can save a lot of time creating assests

    that way ... but its an generic general approach that cant lead to excellencie, its only good for mass production

     

    in warframe it leads to redicules overbright highlights and unpredictable coloring

     

    the creative part of PBR is pure code based, so in the end, it will make crearting unique, sophisticated

    graphics in games more difficult ( as u Need an Artist and a programmer)

    and thus will lead to more mediocredity in games ...

    the chroma Frame is just a undefined mass to me most of the times and its hard to get an angle were u actually can 'understand' his bodyshape

     

    ist not bad from the design part, as it is detailed, wich is a plus for all frames regardless how goofy ...

     

    but I cant undestand why chroma got a duckface in the end

    I started in 2013 and I never took the design council serious ...

    here, be part of the process, as soon as u have paid ur 200$,

    real life experience tells us, if u throw money at people u will

    never earn their respect and have no chance of being taken serious,

    so dont even bother in relationships that only exist because u are willing to pay money

     

    everytime a contest is run in free to play games about fan creations being implemented,

     

    they have a item ready made for release, but they do a contest anyway, to keep  U involved,

    in the end they choose something that looks similar to the already made one ...

     

    truth falls from the sky like cold rain ...

  6. beta is only a term used for savety ... look, the game is not called beta becasue it is still being worked on to its final form, it is a game that is constantly updated with new and untested code, thats why they call it a 'beta'

    there is also the aspect of making the player feel like being part of the development process

    but DE made 8 million $ profit in 2014 and they get money from different sources,

    they spend more on advertising then for the stuff they hire ...

    since they decided to go the dark long route of free to play they make much more money then before,

    but the game itself would be much better of course if puplished ina traditionel way like a sub MMO

    a few years ago all free to play games were called beta, simply to avoid refunds and stuff,

    also u cant accuse them of bait and switch nerfing just for generating profit ... cause its beta, right?

    u spend real money on a virtual currency, wich u then spend on a buggy game in beta ...

    said game is advertised with a budget of over 5 million dollars ..

    u really should start to draw some lines ...

    Multi Dynamic Gmes conditionally agreed to acquire the Sumpo Sale Shares,

    representing 58% of the entire issued share capital ...

    the remainder of sale Shares is to be acquired by Perfect Online.

     

    Digital Extremes will become an indirect 58% owned subsidiary of the Company(Sumpo),

    and consolidated Profit or loss and assets of DE will be accounted for in the

    consolidated financial Statements of the Group.

     

    Sumpo holds 61% of sale shares (and B Shares) of wich 58% is bought by MDG and 3% is bought by PWE.

    MDG is a subsidiary of Sumpo like DE is now, PWE gets exclusive puplishing rights for ALL DE games.

    on page two, the Report from 2014-12-22, in Apendix IV conteints detailed financial informations

    about DE from 2011 to 2014

     

    in 2014 they made around 25 Million with a Profit of 8 Million ...

    Sumpo just paid them 78 Million, and u think nothing will Change !?
