  1. Well, you're wrong. I'm talking about the more recent set of missions, not the first one. I'm not even sure how you could make that mistake if you'd read any post in the thread besides mine.

The first planet that fell to grineer really quickly gave an orokin catalyst to the grineer supporters

  2. Oooo, good point.  At first I was thinking Grineer since priority numero uno is protection of Tenno, but dead is better than red.

Hah!  I love throwbacks to this expression.

Really, the rational thing to do as a tenno would be to fight for both sides to prolong the conflict and deplete enemy resources, ultimately resulting in a Pyrrhic victory for one side or the other while preparing an offensive

  3. To be fair.... people who play a lot socially are the ones who are selfish if they never made duplicates, because they are always asking their cell mates to wait while they switch stuff over.

It was a flaw in the first place to create the incentive for people to do this (I was in between... often moving mods, mostly creating redundant copies for warframes I commonly switched between, like volt for non-defense tower missions).  If I didn't do so, my clan mates would always be waiting for me.  Lame.  I am sitting with probably a total of 12 redundant mods built from the equivalent of 500 to 1000 uncommon fusion cores.

However, the new system is better IMHO, but so many players have committed ridiculous amounts of resources to duplicates that choosing not to address their frustration would alienate players, punishing some early backers of the game.  Whether you criticize their less meticulous approach to mod switching is irrelevant.  A portion of player constantly switched, some chose to make duplicates.  From the eyes of the devs, they are responsible for creating incentives for both practices.

The only proper, even Pareto efficient, solution would be to keep the new system while giving recompense for those who committed extensive resources to duplicates.

  4. First, I would like to say THANKS to the devs for making this change.  The previous system provided incentives for people you play with to constantly fiddle with mods in between matches for weapons, costing time (and their friend's time), reducing overall enjoyment, while saving many hundreds of fusion cores.

I previously had leveled several mods, in particular warframe mods, to their max level, to save myself the time when switching between warframes and/or weapons.  I don't mind having several versions of the same mod that are at different levels (can be a bit of a head-against-wall situation now), but what is REALLY frustrating is having leveled four of the same mod to the max level, and now  simply having them to look at.

To clarify, before I burn these mods with tears in my eyes thinking of the hundreds of fusion cores I put into them:

    1. Is there ANY chance that this system will be reversed?  IF I burn these mods then this gets reversed, I will be so angry I will stop playing and speak horribly of my experience in bars to people who probably don't even own computers.

    2. Could we get an option of sacrificing levels on the mods we have maxed out?  If I have two rare mods maxed out, but no other copies, I would prefer to have on at a higher level than the other, for when I am leveling out other frames/weapons.

    3.  This seems very unlikely and difficult to administrate to me, but could a person submit a support ticket to have a redundant mod converted into its equivalent fusion cores plus the original level zero mod?  This would be the most awesome situation.

  5. I was solo right up until the last piece of the reactor was destroyed, had an Ash from drop in at the last second, who then went invisible and rushed to the finish, timing me out while I dealt with the mobs.

That person who joined and doesn't even bother with the combat aspect of the game should have to wait in that situation.  Otherwise, anyone who chooses the 'online' social aspect has to run non-combative speed frames to avoid that sort of screw-over.
