im sorry for all this but i was so happy that warframe had them optional... after all this time i thought i was "safe"
i dont want to give up warframe just yet ... is there any way to make the grineer hacking easier ??? or some Special tipps??
i have no Problem on corpus terminals... because i figured out to just do the outer ring first but i cant seem to find anything on the grineer hacking ...

well im sorry i only read the Definition on Wikipedia and found nothing wrong with it (i dont want to upset anyone to be honest)
From Wikipedia
QTEs generally involve the Player following onscreen prompts to press Buttons or manipulate Joysticks within a limited amount of time
if i hack the grineer console i actually think im doing it or??? i get a limited amount of time to press a button if it Shows me to press that button ...
i.e. i press tab every time the game Shows me on the wheel when i should press tab in the correct time and if i take too Long it Fails ...
im terrible sorry if i got that wrong but im also trying to see my mistake here ... this Definition fits or maybe i shouldnt listen too much to Wikipedia.. it was wrong many times before but ist beside the Point
TLDR: i really LOVE Warframe but im getting conflicted with the Hacking minigame that now got essential instead of purely optional
(i dont call it QTE anymore but im still confused about that Definition to be honest)

well i would be fine with it if there was a giant WARNING sign on my ciphers telling me that they are useless ... i wouldnt even complain
the Thing is i would have stopped playin warframe a Long time ago if i had to be forced with the "hacking minigames"
(the grineer one is the only one that has me troubling i hit the button when the visual prompt appears in the correct time to do so to succeed .... it is a quick time Event as described on my wiki and im sorry if i may have misread it)
i dont know why it shouldnt be a QTE when its actually the exact Definition of a QTE on Wikipedia but im open for " other not objective interpretations" i dont mind People calling it otherwise ... ist a really bad Videogame term afterall
im extremely sorry(really) im just disappointed that i still have to do this after all the time and resources i had put into my life supply of those damn ciphers ... if i only had known that they were getting useless one day ...

tell that to all those People that just lost the spy sortie Mission ... i spend so much time credits and resources to build a life supply of ciphers and now they are useless ... i hope i find an alternative bacause i have a Problem with the grinner hacking minigame

well after 3 years i still fail ... they are not fun,not lore friendly and genereally annoy me to the very core
i dont want to Play them and after all the credits and time/resources i spend into my ciphers i feel betrayed
there is no warning in the game that These ciphers are completely useless now ... i made them to not let my Team down and to Support them during missions
i spend so mucht time and Money into the game that ist hard to accept but im interested in a triple AAA game not a QTE puzzel game and it drives me so much out that i might stop playing it anymore ...
i enjoyed it extremely for the past 3 years but ist an extremely hard pill to swallow ... especially on those spy missions that dont give you a second Chance at all and instant fail your Team

Hi i made 1300+ ciphers (and dont ever intend to run out of them) in warframe because i highly dislike the QTE hacking minigame
to my complete shock i found out that i cant use my Hard earned ciphers (i actually farmed alot for them,spend the credits resources and waited countless times ingame) anymore
i want to be really honest... i love Warframe, im a FOUNDER and i played since open beta but this QTE is driving me completely insane
i have extremely bad memories of Resident evil 4 i hated every second of the QTEs and finally had to cheat my way through the game to be able to enjoy it
im good at fps games (actually good at titanfall,blacklight retribution,Hl2 dm mods and more) but im absolutely against any kind or FORCED QTE element ... most of my friends have stopped playing warframe because of the hacking minigame ... some of them have found out about the ciphers and stayed with me a little longer...
but now i failed my team because i couldnt find the cipher button in the new sortie spy mission ... i even get "fried" on the timeless grineer hack terminals for no reason at all and it directly fails the mission
i dont want the QTEs to be a necessary part of the game and otherwise why did i spend so much into the ciphers if they turned useless anyway ???
i dont know if i can handel forced QTEs in this game ... they nearly killed my interest and enjoyment at first when Warframe was new until i found out about the ciphers
im sorry for my bad english but im really frustrated right now and i hope thsi is actually just a "BUG" and not intentional

thanks for the Responses after some time i see a chance that i maybe train my skill in the grineer hacking minigame department (after 3 years i got around the corpus one) so im actually up to the challenge to get the grineer part to work too ..
if there are any tipps or Solutions you may have im open for trying them out ...
as curently this minigame has a est. 90% chance to fail every time i tried it or i run out of time and get zapped) i would still prefer to just use my ciphers but since this option is out of the way this is the only Chance i have ... im a bit angry to get forced into this but im willing to give it a try even if it annoys me to no end ... i love warframe i put Money on it before it was in beta and im not giving it up even as these annoying parts get essential and unavoidable

there is an older american website wftrading it "kind of" tells you a minimum medium and high price on most things ... i its US only so its mostly different int he EU

Hell why not make the next game have us be the Maker with amnesia, from being somehow sealed away by someone else just as powerful.
Ahem ... there is a bioware game for you .. its called KOTOR knights of the old republic ... your charactere has this the entire game and it turns out that he is the highest of all sith lords

my main pc is in repair and i had to use my very old emergency pc as a last resort
just installed warframe on it but i cant log in
the report from deathsnacks says that the warfame website is down
maybe its just accidentally at the same time, my firewall and anti-virus ist forced open and the port too

what in the name of raptor jesus was that ??? the FIRST SENTINEL to finally replace my CARRIER and it gets nerfed because of it ???
do you even WANT anyone to use other sentinels DE??? this was the chance to change that with an actual firepower sentinel!!

um ... thanks for trying to nerf loki ....
its there because some players have worse eyes and cant see their own charactere while cloaked
those players constantly kill themselves because they have less deph perception thanks to a missing player model (for them) and its harder to get a feeling of the distance
im personally not involved but i read threads about massive responses from people with the inability to play without a visible player model (for them) especially if it comes to guessing distances with potential selfkill weapons

try the options menu theres an option which turns on those effects to be permanent at least from the description maybe it helps

Hi , im a bit unfortunate and have to use a gaming mouse to play warframe(left hand is kina slow) ...
there were just so much additional buttons i could set on my mouse
i now cant use the aim mode for both like before: (secondary fire if the weapon supports it AND zoom on others)
also the secondary mode wont let me use my right mouse button on jumping/aiming in the new parkour system if i set it to secondary attack only (also my other weapons wont zoom in which dont have a second firemode anyways..
TLDR: instead of an extra button can we get the old settings to combine the two ??? like in an options menu???

Change energy COLOR to not be black!!!
this helps alot
(black energy color makes you near invisible to yourself , try other colors to get a VERY visible effect
i once made an puke green loki ... he was shining and blinking like a christmas tree in invisible mode)
just found a video but the lighning is messed up
P.s. turn off BLOOM this video suffers badly from it (in my case EVERYTHING is hard to see as soon as i activate bloom)
run vanilla bloomless version and use color loki = christmas tree on legs (couldnt find a video with a green loki and NO BLOOM at the same time, sorry)
before complaining: what im trying to tell is you can see his shape/borders much better if you equip other energy colors to the point where you can see yourself exactly also turn off bloom (it shapes my maps in random colors and makes any kind of multi-coloring hard to differenciate from each other ... in my bloom enabled games everything looks kinda blue or green for example)

i played DOW2 Retribution all campaigns
and wolfenstein new order
those games have an ENDING and warframe hasnt so its kind of a break
and if you play the order 1886 you get a 2-3 hour brake and with ground zeroes a 10 minute break XD

Its the REASON it was made ... you couldnt take any excal at T4 40 minutes BEFORE without spamming blind

rest:duration mods and primed duration
i could swap out fleeting expertise, get +30% stealth duration and an additional mod slot so i can combine QT and primed flow!!!!
QT saved my life countless times and with primed flow instead of fleeting expertise i can not only stealth longer but also get less squishy in the process

it happened in the event too ... i can confirm it but i got lucky (we were always 4 and could revive each other in time)
it ranged from 297 to 360 and we died constantly in that event but we kept mesa out of harm so the could kill him fast enough before we could be overwhelmed in this event

windows 10 still has a giant problem with older games ... some may even START now but the screen is TINY and explorer icons overlap it at the moments ... (you need a clean desktop and black background to eliminate this in the most part but the black background still mixes in the window of the game ...)
i.e. everything that isnt capable of fullscreen modes or resolutions has visual problems ... i hope they fix it soon

i just did it it was rank 4 test ... but sadly its corpus only (i have no Problem with corpus hacking but thanks anyway)
