10 times more gore. Like when you kill grineer, blood splatters everywhere, it covers the walls, organs fall out and flow over the ground, brains are smeared everywhere etc

Can we take our time dissecting their bodies too? I want to go full Unit 731 on them.

So I have often - half jokingly - half seriously considered Clem to be Darvo's boyfriend.

I just occurred to me - Baro Ki'Teer is... Darvo's ex! And all this time I just assumed that their issues were business based, but it all makes sense. They aren't really in competition so why the bitter snide remarks from Baro and such? I mean he want Ducats and Credits - Darvo deals in plat!

Baro Ki'Teer and Darvo used to date, but Baro hated how Darvo just "gave away" stuff and also that he didn't have quite the same interest in the classy stuff that Baro does so over time there was a nasty break up!

Soon Darvo starts dating a guy (Clem) who is more interested in his line of work and more in to the same stuff as him, but the ever classy Baro is still very bitter. Now Baro's go to insult is suggesting you buy from Darvo if you have nothing to trade (and therefore aren't classy enough for him).

Thank you - thank you. Glad I figured this clearly canon situation out and am totally not reading into this!

Warframe and Destiny 1 & 2 have coexisted for years; don't see why they can't continue to do so. Besides, Destiny 2's business model is more like "free-to-try," with content beyond Forsaken being paid expansions.

Still play the base game that was given away a while back from time to time. It's alright; kinda like Borderlands meets Call of Duty without the personality. As with all AAA looter shooters, it hews very close to its core gameplay, while Warframe experiments and try different things. On the flip side, Destiny feels like a polished experience, while Warframe can sometimes feel more like a mad science experiment than a game. Pros and cons.

Anyway, I enjoyed it enough that I think I'm going to buy it on August 31st - the hard date I've set for Anthem to show signs of life before I throw it in the Pass Bin. As you can guess, it's looking more and more likely by the day. I'll still keep playing Warframe as well - I still have The New War, Empyrean and Ivara Prime to look forward to.

Bungie and Activision had a 10-year publishing deal, but things turned sour between them. When Bungie got $100 million from NetEase for a new game, they used most of it to buy themselves out of the deal two years early. Apparently, Bungie employees popped the champagnes when it was announced internally. Activision probably weren't all that happy with how the game was making "decent money" instead of "all the money" as well, so it was probably a win-win for both of them.

As part of that split, Destiny 2 is ditching Battle.net for Steam.

    Nice. Thanks for the info.

  4. I know it can’t happen anymore, but I swear for the longest time I was able to shoot into the bubble from outside as long as my weapon had punch through. But from this thread it sounds like that was never the case.

    Total opposite reaction from me.

Loved having somewhere new to stroll around as Ivara. Loved that I wasn't just going through the motions for the umpteenth time.

Took Helios with me and he had a whale of a time too 🙂

I thought going through the motions was the appeal of grind games like this.

I just wish I had an ingame way to practice high level Corpus hacking...I always sucked at pattern recognition and trying to practice with the fan-made simulator hasn't given me the muscle memory I would need for a controller.

But at least I'm a whiz at cracking Grineer Vaults (Except that one on the Grineer ship tileset...I HATE THOSE DRONES) since I'm good at timing.

I just worry about matching together the outer ring and spam the center until it auto detects.

Actually I don't think that was reason Lua spy was pulled from sortie rotation. By luck I did just a small bit of rummaging through old patch notes and came across this.

Update 20.4 patch notes - released on May 4th, 2017

    • Removed Lua Spy missions from Sortie rotation due to extensive Client loading times on min spec machines. Please note that we are working to fix this and add Lua Spy missions back into the Sortie rotation.

Lua spy was supposedly pulled due to technical issues on low-end machines. DE were supposed to fix up the Lua Spy mission (the mission itself still has some minor bugs to this day), but I'm guessing that DE never got around to fixing/optimizing Lua Spy and I think it has been fully out of sortie spy rotation this entire time. Kind of sad if it's true that it's been out of sortie spy rotation for 2 years now, because Lua spy is one of the more beautiful looking spy missions around, imo.

Thanks for the info. Also I fully agree, Lua Spy missions always were some of the more memorable ones visually.
